Never asked that question. To hold is to be in the game, to trade, to hope for the best. Sell means to end the game, give up, take your money and leave.
Holding or selling decision depends on the individual holding a specific coin. Am telling you a fact gotten from a survey I have made from some serious researches, no matter what people will want to say or advice, if an individual asking on whether to sell or hold is being resolute about selling, then that what he/she is gonna do. Hence individuals are best to actually answers this according to one another's views.

I think you should hold 100%. It can't be worse in future, and alts will grow again very soon. I do not recommend to sell alts atm because - it will drop the price of alts even more; and you will be very upset when they will be back to the moon.

If you have invested in the long term then just keep this coin. If there will be pumping this coin, then sell it, and then re-purchase.

I think it is better to hold for a while because i have read that the market is not in good terms nowadays that is why it is hard to decide whether to sell it or hold.

Hold them as you can especially those coins or token who has high potential, good project and platform and those who a has huge community and active developers. Wait the coin to rise in the market and sell it in its satisfying and profitable price. Just sell it also in case of emergency you need a money. holding is also like you are saving money for the future. The longer you hold the greater chances of profit.
don't sell at this point now. It will pick back up as it always does in the crypto market. After a huge slaughter on the markets like today it might take a little longer to bounce back up but it will you just need to be patient Just wait for a few day before you sell you alt. The best move right now is to monitor the price gap depreciation before you decide to sell your alt. If you see the value of your alt is continuously decreasing i think it's time to decide but think of it before you do sell and calculate first if your profit and investment not loss

I am sorry to here your loss. But do not sell what you have now as you can see the price is falling down to earth. What you can do better is to buy more altcoins if possible or if you still wish to invest in any of the top coins. This is not the correct time to sell your coins. For damn sure the value is going to be rocket speed increasing few days. This sudden drop might be due to a shutdown of any mining pool or a big exchange or trader stopped their business? No ideas. Lets wait for the news. Hold the coins.

I just prefer on holding my coins because in this way i can still wait for the prices to rise up before selling it, reckless selling will be always your problem if you are intending to sell more than holding and waiting for the price to grow even better.

Is it not redundant if you sell at a loss and then buy when the pumping of price occurs? That strategy is just plain lunacy. You're selling your coins at a price lower than the buying and when you buy them back, you'll buy them more than the buying price. Just hold it instead.

Me too here, it depends on the situition though, because sometimes coin may drop abruptly so that is why we should be cautious in selling and sometimes price may increase.

If your daily needs are still sufficient you better hold it. Maybe at that time you can not wait to wait and saturated to see the price down every time. Actually in this down time good action is to buy it and hold it. Not when the price goes up we buy it. I am sure you will benefit if you are patient to wait for the market price to go up.

I think you will lose your profits when selling a low price, better you can hold the next few months by waiting for a higher price.
