My advise - earlier i made lots errors by trading...sold to early like you, but later I learned. Nobody know when the price will go back down..If coin is pumping, i sell just 50% of amount i have, second 50% I don't touch .Never. Just in force-major cases. With this strategy i have less regrets.

That's a great information and clearly explanation, Maybe i will all of your doing about some trading.
I know its too risky to doing that but i will doing on it.

I totally agree. Holding 100% til the very end of the trend will be too risky and gains might suddenly be lost. It's far better to secure a portion of gains and let the rest run until targets are hit.

This is a really good strategy to keep your earnings safe will still partly riding out the trend until its final moments before ultimately changing direction.

As long as you sell when it reaches your target price, I don't see any reason to regret it. At the end of the day, we can never predict the price direction.

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL. Cry Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time. Smiley I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community.

You're not alone in this, my lack of impatience has cost me more than $20,000 in the past 4 months.
i was too comfortable with 2x pump and forgot about the bigger picture.
i was so fearful that i will get nothing.
I've learnt my lessons too.
I think fear is a natural thing for all users, I'm sure a little bit of fear and worry must be in every bitcoin user's heart if bitcoin prices do not match their expectations so they sell bitcoin before bitcoin prices are really high. because they fear the bitcoin prices will soon go down and they are afraid to miss the opportunity to sell. I think you should be sure of the future of bitcoin so you can be able to hold it longer

I sold my 6k ripple coins last night! Embarrassed

I think that was probably wise. I am thinking of buying some now to make a 10-20% return or hopefully not lose money. I'm not going to lose money on that coin. However, there is a future for the coin. The only major problem is that the destroyed ripple might not actually be destroyed which would devalue they coin.

Dogecoin has already touched 0.0075$/Dogeand is about to hit 1cent per Doge.
I got to know about this today only, Though I am happy for the community but I'm regretting a lot, Sold 1Million Dogecoins at the start of this year. Sad

I should have hodl the coin, Any reliable coin you have, you should hodl it. Litecoin had the same fate, I am really optimistic about Clam coins now, They gonna rise a lot in coming 3-4 weeks Smiley

Yeah hodling is good but it is not the best for all coins. you have to inspect that coin deeply then you can decide hold or sell.

Every mistake is a good lesson in our life. I'm sure this time you will get a better profit on the coins you are holding right now. Just cheer up because i think everybody experienced that too whether they are newbie or experience trader.

Actually if you get a coin that is reliable, you better hodl it. Somehow it will rise once awhile in future.

I have made lots of such mistakes before and haven't bought verge 2 days ago when it was trading at 5 cent per coin. One of my friend got millionaire with verge and xrp but i am still strugling to get $5k lol.

Sold monaco, neo, eth, ltc just before the hard pump.

i am feeling with you, didnt bought xrb at 0.10, sold my nxt at ~0.10 in august because i did not expect the insane pump for the ignis airdrop.........try to hoodl stronger.......

Yes i agree to that, If i have a choice i will just hold my coins longer because today i am using bitcoins to sustain my daily life and the best way to do it is work on bounty campaigns because it is easier in this industry to earn more money.

JUST HODL!

The rule of the game is patience.
I agree with you. Hold until it reach its peak.
the anticipation of pump and dump is dwindling now.
All coins are just pumping because new people keep on joining the market.

I am sure there are many similar stories out there. Almost all coins had their run up this week and last week. If you noticed , coins take turns to pump. A few that I was monitoring like QTUM, BNB displayed similar pattern

Just set a target for yourself and HODL till the target is reached.

Nothing worse than selling then checking the price further down the line I'm sure we have all made that same mistake. On the other hand it can also go the other way where we would be glad we sold before they were virtually worthless.

Setting expectations is crucial in investing. 5k investment -> millionaire is not very common, even in such bullish market as Q4 this year Smiley
