It appears to me that lauda is only supported by members with considerable dirt to be found in their own histories here.
If lauda is not given a very lengthy signature ban then it will serve only to demonstrate there are some clear double standards being imposed at an admin level. I see no reason not to ban members that have considerable and consistent events in their past that demonstrate the pose a clear and direct financial threat to other members.

I think Lauda deserves a pass here. When I joined this forum, not long ago, I quickly noticed Lauda was one of the kindest and helpful posters around.

Always very polite, always ready to help, I also saw she has a nice sense of humor. Most newbies I discussed with were very happy to receive Lauda's help, overall there seemed to be a consensus that Lauda was one of the pillars on this forum, and one of the reasons why bitcointalk became very popular over the years and a very successful community  

Honestly Lauda should stay and is here to stay, one of the best posters I have ever seen since I first got Internet and seems to be a genuinely beautiful person.

The decision was already made by not making the decision. Having said that, I am not advocating that Lauda gets banned, nor do I wish that to happen. I am just pointing out that not making a decision, and not justifying it publicly, is a resolution of sorts.

A prime example of that is the 15 months Ban appeal by RegulusHr that I am sure you and many other have seen in Meta from time to time. Lauda and many others showed their support and asked for clarification many times...

At least on how I see things that would happen. There is in fact that plagiarism has happened with several posts from Lauda, what would likely be the outcome is she will be banned because of it but also she will be unbanned because of a ban appeal (she will have) which would most likely be approved since people will argue about the contributions she had for the forum. A ban really should happen hear if the mods would like to avoid any kind of retaliation from permabanned members and their friends on how Lauda will be getting a free pass for this, at least a due process on an appeal should be fair for all of us.
