Bitcoin is already a currency, other people already using these to buy necessities through online transaction. But there is still hindrance beyond it because not everywhere you can use it there's still limitations,as for being decentralized other people hesitate to trust on it. One more thing because of its volatility it will make us harder to let go our Bitcoin to use as a currency we can't predict what to happen maybe tomorrow it's value is higher than the value of what your purchasing today.I think the value of Bitcoin needs to become stable first.

Standard wire transfers and foreign purchases typically involve fees and exchange costs. Since bitcoin transactions have no intermediary institutions or government involvement, the costs of transacting are kept very low. This can be a major advantage for travelers. bitcoins can get you almost anything on the internet with hundreds of thousands of bitcoin transactions happening every 24 hours.

In order for bitcoin or cryptocurrencies to be able to replace currencies, used in transactions in life will probably take more time. Because the price of Bitcoin is currently unstable, constantly changing, minute by minute. This makes payment difficult because prices are not stable. Second, the smallest unit of Bitcoin is the satoshi, which is 10 ^ -9. Later, when the price of Bitcoin increases, it is possible that the smallest unit of Bitcoin is still greater than the amount to be paid, so how will they handle it? Moreover, the transaction confirmation will take time and not immediately, on average, it will take 10 minutes for a new transaction to be confirmed. So, for every transaction we make, do we have to wait 10 minutes to confirm the transaction before we can get the goods?

These are a few inadequacies when paying with Bitcoin and that is one of the reasons it is difficult to replace fiat money at the moment!

In my opinion, we cannot forced people to use bitcoin as their first option of payments because they are still using fiat currencies as their main source of buying goods and services in their respective countries. It might be possible for bitcoin, but it will only be considered as an alternative in my opinion not unless bitcoin is already fully adopted in their countries and it is more guaranteed payment adoption is inevitable to all users.

People will use bitcoin as a means of payment only if it is economically profitable for them. To do this, it is necessary that bitcoin has a stable price, so that people do not have to choose whether to pay for the purchase today or maybe tomorrow, when the exchange rate for bitcoin increases.
Economically profitable? If that's the case then we will never use bitcoin in such instance of a currency. Some says that we can use bitcoin if we come to meet the price in a certain range with stability, but we will never see that happening. What's only stable on bitcoin's part is the supply, we have a fixed 21M btc supply and the demand is fluctuates every time so there's no way that you'll see the price of bitcoin staying in a certain price for long. There are merchants that is already accepting bitcoin, YES , but I'm pretty sure that they know the risks of it.  Aside who's going to spend their BTCs?

In my own opinion, considering the popularity of Bitcoin to the mass, I can say that there is still a lot of work for us to convince people to use Bitcoin as their currency. As of now, we really cant make it  as our main currency but we can have it as an alternative.
Definitely, it all comes down to the essence of awareness creation. It is only through creation of awareness via social media, meetups, seminars, one-on-one, etc that the people will be corrected from some of the misconceptions they keep about Bitcoin. Some are still of the believe or conception that Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme.

Social media is an easy way to promote something However it will depend entirely on them they will not use bitcoin They will not use Bitcoin unless the government of their country supports it. Also, I think if they see the easy profits from the crypto market and bitcoin and get more profit from other sites then they will want to use bitcoin very easily It is good for people to use bitcoin to promote it on social media They need to understand about Bitcoin and see its reliability.

No one is forcing people to adopt and use Bitcoin neither in countries where it is not accepted nor rejected. The focus should be on presenting Bitcoin to the mass, create awareness of it as many people as still not aware of the technology. Through this awareness creation, people with misconceptions about Bitcoin will be corrected and perhaps start using Bitcoin. Effective Bitcoin awareness creation can be done through social media platforms, one-on-one talk approach, hosting meetups etc.

Right now bitcoin can be used as a medium of exchange in some companies or websites but it’s not acceptable worldwide so when bitcoin is accepted fully by the world it will easily be called a currency.

or start sharing your crypto journey to the nearest person around you and he might be converted as btc user later on. the more crypto users we are, the better for crypto market. sometimes it takes one person around us to increase the number of bitcoin users in the community.

A certain amount of time has to pass for truly Bitcoins to enter our lives.
Well, you're partially right, but its not about time passing at all.
Its about coins and tokens and businesses and stores developing a unique and comfortable-to-use system so people could use it and be happier.
At the moment I can say one thing - bitcoin is most certainly not going to be the one currency which we're going to use daily.
It may sound silly, but its really looks like a digital gold - yeah its all shiny and precious, but you won't be able to really spend it without other currency.
Thats why we need alts and thats why some of us who invest wisely in alts is going to be a millionaire because of crypto

But it is not wrong to make it an option right?

Especially that we are going through a pandemic. Online payments and different alternatives are being pushed to use so that people don't need to go outside and risk themselves to buy things that they need. I am so busy with my work that I missed some free cashouts in one of our local exchange, I think that is a good thing there too if they add some cashback to paying bills too. In our country, people are actually accepting money in this local exchange but they are just using the online wallet for fiats and don't know that there are multiple cryptocurrency wallets following it.

first: every country will definitely have a remote area that is difficult to use an internet connection and the people there certainly will not be able to use bitcoin as the main payment option because they still need the country's currency.
second: bitcoin still cannot stabilize prices so many people are afraid to use it in contrast to USD
third: ban from the state
so we cannot force people to use bitcoin as the main payment option due to many factors

www.Crypto.Games: Multiple coins, multiple games
During my initial years, I used to sped a lot of time in convincing people, about the advantages of cryptocurrency. But despite my best efforts only one or two took my words seriously. Nowadays I don't even try. IMO, it is better for these people to hear about crypto from some other source, such as media or office. Bitcoin has reached such a level of acceptability, that individual additions are no longer important.

I guess that people are skeptical of using Bitcoin as a currency because of its unstable prices across the market. It's only useful as a store of value, though. Besides that, Bitcoin's transaction processing times are very limited. Slow TX throughput and high fees greatly undermine Bitcoin's mainstream adoption. The Lightning Network is already there to solve this problem, but it's still in its infancy. We may have to wait a little longer until Bitcoin becomes mature enough for the mainstream world.

What we can do is introduce people to stablecoins in order to pave the way for Bitcoin's adoption worldwide. They're becoming extremely popular than traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, because of their stable prices on the market. 1 Tether, 1 USDC, or 1 DAI will always be equal to $1 USD no matter what. This allows people to use crypto as they would with traditional Fiat. It's like the combining the "best of both worlds".

No matter how our efforts may be in spreading the word about Bitcoin, only a small fraction of people worldwide will find it attractive. Those who value decentralization/censorship-resistance, will join the "Bitcoin bandwagon". Others who want convenience will stick to "good-old" Fiat. In this world full of choices, anyone can decide which type of currency to use from the other for mainstream transactions. We cannot force everyone to use Bitcoin as a currency, due to their different needs. With due time, Bitcoin will be able to experience massive adoption in the mainstream world like never before. We must be patient in order to achieve great results in the future. Just my opinion Smiley

This can not happen as the transaction confirmation time is pretty high and the people can't wait for such long for buying a cup of coffee wen they can pay with cash or their card in a few seconds and be off with their goods. So i guess this problem needs to be addressed first.

In order for people to use Bitcoin as a currency Bitcoin must be legal in their country and have the support of the government, then we can easily use Bitcoin as a currency and banks will increase Bitcoin transactions. If Bitcoin can be used as a currency then its investment will increase and Bitcoin will be able to transact in currency very easily without any need to break down.
But those countries where the bitcoin is already legalized can take an initiative of making the stores to have bitcoin as a payment option, for a good future for bitcoin as a payment system there should be a start.

For things government or financial instruction will have to play a very big role in order to promote to pursue that the retailers or websites of e-commerce accepts the bitcoin as a payment method. This will boost people to slowly starts accepting and later on will even start making payment through crypto as well. Also, today's young generation in all countries would be ready to use and go digital way rather than carrying cash all over place.

I do not think that bitcoin is a good option for currency, with its slow transactions. There are other digital currencies that are faster and are accepted by stores or service providers. Every year it becomes more convenient
