I think right now, there is no reason why bitcoin is better than any other coins but the current market price of bitcoin. There are many disadvantages in bitcoin right now but it doesn't overwhelm the benefits we are getting.

bitcoin has the fame, popularity or should I say the crown? It's better than other coins because it already established its value in the cryptocurrency world. It will be difficult for one coin to take and replace the number 1 spot of bitcoin, it would really take time. not soon
Bitcoin's price makes it's better than other coins. Because this is the its best characteristices which make it best than other coin. People make it populer for its price.
At my opinion doesn't matter what to hold bitcoin or altcoins because everything in cryptoworld changing very fast and you never know when promising at your opinion coins will die.

which makes bitcoin better than other coins because I think bitcoin has a very limited total supply and has a very high demand with the support of a very strong bitcoin network from blockchain that makes sending very fast and secure makes bitcoin the best choice of other cryptocurrencies.

Only ETH can do this but it will take a long time. We are seeing new coins very day and may be some new coin comes with some cool innovative features to beat both.
