Most people have that feeling, and I call it greed and fear because we don't want to lose money, but we want to build our dreams. Life doesn't work like that, if you want to succeed and want to have things that other people don't have, you need to take risks and step out of your comfort zone. I don't think anyone would not feel down when met with such circumstances. It's also why it's advised to only invest what you can actually afford to lose. It's usually hard at the start, especially if you consider it's the first time you lost money due to someone else scamming you, but as you invest more, regardless of the reason for the investment dropping out (being scammed/business just fell down due to being bad), you'd be able to get over it faster. I just shake it off and move on because life continues, we don't have to regret any decisions we take. We just have to be a man or woman and move on because life itself is a risk so we have to keep on taking risk until we have gotten the life we deserve for ourselves.
