Bitcoin can now be booked by the hotel. Expedia found online in collaboration with Coinbase to implement the biggest travel booking agency in the world. Since mid-2014, users have been able to book hotels using the Bitcoin payment option. Expedia is currently only expected to accept Bitcoins for booking the hotel, but also includes flight booking and other activities. We can do much more by future Bitcoin.
Some of the business hotel they implement it correctly and don't face any issues then it will be big news for bitcoin holders and traders. Some hotels area accepting bitcoins but they stopped after some time so if these guys also do the same mistake then it will be a big setback for using Bitcoin in mainstream businesses.
I love the idea, I hope that soon this initiative will be taken by the hotels in my country, making it easier to pay.
This is a good step from the casino owner. If this is successful and move without any issues for quite some time then surely bitcoins demand will grow exponentially. Because this hotel business is very big in worldwide. But if they implement it correctly and don't face any issues then it will be big news for bitcoin holders and traders. Earlier Fiverr was also accepting bitcoins but they stopped after some time so if these guys also do the same mistake than it will be a big setback for using Bitcoin in mainstream businesses.
Wow that's good news! I have an open mind on the global acceptance on btc, would create advantages, not only on hotels, banking systems and business establishments that will accept the btc as payment
compared to fiat currency.
I only know about some websites where you can pay with Bitcoins for air tickets. Maybe some hotels are advertising this service but actually you can use for payment only Bitcoin debit card not with Bitcoins directly. Thank you for sharing this. Well, Bitcoin really isn't illegal.. It's a form of money and for most people who don't really give much of a crap to analyse it that way:
a way to process payments.. It should even be more beneficial to accept more ways, especially since you could easily do that and eliminate the middle man
and get more money in the process.

Bitcoin entering the hotel industry is a really big step... Soon bitcoin will reach out every possible industry and that will be a very good news for us.
That means more customers and a good name. I think the world prefers to keep as much as bitcoin not to spend it, but it's still a good thing.

It is good to hear how people accommodate bitcoin user to pay for hotels. Well, this is not surprising for in a long run many are really wnating to switch bitcoin as a mode of payment and now its is. Let's just be thankful about it and aim for more of it.
That's a great development for bitcoin. If there are hotels that accept payment with bitcoin, of course it is a thing that can facilitate the customer. It also proves that bitcoin is increasingly accepted in many fields.

I think this is a good thing, if there are many hotels that receive bitcoin then users will be happy and will pay with bitcoin, this is because hotel users are very fond of privacy so bitcoin payment is a highly anticipated thing.

I travel for work (a lot) and can only dream of the day when all major hotel chains will accept Bitcoin (or some form of crypto currency).
Imagine if major hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton and Four Seasons accepted Bitcoin and even offered an incentive to use it when staying with them?
As much as I hate to spend my coins, a buy 1 night get 1 night for free when you use Bitcoin sure does sound nice.

I only know about some websites where you can pay with Bitcoins for air tickets. Maybe some hotels are advertising this service but actualy you can use for payment only Bitcoin debit card not with Bitcoins directly. Thank you for sharing this.
