Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
December was the best period to sell, now I don't know, of course the market can go down way more, but there's nothing sure. Let's just say you buy an 100 altcoins with a value of 1$ each the your target value is 10$ if the altcoin that you hold hits the value that you want, you can sell it and wait again till the value gets low at 1$ below then when it hits again the 10$ above value, you can get a bigger profit.
I think that selling now is a good option, and then buy at a low price. I sold my btc @ 1400 $, so I'm waiting for 7k $ to get a double bet. just try to find the right time to sell and buy again

Never sell at loss, just HODL during this bear market, if you have more spare money for crypto, invest and then HODL until the new bullrun occurs. ETF culd be importatnt and could determine the beginning of the new bullrun.
