If a coin doesn't have a website, explorer, roadmap and an active dev team. Chances are it will be delisted from Cryptopia to my understanding according to their their site.

Just for ... whatever ...
There is a website, explorer, roadmap, and active development team

That is not the reason for the delist.

I got an email from Crypotopia.  They want 1 BTC to keep listing, and they want the dev team(me) to give them full dox.. Both of these are a bit more then I can afford or feel comfortable giving to them. Sorry guys Sad

What do you mean they want you to give them full dox?  They want your dox as the dev team?

R.I.P. Cryptopia, it's not what it used to be anymore.
They are delisting a lot of great coins, nice friendly exchange now turned into yet another corporate crap.
No point to try to stay there, eventually they will delist anyway.

Go on with small exchanges, not with large ones, they are too mighty. My suggestion: cryptobridge, btc-alpha, stocks.exchange, southXchange.

Exchanges should make the trading fees dependent on the trading volume. Low volume higher fees, with some limit, of course, between 0.1% and 1.0%, for example.

To clarify our previous email, the date of the coin delisting announcement is 9 October 2018 and trade markets are now closing. The last day the coins will be on the exchange will be 11 November 2018, you have until this date to withdraw any balances to a compatible wallet.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Kind regards,

That's not good news. I wonder why they do that. HoboNickels daily trading volume was not big, but it was more than some other coins. Too bad that HoboNickels loses Cryptopia.  Sad

Any other markets available?

Unfortunately not at the moment.  Sad

Me too received a notice about delisting. Sad day for HoboNickels

Idea / Question

How about a HBN bounty for everyone who opens a ticket on Cryptopia requesting they release the coin from Maintenance?

Just received a notice about delisting on topia
GG

I think it would be worth trying to get added at https://openledger.io/  or maybe https://www.stellarx.com/ they don't have any trading fees.  I haven't tried stellerx but it seems interesting.

i just opened up a ticket as well.  I'll probably get the same response, but ... why not.  Little more than a bump/ping.

response -

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your frustration, however we are unable to release a coin from maintenance until we are sure all its issues are resolved. I hope I can give you some insight as to why this happens, as I understand parts of cryptocurrency can be opaque and I want to reassure you that your coins are safe.

Cryptopia will only ever put a coin into maintenance if we feel that not doing so will cause more issues for our users. If a wallet is crashing or there is an update that is not optimised for our large wallet sizes, bringing the coin out of maintenance too quickly would cause issues that would take longer to fix than if we ensured that the issue was completely resolved first. Due to the nature of coin maintenance issues, our devs are working on all coin problems simultaneously, and need to prioritise certain coins so that as few users as possible are affected. As this is different from day to day, we are unable to provide an estimated time for when this maintenance will be complete.

Please be assured that our primary concern is to keep your coins safe and while we fully realise this is frustrating for you and our other HBN coin holders, please kindly note this is one of our wallet teams main priorities at the moment. We hope everything will be resolved soon. Should you wish to find out more about what it means when a wallet goes into maintenance, please have a read our our knowledge base article here:

Good idea, I'll do that in some minutes too. It's really not nice that Cryptopia needs so long for the investigation. The network is running clean and stable, so i don't get it, why they need so much time.  Sad

Hey @Tranz do you think sending an email to:
[email protected]
would help any?

I wouldn't bet on it... they do their own thing without a care int he world to anything and everything that isn't them.
I sent email. I will let you know if any response.

I see they still have it out of everything.

i just filed a support ticket asking why they've been 'investigating' for five weeks.
perhaps they need to see some interest in the coin before they give it any sort of attention.

of course...

"Thank you for contacting Cryptopia Support. Unfortunately as we are still investigating the network issues related to Hobonickels we are unable to tell you exactly what they are. "
