Nope! i don't agree with that. Gambling can be of help to you emotionally and in giving you hard life lessons but by far it will not help you financially. You may be able to learn through your experiences in losing and winning in gambling that will make you a better decision maker but if you say that it will help you financially that is like playing Russian roulette with most of your finances on the line. Gambling shouldn't be in any way be considered as a solution to your monetary issues

you will able to get life lessons from gambling if you hard thinker and doesn't play and leave like nothing happen. bitcoin was able to help you as alternative finance not your prime finance( stable income in case ). take the positives from everything you do, don't make it far from your real life.

If we're talking about the owners of lottery, casinos and gambling sites, there no doubt that gambling is making their life better. If you are gaining profit, then of course it will help you. The masterminds and who's standing atop of gambling businesses are getting rich, if you're one of them then gambling can sustain your everyday needs.

On the other hand, people who bet too much money and gamble to just pass time with no intention to win will just lost. I've seen people who sold everything they had just to win a bet, which I think is not a very good thing to do. Addiction plays a great role too, it can lead to loss of everything, your family, your life.
