I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

it seems you have to regret but if you still have the verge you should hold for next year surely the price will verge back to record the highest price of the latest because some cheap coin yesterday at the pump to be expensive and now back cheap again and the end of the year will again be expensive again , that's a pattern we can understand.

After making several major mistakes in the past I realized that buying cheap coins and holding them is best idea.
I missed to buy ether because of all "warnings" how ethereum is bad. I had more or less 100 dash when its price was 4$. I had lots litecoin which I have sold for - 10$. I had lots altcoins in january 2016. and I've sold them all. I sold my bitcoins for 500$. Last year I sold them for 2400$.
I regret all my past decisions.

This only works if a coin is at least half decent or it will be irrelevant like most of the altcoins from years ago.
Well i will choose to hold over than to regret. I am a kind of person that has a long patience and holding for me is not hard, because i believe that waiting for long time can result a lot of profit in the future, thats why until now i am still holding my coins.

I personally invested my money in bitcoin no matter how high the price even if it goes down or plunge sometimes i just continue to HODL it and look at it now. My patience has finally bear some fruits and manage to get triple or i think even more of my initial investment. Just dont panic sell and invest on new tokens with great technologies behind it and HODL.

the price of the coin is very rapidly changing and this makes us so speculate to make a sale or hold it so I do not think we need to regret the things we have done but in the future may have to be more careful

I sold all my Ripple in may at 0,35 usd and it seemed such a great deal, now I regret it seeing where ripple is gone in December..if you don’t need money and the project seems interesting I suggest you to hold all life long, then if that coin moons you will regret it for a long time!

Before holding any coin, always have a basic knowledge of their applications. Also their roadmap to know when strategically any new thing will be happening and how active the dev team are. Marketcap of the coin and total supply with circulating supply is necessary too.

I agree with this also to check their whitepaper and the people who's behind the team. Always make a plan before holding a coin so you can have also better exit such like how long you will hold and how much you gonna sell it. It will help us to minimize losses especially when BTC movement is very volatile so we will not panic sell at the end.

This is part of the journey. Sometimes we make impulsive decisions that we regret but it is okay as long as you learned something from it. Atleast you did not experience loss! This is just to cheer you a little bit. Smiley Make sure that you will be more patient when holding your coins. I am a coin holder just like you and as long as I could control myself, I resist selling my coins at low prices. Although it may seem hard because some dumps just look confusingly permanent and continuous, I tell myself that it will pump soon if I only wait a bit more.

Every successful trader has stops and targets. If you have decided to hold and invest in the long run there is no reason to panic. However, you can't decide to buy something that is 30 000% up for a year and hold it when it goes so much against you...

Not only you got such an experience. I'm sure that many people from the crypto world also made such a mistake. Now in order not to sell coins before the scheduled time I withdraw them from the exchange to the wallet))

Best tactic is to buy and then leave it for a whole year without checking its price during that time (couse you can sell your crypto early when it shows 100% profit while the price can go waaay to the moon later).

If you are sure of a coin, then keep it to victory. Determine how much you want to earn on this coin and sell it only when you reach that price. Although of course it is very difficult to foresee something.

Mistakes and regrets are part of the learning process, and one of the hardest things to learn in this business is the art of being patient and hodling.

Dont be regret because of that because at least you have profit already.
Start learning now from your mistake and make better in the future. Stop regret now because it will not change anything.

Just keep. This year we will have a larger pump than the market in 2017. All coins will cost at least 2 times more expensive. IMHO.

if you know that the coin that you are holding has a big potential in the cryptomarket, you should be patient to hold for long because if you are impatient, you will really regret it in the end. That's how cryptocurrency works, if you are going to invest just be patient to wait and see what will happen.
