I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?
In my opinion, crypto casinos are not operated by targeting people of any particular country or age. It is almost open to everyone but in some cases preferred over 18s, depending on the casino establishment. However, most casinos do not target a specific country, because they know that to operate a casino, they have to operate globally, otherwise the organization may face losses.
Crypto is something to be used with complete privacy, so cryptocasinos can be used by anyone, anywhere and by any age. However, as different casino sites use different types of licenses and have different site rules, some may have age restrictions, but it's hard to say how many people adhere to these age restrictions. Although 18 years is considered an adult age, young people below this age are also constantly gambling. So I don't see any age limitation in gambling or the proper steps to that limitation
The fact that the crypto casinos are paying several individuals who are influencers of many outlets which includes social media, websites, big platforms like Google, Facebook, Ticktok, X and many more, they can be exonerated in this. This is because they do not know how the platforms and the influencers they paid are propagating their information in most cases. All that matters is for them to get the work done. These platforms and individuals that want continued patronage by paying casinos may go to any length to make sure that more audience receives their adverts, and through this, the underage may be privy to it as well.
For this, naturally, responsible crypto casinos will not target the underage population, but I do not think that they can avoid that due to the huge amounts they are paying for marketing. It is now left to the underage to do the right thing because as underage which is below 18 and 21 years of age depending on the country, they should know their limits. At that age, they should avoid gambling entirely, but still, some of them would open an account, and lie about their age. So, I don't know the fault of the crypto casinos here. It becomes their fault if they plainly detected that an underage person opened an account but turned a blind eye to it.
