Holding your coins is better than selling it. You can have a higher profit when you hold your coins until the price increases that to sell when the price decreases.

Altcoins will increase and decrease but it doesn't mean you must quit. Actually that is what the plays in market. You couldn't say stop it now, dump now or whatever. Market flows continue whether you like or not. Market flows will never be in stagnant or in stable but always goes up and down. I think you need to practice it to yourself what the market motion.

If you want to do hodl then you just need a safe wallet like hardware wallet and in that case you can just send your bitcoins there and keep it for long term and that is a way of holding which is so beneficial for you to do because if the price of bitcoin spikes up again then you will be profiting because you will have an increase in fiat value of your bitcoin.
I think its very bad time to quit right now. Investors will easily become bullish after this bear situation ends and profits will be great. What to do now is patiently waiting for best time while making good wallet.

If it goes down, the best thing to do is to wait for it to go up, most especially if you are losing already. There is really no sound reasoning why you would quit when you have already invested and instead of your goal to gain, you are rather losing. The crypto market always fluctuates, so there is really no need to quit if for a time the market is in red blood. In a volatile market, everything goes up after some downs. And vice versa.
Unless you invested in coins that has no development and based purely on speculation. Some alternative cryptocurrencies on the other hand are still on their development process. Some of them expected to release their working product of platform in this year 2018. Quit on useless, Hodl on the one with progress.
not just today. I think that happens every day. and it was a reasonable price. so following the trend of a good market price is more profitable. rather than seeing only the percent of a coin price.
I always recommend people put at least 70% of their portfolio in coins with strong fundamentals such as BTC, LTC, ETH, XMR etc.
