I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?

Nobody feels good when they lose money especially when the amount involve is huge. It is normal that you feel bad and if you happen to be scammed, it is more difficult to get over. In your case, it appears you invested in a ponzi . Always be suspicious when the business you plan to invest in is promising mouth watering benefit than usual. There are different of such kind of business that people are expressing regret. Also when you are investing in cryptocurrency, don't focus on cheap price but go for coins that have been successful over the years like bitcoin.
yeah that's right. Everyone will certainly experience sadness and regret that is quite heavy when they have to lose money due to being deceived or because of other things. But we must take lessons from the events that have occurred. so be more careful in the future. and we also need to study the types of fraud that are frequent these days. Ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes are types of fraud that have been trending for a long time. but unfortunately there are still many who are deceived by this type of fraud. This happens due to the lack of knowledge and education about it.

Greed leads to loss of money is a very normal thing, you should accept the truth because of your greed. No one likes to lose money, but that's life, it's never what we expect. Sometimes it will be a good thing because, in the end, it helps you realize bitcoin is the only investment you should be in. Stay away from the so-called high returns or get rich quick from such projects.

yes of course even I'm sure almost everyone is like that, but it's up to ourselves to make this a lesson to be even better in the future.
if the mistakes that occur are turned into regrets that drag on then it won't change anything from that but somehow we have to be able to change that so we can get back up and take advantage.

At first, I knew Bitcoin was almost the same as you, I experienced a lot of losses when I didn't have knowledge and only had an obsession to multiply my money in Crypto trading but the losses I got so I finally learned a lot of things to change my situation and take profits again. of what I have lost.
I think almost everyone has experienced losses when trading, even though what they trade is Bitcoin. But everyone also doesn't need to be sorry for this if it happens because he himself doesn't have more knowledge. Because this can also be used as a lesson for themselves when they still want to get up and be even better than before. Regret will certainly be felt when you experience a loss, but too much regret is also very bad because it can also make a person's mental down.

Not just with trading, I'm pretty sure 99.99% of investors in crypto have experienced a loss. Apart from the early adopters of Bitcoin who bought it and forgot about it for years are probably the only ones who didn't lose. For the rest, those who enter this market for profit will suffer losses a few times, and this is entirely normal. As a newbie, we will not be able to avoid the temptation of huge profits from scam projects and trading...No one succeeds the first time, we need lessons, experiences...and to get those things, we have to pay the price for it.

One more thing to remember is that profit is not the only thing that matters in life. I went to the doctor recently and learned about a scary thing, I am going to live and survive thankfully but I will have to be more careful from now on, I can't live life like I used to. Which allowed me to understand many things, like not be upset anymore. If I see something that upsets me, if I can avoid it then I do, like I used to hang around in twitter and that pissed me off so much, not going into twitter anymore, nor about trading upsets neither. I just ignore them, it doesn't matter, life is much more valuable than a trading loss, that comes and goes, life is singular and you have just one shot at it, and I do not want to spend any of it being upset if I can.

After reading your statements, it does not look like a business because in business you just do not give your money to others to manipulate it to get returns for you. In business, you are the one that controls it at first and when you grew you hire other people to do work for you. What I think is, you just invested your money in a company that promised you to return higher money with profits in less time and you fell for it (no offense just stating facts).

I can understand your feelings to some extent because recently a company in my country known as "IDA" which promises to return high profits on small investments, it's like a pyramid scheme in which you have to bring more people in and make them invest more money from which you will earn a little commission and boom you can become a millionaire over days.

Now this company is gone, it's like the event of the previous week, many peoples in my society fell for it and invested there hell a lot of money in it, One thing that I do not understand about my fellow citizens that why they always fell for these schemes because they also fell for the same scheme with same mechanisms back in Covid.

Actually, only a few people get benefits out of these schemes and the ones like you at the end of their campaign are left behind with no profits. Overall, i never felt for these opportunities, whenever i found one i do not even listen to them because i know how it will end for me and for my family. Because once you heard the scheme your heart will force you to invest money and you will also think about what could go wrong even if i lost your money while i have other opportunities that i can avail with that money. So, i go for them.

Some days looks like a curse day, I wanted to keep it to myself but I felt it more reasonable to share. I involved in some business investment which initially the promise was really good after week of deal, I just back from work, I saw a call from my colleague we did the business together and I call back to hear him crying on phone. That the business we involved into is fake and the office is close, the MD has disappeared, for two minutes I was shivering with sweat because that's the highest amount I have involved business so far. Am regretting to have used in bitcoin by now I would have be on advantage with bullish price.

When you are trying yourself to get involved on things which do pertains about investment then it would really be that needing that extreme and indepth research. Would you mind on telling on what kind of business that you've been dealing with? If not then its just fine. We know that investments doesnt really always end up to be profitable specially on local or physical investment.
When losing money then human beings do shares a common reaction which you would really be that angry, regret, disappointment and whatsoever
correlating to this which it would be normal. Therefore, these things would be the learning steps for us to be wise on next time.

The feeling depends on how money is spent.  If I lose money due to negligence then I would feel regrettable.  If I lose money because I trusted it to someone for investment then I feel dumb and remorseful that I should have spent that money for my family instead due to greed I wasted it to some scam company.

Anyway, every bad experience should be a lesson for us, we should not dwell on it but instead learn from it and move on.  I do experience the same thing @OP stated but I just shrugged it of, laugh and move on.  Part of the mistake is from me anyway so blaming other people because of our greed is the last thing to do.  Learn and move on no matter how we hurt from the experience.

When you lose money, it's important not to get discouraged or depressed for too long. After all, if you're in that state, you can't start over (and you should). You need to learn lessons, to realize that you paid for something bad that could have happened to you if you had kept the money.

This is why we need to do our own research when we are investing in a business proposition.  Trusting a friend is not enough when it comes to financial transactions.  It even causes a rift in the relationship between the two people.  So it is wise to do a separate research and not just jump into investment because of the trust involved.  Often than not, those whom we trusted often breaks our trust and exploit us for many things.

I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?

I have experience investing in my friend's business, the business is thriving and yet he did not give me the promised shares from profit.  Until I got enough and asked him to refund my investment.  I even asked him to pay in installments for a year or two until my money is back but instead of replying back, he put me on ignore.  Grin.  Though it is frustrating I decided to think of it as a loss and move on.

Everyone feels down at such circumstances. We've come across lots and lots of similar investment schemes around the world. To profit out of these schemes we should know how to convince people and join under you. I'm not sure about the business in which OP have invested. Most of the business happening around these days were the pyramid scheme. The top management will earn and runs away. Take it a learning, atleast then onwards have better understanding and invest than thinking of the profit promised out of the business.

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, there are plenty of fake or Ponzi-style so-called investment platforms offering great results in a short time period. Shit happens, but you learned your lesson and you'll be more cautious next time. More or less, it has happened to all of us. It's completely understandable to blame yourself, but try not to stress about it too much; it'll drain you. I've also lost money on Luna, UST to be exact, through stablecoin staking, and I've also messed up multiple times when trading or selling Bitcoin too early. If I sum up all the mistakes and money that I could have made now, I'll go insane.

It seems like you have lost something that is valuable to you, even though the value is not exactly the same, what is certain is that a feeling of disappointment and sadness will be present when you lose your money. maybe a feeling of disappointment will be present when you lose money where the money is very important for you to use, for example you will use the money to make payments in the form of transactions that you think are very important, and I think this is reasonable. but the feelings and point of view of a person seems to be different.

Of course, yes, and I think that it is normal. I felt so frustrated of being losing my money due to very too late taking profits and being too greedy until getting nothing. Additionally, the mistakes happened not only once. Losing money really hurt, this is not denying.
But, how long we will be frustrated after losing? this is the matter. If we continue to fall under these conditions and don't get up again with various lessons from this bitter experience, then that means we are losing more and more. Because frustrated will not return our money. The only way is to get up again, and make this a lesson, even though it's difficult but it has to be done. Not only that but moving on from feeling frustrated due to losing much money is something that must be done so that we can make a profit and at least be able to cover previous losses.

I think there has to be something wrong with you, if you do not feel anything ...when you lose money on a business deal. I have participated in many Ponzi schemes before, but I went into it with open eyes... knowing that I could lose all of my money. (Ponzi schemes are legal here... well sort of..)

It is never nice to lose money, but you have to take some risk to get some huge rewards. Bitcoin is a high risk investment, so you have to go into it with an open mind and never invest more than what you can afford.  Wink

Losing money has never been pleasant mostly when the work put in to earn the income is tudious or hard.
The one that pains in particular is constant debit from banks via SMS or email or any other means used in receiving notifications alert.
I have lost money recently from wrong transfer to a an account that I failed to confirm properly and the pain of such loss cost me sleepless night.
I just understand your plight and I know how uneasy and edgy one can feel after losing such funds.

Hopefully that bad day won't happen again to you guys. Regret and disappointment for sure, but don't let that make you give up and leave the investment. We can take lessons from all the events that we experience, even though it is something we don't want. You are not the only one who has experienced something like this, not a few people have had the same experience as you, so let it be a valuable lesson for the future.
Regretting it continuously is also useless, even when we do that it will make us worse off because we keep thinking about loss. Forget that and let's do better for the future, there is no event that doesn't have a valuable lesson in it. Keep it up!

I have not gotten myself this day. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happen to you?

Life is the name of ups and downs, According to Human phycology money is everything and this is correct on the limit of some level (70%). Personally, I don't have such a big amount of money but whatever I have earned until now if I lose even 10% of it I will regret it and recover back. Obviously, that time is gonna hard for me but this time from recovering the money there is another precious thing called experience hmm. I remember I was in Class 9th Standard (High School) and there was a joint bank account of my parents a few days ago my father sent our monthly expenses funds, I was holding the ATM card, and for some reason, I withdraw some money and a random scammer tarped me with his tricks and replaced my card I didn't notice after 2 days all the amount was withdrawn from the account and my father asked why you've withdrawn all funds at once then I realized that I have been scammed, I tried to recover but unfortunate.

After that time buddy, I can assure you no one can trick me into an ATM now hahaha I use 200% safety measures before withdrawing cash to make sure the security and privacy of my funds &  PIN. So that was a huge amount at that time even still it's a decent amount for me which gave me a life-changing lesson.
