The great city of God 🔥
3. Free drinks/alcohol and then there are live band - So they gave you free drinks and alcohol, but perhaps you make you drunk and so your judgement is clouded and potentially you losing big money. And then there are entertainment, such as live bands performing every hour to keep you inside and watch and have some fun while at the same time losing money.
Actually I have read through your points but I don't see much difference between casino and some other companies In terms of promotion, hospitality, or good management to their customers. As far as I know casino is just doing those things to promote their Market just as other company does. Drinking alcohol is at anybody's Risk wether to drink to stupor or to drink responsibly doesn't have anything to do with casino. Even if casino offers free drink or live band they don't force anyone to use that medium to drink and gamble out their money, but individual have their differences some will likely to straight to gamble imidiately they are drunk to try luck which is not good. They usually see that moment as an opportunity to win big, but don't know it's the most risky time to gamble. Even though some may be opportuned to win big during that period, but not many will be lucky. I believe certainly that anything that happens to a gambler is %90 of their fault because gamble don't come to you, rather you go to gamble.

1. Incentives and Rewards - majority of casinos have this membership card, and so when you play and you used it, you will accumulate points and you can used this points like to get free merchandise from them. I even have been given free hotel accommodation.
for me this one is really getting the attention of gamblers reason they still keep coming back to the casinos,  wherein what the benefits of the members can get after all, especially if the casinos offers free daily rewards to bet coz it's a plus for a lot of gamblers .infact on such offer  it's a big advantage for them to have a chance making money without spending again.

Actually mostly casino's even through online, it's very common and yes a good benefits for all gamblers , especially those who can afford to spend a lot of money coz they can still playing using their rewards.

There are many things that attract people and allow them to feel the festive atmosphere, even if they lose. For example, there may be beautiful girls, a very elegant setting, no clocks on the walls and even curtained windows so that the player does not pay attention to the time. I heard that sometimes for rich clients they can even make a separate room for living with all the amenities. This is done so that the player can more easily part with money while in the casino and feel completely relaxed.

If a gambler is attracted to the benefits that a casino usually offers to gamblers, it is likely that he will face the most problems. Because giving you more leverage will trick your brain into gambling more, and if you drink alcohol along the way, you'll experience more devastating losses. Because the more alcohol you drink, the better you will feel, but the more you drink, the more dangerous it will be.
Because you won't realize what you're doing, you'll instantly be spinning blind and you'll be more drawn to gambling. So we must get out of such a place because gambling addicts are usually in favor of this approach, so we should stay away from addiction as much as possible.

If we talk of psychology, casinos don't even have to provide incentives and rewards, carefully make a sophisticated design, provide free drinks, and whatnot. Gambling I guess is part of our human nature. Gambling itself is enough for people to get attracted to it. To a certain extent, gambling is a necessity. If there was no gambling, it would have to be invented, discovered, whatever. It cannot not be there.

So the list is just a bonus. Even in dirty and disorderly gambling houses where all of it doesn't exist, there are still patrons. The reason is is gambling itself.

I don't request loans~

1 is basically the same across every type of business that wants to retain its customers. Even supermarkets have them, and they sell necessities! I guess if I were to add more to it, I'd say the socialization factor? Like you can talk to other people, socialize with them, share a couple of drinks and stuff like that. That's for me personally an attraction, though I think it depends on the casino type? Afaik there are casinos where the place is just littered with slots machines. Those kinds of casinons you'd barely have anyone to talk to since it's only you and the machine lol.

Psychology is used to boost sales in many industries. Grocery store chains, for example, put their highest selling items in the very back to make sure that you have to walk through the entire store to see all of their inventory just to get the one thing that you need. Physical casinos are also famous for not easily making their exits known or letting people know the time.

The existence of bonuses or prizes provided by the casino for its customers to get is one of the things that I think can make customers come back again and again to the casino, besides that with other good services of course it will make customers comfortable and reluctant to move casinos, there are many things or ways that casinos will do to make customers comfortable gambling in their casinos because by making them comfortable of course it will create long-term benefits because they will gamble in casinos that have made them comfortable.
Many options will determine it, but I think the main thing is the bonuses and promotions that the casino gives to its customers, with the OP aiming for a physical casino, the casino service must of course be very good, especially when there are customers who experience problems, casino workers must be alert to serve customers who are experiencing problems to solve their problems, if not alert in this case I think it will annoy customers and they will likely not feel comfortable.

Well, that's how the casino is supposed to be. I haven't been in a phyiscal casino in quite a while now and I literally missing the feeling of being in there with my friends. However, in a small casino, they don't usually give out free drinks and accommodations. I think that will only be applicable to huge casinos and for people who have huge bank rolls as well.

2. Design of casinos - it was really brilliantly crafted by the design itself, very big, no clocks inside, and then the color could have played as well, like gold and red which they say is the lucky color or color of money.

3. Free drinks/alcohol and then there are live band - So they gave you free drinks and alcohol, but perhaps you make you drunk and so your judgement is clouded and potentially you losing big money. Some of the things in your area are different from where I am. Point 1 is standard across all casinos I think, It's basically like VIP levels on the online casinos. You get more points the higher your level and you can earn bigger prizes in some cases. I think you just have to sign up for a membership card and they send you free hotel rooms for certain days. Usually it's a promo for weekdays as they want people paying on the weekends when the casino is usually full. They figure if they get you to the casino, you will spend $$$.

Point 3 is different for me. Here in Indiana we pay for drinks at the casino. Other areas such as Las Vegas give free drinks, but not in my state.

For me, I think regardless of all these factors, the reality that all gamblers are expecting to find instant wealth in gambling, that psychology alone is enough to make gamblers keep coming back to gambling despite of their consecutive losses.

I guess this is already an inevitable thought most particularly for those who are born in the environment of gamblers. Even if they all say they just want to gamble and find entertainment, but the fact remains that all gamblers are expecting luck so they can hit the jackpot prize in gambling.

There’s actually a part of land-based casinos that cannot be replicated by online and it’s the sensation and feeling of being in the place and vicinity of it. It’s something that would be hard to replicate unless there would be a very advanced technology already. There are lights and scents that make the sensation feel more manageable. That’s a psychological thing that I thought of.

I learned about this in a documentary and funnily enough supermarkets designed the same way to attract people and spend more on their store.

anyway, I remember from the documentary that even the placement of their tables, games, etc... was carefully designed to maximize the amount of time people would spend at the casino. supermarkets also use the same technique.
That's true, the way a supermarket is organised, everything matters, from the height on the shelves to the location of the product. Lidl also has a genius approach in making you spend more, by having an abundance of cheaper products, often below the €1 price mark, luring you into thinking you're buying a bunch of cheap stuff, which quickly adds up.

To return to the main subject, physical casinos are a plague, and I'd avoid them even though I'm a gambler myself. They're built to make you lose, and the OP's point on alcohol is accurate, you're much more likely to surpass your boundaries by making you tipsy. They know what they're doing, nothing is irrelevant and everything has a very specific purpose.

I actually watched a clip recently about this psychology and how casinos use it to keep their customers coming to their place -  they’ll create this feeling that they have the potential to win something big by allowing them to win something small even if it’s not in monetary form but it should give them the idea that something big is possible if they keep trying and without them even realizing what’s happening they’ll just keep playing and keep returning to the casino everyday to try their luck because if the idea that was initially created by the casino.

The incentives and rewards really create a sense of loyalty, and it’s impressive how they can turn those points into a tangible benefit, like free stays or meals. Casinos are often engineered to keep us disoriented and engaged for longer periods. The free drinks are a clever tactic to lower inhibitions and encourage more betting. The live entertainment adds to the overall experience, making it feel like a fun night out, even when the house edge is working against us.

I think another big factor is the social aspect. Gambling can be a communal activity where the excitement of others can be infectious. Plus, there’s the thrill of risk and the hope of winning big that keeps people coming back for more.

Aside from excellent customer service, the treatment. If someone is felt VIP done by the casinos and its staff, that's one way to make a gambler keep on coming back. Because of special the treatment, it's going to make every gambler feel that they've given importance by the casino. Who doesn't want to be treated well? All of us, so, best customer service, treatment and being attended to makes us confident and happy. And whenever a customer is happy, that's one of the reasons why we become repeat customers/gamblers.

Nothing new here if I may say. We all know these and a new perspective you may have added to the OP to spark a new discussion around the subject is to shift the focus to online casinos. How are online casinos able to influence gamblers. I will tell you:
-Fast and reliable live support
- An excellence user interface that is easy to navigate
- A vibrant community
- Colour combinations
- A lot of promotions etc

Maybe you can add to it as what are you think we keep on coming back as if we are under the spell of this big casinos?

Casinos’ use of psychology to influence customer behavior is both common and controversial. On the one hand, it can be argued that casinos provide entertainment, and that using scientific methods to improve customer experience is a natural part of the industry. On the other hand, some argue that these practices exploit people’s psychological vulnerabilities and increase the risk of gambling addiction. The evaluation of these practices depends on personal opinion, but it is important to be aware of these methods and make informed decisions about our participation in games of chance. Casinos are carefully designed to encourage continuous play, so we must be careful and set limits for ourselves.

I wouldn't say it's controversial, maybe they have consulted on professionals that deals with human behavior and what attracts them the most. That's why they have set up everything to a perfection. The table lay out, the colors, the lighting, everything is in perfect sync.

And even if we are aware of it, still we fell on that trap that's why this is how casinos makes money out of us. We are encourage to play and lose money, but then we feel that we are being entertained by them.
