I read an article about him. He seems so into himself, he acts like someone who is capable of doing everything just because he earned millions with bitcoins. I just don't know if he is just provoking and getting the attention of other people for them to start investing and believing on bitcoin or he is just a total jerk, who knows. By the way, he's so lucky and somehow impressive in controlling his emotions not to do panic selling back then. Maybe some people are still regretting not doing the same thing when they had the chance before.

I dislike him a bit. Dude got lucky by betting on bitcoin using a family member's money, and won. Now he's making those big statements. Looks like he's doing well though, I was expecting him to be like those boastful one hit wonder millionaires but it looks like he's doing really well in Silicon Valley right now. Good for him.

He is now 18 years old. Despite of being disppointment in terms of education, he is now a successful and the youngest millionare by bitcoin and by his innovations and by being creative.

I'm so glad for Eric. However, his sentence already shows arrogance. First of all, I don't think there are too many people in the world who can get $ 1000 from their grandmother! There are millions of people who don't even have $ 10 to invest for!

Eric can be a very smart young man! But I'm sure there are a lot of kids who are smarter than Eric and don't have the potential to come out because he doesn't get serious training!

In other words, not being rich in the next 10 years can sometimes be the result of the corrupt system on the world, not the human himself.

Sometimes intelligence isn't needed to get to the right place, and even luck can be enough! I don't know which applies to Eric. But I think it would be more correct to judge people not with their wealth, but with the way they have come from the beginning, with their moral values and personality.

After Zuckerberg, its Eric is the youngest millionaire who is using, inventing and spreading these emerging technologies. The Internet is the things which teach you and help you to earn and i.e. proved by Eric.

He decided to compete his brother by buying hundreds of bitcoin worth $1,000 in which his grandmother's  gave.

Yeah right,I wanna become a millionaire too by buying bitcoins with my grandmother's money. Grin
Unfortunately for me my grandmother died and she wasn't rich.
This is kid is just lucky. He's not a genius.
I think you can still make it without your grandma not be alive again. You can get a job and make some savings from the earnings from your salaries and invest those savings in bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency that are extremely cheap now but will be great in future and stellar is one of those coins. If you can buy $1000 worth of stellar now or any of those crypto that are seriously undervalued, then hold to maybe the next 10 years, you will be here sharing the same story with us.

I hope he makes this money work for him and he builds something to generate passive income for him. Yes, he was lucky and smart to buy in at a low price and fortunate enough that the price skyrocketed, but it is not to say that it might happen again.

The thing about money is this, once you get a taste of it, you can never get enough. The other thing is, if you work hard for it, you tend to appreciate it, but when you get it with very little effort, you waste it.  Roll Eyes

This is inspiring from young Eric. It takes technicals and faith to believe in something that is been fought by the government and the mainstream. Many had panic and sold out all position before they were made, today they are wishing they could turn back the hands of time. I am on a mission too.

It's a big statement! An 18 year old male who grew up in an affluent family, is not a good fit for making such statement! Becoming a millionaire doesn't make you eligible for such statements!

People come from different backgrounds, different financial situations and different family situations! To get a different perspective of life, speak to a slum boy someday!

Arrogance and ignorance is what made him say that. some kid s with a wealthy family tend to do that. I've also seen some of his interviews and I wasn't impressed
he sounds like a jerk that thinks he figured out everything just because he that much money.

Whether it is true or not He became rich through bitcoin, all I can say is that bitcoin can be a way for us to change our lives and it could help us to become rich or lead us down to poor situation. Because, as far as I know bitcoin was a volatile digital currency were there is no stable in terms of price. But this was just my opinion only.

I remember this kid. He came off like a privileged, entitled jerk in his interviews. Not everyone is given thousands of dollars by their grandparents to buy whatever they want! Wink It sounds like he was just immensely lucky that his brother introduced him to Bitcoin, and that he had money to invest at the right time. That's a once in a lifetime opportunity!

usually people like this don't remain rich because they don't understand the concept of money. basically they think it grows on trees since they got lucky once. i hope it is not the case with this kid but i have seen many who came upon such large amounts of money and ended up gambling it all away by taking bad risks due to their lack of experience and lost all of it in a short time and ruined their lives because they burnt all their bridges thanks to that money thinking they were rich and stay rich forever!

I am talking about Eric Finman.

An inspiring story that is worth to read.

This is just a summarized of his journey.

Eric Finman is just a typical 16 year old student who is bright and creative. He has smart two brothers and he is the youngest. He is into latest technologies. When his brother introduced digital currencies (bitcoin) at 2013 who his brother brought 50 bitcoins. He decided to compete his brother by buying hundreds of bitcoin worth $1,000 in which his grandmother's  gave.

His brother Ross gave him a book by Ohanian ( a co-founder of Reddit), which indicates the power of internet and which got Eric's attention and interests. He is eager to meet him but there is $8,500 fee which made his parents think it was too much. With his eagerness he founds out and discovered that the bitcoin reached $1,200 and he sold his bitcoin to $100,000.

Finally, he met Ohanian. It amazed him how matured enough Eric when it comes to technology. One time, as a freelancer, he make a Flappy Bird knockoff  game and Ohanian is an eye opener for Eric's eagerness to use internet as a source of income.

He produce his own programmers, etc. And made his own company.

I just thought Mark Zuckerberg is the youngest millionare. Now, it is Eric Finman.

Here is my favorite line from my idol,
