Scammers have not become smaller, they are more and more in this direction, now this is quite a lengthy correction in the market, and all the projects that are currently entering the market are experiencing VERY big difficulties! Now a days lot of scam ICOs were run by the scammers so people may lose interest on ICO projects recently,so the legitimate ICOs are also not getting enough support but we can't say all the ICOs are failed still some ICO made good cap values in this year even the crypto field is very down.So better projects are never failed even at the hard times.
The advice it's good, but not many ICOs have their own blockchain. Choose what is useful and has a real world use. In a way or another they will emerge! Rest assured

You're right. Good ICO is not actually the basis to make it succesfull there is a big possibilty that it has some changes afterwards. Researching is very important at all. This year is not actually Bad for ICO because many Ico becomes successful today.

I don't agree that we must choose blockchain projects, because the main things still the people in that project. If they want to scam, then soon or late they will do it. My last bounty project Effect.ai has raised 74% from the hardcap. But of course there are a lot of ICOs which don't raise even softcap. I think that this situation will continue until the next surge comes.

Bad indeed, most of ICO dropped their token price. but i think this is normal, because they must focus to execute their roadmap,

I think as an investor, we should make a deep research and background check in the ICO's possibility to become a real service. Since a real service providing ICO is much worth of trust and large investment. I was already scammed by GRAPHENE POWER ICO. I have invested about 1 ETH yet after the ICO the dev team disappeared.

im lucky joining in a successful ICO bounty campaign because they are well organized they prioritize all investors and bounty hunters. So I don't have a bad experience in ICO this year.
ICO performance is largely depend on the prevailing condition of the market. You can not use price alone to judge if ICO are successful or failed. Many ICO are still developing and there is no criteria to condemn any ICO as failed ICO.
90% of the ico projects are scam and I can not say that they are bad, just developers think that it is more profitable to raise money from pre/main sales and leave the market
ICOs are getting worse, the market goes down, making the trend of investing in ICOs go down. Many investors withdraw from the market and cut losses when the market gets worst. I think the ICOs will come back at the beginning of May.
I think people's feelings about ico have become more negative in the past months, with banning ads and being in the news negatively they seem to become less popular.
ICO this year are not bad, just a lot of deception, so you have to be more careful in choosing a good project. do not let yourself be deceived. look for good and promising projects
