Yes. I do believe that bitcoin is better than other cryptocurrencies because firstly, bitcoin is older form of cryptocurrencies whereas other alternate cryptocurrencies are newer as compared to bitcoin. Then secondly, bitcoin is more trusted than other alternate cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is way more popular than other cryptocurrencies. Then bitcoin is in much more demand than other alternate cryptocurrencies. So because of these things I prefer holdings of bitcoin over holdings of other alternate cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is better than any other coin because it's proven safe,aside from the fact that it is the first crypto currency that has been create to help people to get high profit.
the reason for this is mainly because of first mover advantage and i would argue that any problem bitcoin has in regards to fees and block size can be solved in a debate and those rendering those other coins as no match for it...in lightning network gets activated I can't see why an altcoin would overthrow it all....

For me its ETHEREUM and NEO. Because they have both very less transaction and they are both have smart contracts. They are really the best in terms of less transaction fees. And I do believe that they are the best for long term position, specially the NEO, because NEO is still undervalued now. Bitcoin is better than other coins simply because it's the most tradable coin,one of the most expensive coins to acquire,one coin every other coins wants to have a deal with.. It also mineable.
Technically, there are better cryptocurrencies than bitcoin, but I can't see any other replacing btc anytime soon. The name itself has engraved in today's digital society..everybody and their grandmother have heard about bitcoin..can't beat that.
