It is not bullshit, the reason why you are Holding is because you are thinking that the coin has a potential and you know that it can achieve higher price in the future, if you missed the opportunity or if the price was not like what you are expecting then that is your fault because you chose the wrong token or coin.
Its depend to your holding coin maybe its better if you have another coin to hold that have potential like Ethereum because once you have it surely you can have a lot of profit and holding it is really worth it because its increase its value even there's sometimes have dumping in the market. I suggest to you be patient when you holding your coin because it is the right thing to do. No one can find a potential currency at a glance. I think this discovery is a process and a development process for a coin or a project.

You are holding a shit coins...that's why you don't earn any profit. Look for coins that has a working product or at least at progress, clear roadmap. So you know exactly about the coins.

I think there is not strategy will worth good in this down trend market since hold or day trade is not very useful.

Choose for the coins to invest which has possible to grow in the market. Some holding makes you lose profit because the coin do not recover from dumping and it make you regret to take risk again.
Holding is the essential way to gain rather than trading. However i prefer to trade on a weekly basis. Its hard to day trade when you are working full time. Thus a weekly trading is more easier. But i only trade on a very small amount. Most of mmy portfolio are long term holds. Its easier to hodl than trading. I have lost quite a lot when i started trading initially. It's better to hodl than trading in my oppinion. Crypto is a very volatile market and is susceptible to Pump n Dump. Once u're hit, it's hard to climb back up again.
You should sell them if the market is bullish. You should sell atleast 30% and hold your 70%. The cycle keeps repeating so you need to analyze it every now and then. Keep holding coz it's a sign of being a millionaire.
Sounds like you didn't pick the right coins. Most coins went 10-100x last year.
Maybe you should try holding coins that are top listed so that you will see any difference after a year or two. I won't specifically suggest a certain coin. Just look at the top listed coins.
Definitely your holding coin is not long live potential coin because Espers is huge supply coin 50,000,000,000 ESP how you deserved this coin after 5 years will be huge pumped and same thing is happened in your others coin such as InsaneCoin is not good potential coin in my looking.I think you invest with wrong alt it's just my opinion.A lot crypto have good future and long term invest is good with this crypto.

There have been situations when i had to hold but i sold out for pennies on dollar and have had the same situation another way around.
pick the coins with working product, good community members, good partnerships, and good roadmap to hodl and it will payoff.
