If I turn on my wallet after 6 months, will I still get the returns or do I need it to be permanently active?

Yes, but you miss out on 1/4th the annual interest, since max coinAge is 90 days.  Also, it's best to have your wallet locked while your wallet is downloading the block chain to get in sync.

Also, is there a planned feature for making paper backups? I have a few CGB and I'd like to put them in some real cold storage (partly because it's safest, partly because I don't want to impulsively sell them Tongue).

Yes, definitely will have paper wallets and vanity addresses real soon.  The vanity addresses was something I wanted to do for awhile but was too busy with MADEsparq development.
How do I calculate the stake I'll have? Also, if I leave my wallet in cold storage for months/years, I shouldn't worry about loosing my base coins as well correct?

Maybe FiniteByDesign can get into the paper wallet business as well as the coin/bars business...

I'm not too sure, I know when my wallet hasn't been open for a while, I seem to have a few orphaned stake blocks. It happens when I get stake while catching up with the blockchain

I find that a stable rise is a good thing. Not these 'pumps'. Hoard until 2014, when people realize how rare CGB will become. Then the price will begin to increase rapidly.

My thoughts exactly....many of these parabolic spikes in other altcoins isn't sustainable; not with their current economic ecosystem and supply/demand profile from mining.
CGB is holding very steady. Looking at its rise, it seems to be less volatile than most other coins, presumably part of the design of the coin as a way to attract savings - neat. Not sure how it has achieved this though. I am still trying to follow the "Stake" element of the wallet - anyone got a clear explanation?

Was this guide difficult to follow?  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ppcoin-proof-of-stake-minting-setup-guide-187714

In a nutshell, when coins have been sitting in your wallet for at least 30 days, you will receive some interest.  Just make sure to have your wallet unlocked to receive the interest.

Is there amount of CGB minimum u need to hold?

No minimum balance.

Thats nice. I have mine holding for a 15 days now Cheesy

The wall has been re-distributed a bit further up, which was probably a sensible move. btc38 are aware of CGB: http://www.btc38.com/altcoin/
On that page with Chrome translating you can see that there is "Data being collated" and they maybe need an executive summary?
We need it there, the sooner the better.
But I don't see us being able to provide data or contact them as the majority are English speakers that don't know Chinese. Would be helpful if we could find an individual to do it for us.
