You should enjoy "Slender Man". The movie is very loosely based on the true story of two young girls who stabbed their friend to (near) death and claimed to have done so for internet boogie man Slender Man.
"A quite place" is worth watching in my opinion. This film, starring America's favorite couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (and directed by Krasinksi), is about a family hiding from a supernatural baddie that can only hunt them if it can hear them. As a means of survival, they've learned to live an entirely silent life.
My favourite horror movie is anebelle.

"ANNIHILATIONA" is one of the greatest horror films in my opinion. The movie follows a group of scientists who have to explore a mysterious disaster area where another group of scientists disappeared—except for one (played by Oscar Isaac), who came back horrifically injured.
Maybe not because I do not dare to watch horror movies because it is scary.

Kinda hard to answer. Dario Argento is up there (Suspiria, Deep Red, Tenebrae ...), but I´ll go with Noisy Requiem, which deserves a lot more recognition.
of course the film that I think is scary is jelangkung (2001) and jailangkung (2017).
Insidious 1 and 2 is a good watch, the way the story connects with each other is just mind blowing.
