Your best and easiest choice would be find a popular web hosting company like A2hosting or hostinger, many of them provide one-click deployment packages for Wordpress website. Wordpress provides pretty much everything a typical website needs. You'll set up a functional website in an hour and don't even need coding.

What do you guys think?
Should I hire a professional website designer for such a website?
What are some recommended website design tools?

It is fine to use platforms that lets you create with existing templates and gives you enough space and features to modify it, especially for a startup-project. For you to find what web builder you think you can be fond of, better read this - https://www.websitetooltester.com/en/blog/best-free-website-builders/

If you were just starting and wanted to illustrate your ideas for your future project, better use Figma[1] and/or Adobe XD[2]. Figma is my personal favorite and would be good for you if you want a free yet powerful web UI/UX designer. It even has tons of plugins from various vector platforms such as Icons8, Freepik, etc. And on the other hand, Adobe XD, from Adobe Creative Cloud, does have a monthly premium subscription, which is good if you were onto more extensive and in-depth designing.

Nowadays, you can make quite professional websites with WordPress. There are some templates, some for free and some others for sale, already designed so you only have to arrange the layout as you wish, change colours and images, and there you go. One of the most popular is Divi by ElegantThemes.

You don't need to know programming to build a beautiful and responsive website, but you have got plenty of plugins and add-ons that you can use, and you can even insert your own code if you wish, where available. You can make them for free also, or paying for your own domain.

You could use a site like Squarespace to create a simple template website. They have implementations that allow you to add custom HTML code if you want to add something different. It's only like $30 a month or so if you want to pay monthly without locking into a year deal.

You could pay someone as well if you want it to look more professional, but for a simple project the templates should be fine.

I want to create a simple website for my crypto-related startup project. I know the basics of HTML and CSS code, but I've never created a web site before. What I want is a simple but professional looking responsive design with simple navigation.

Please note, my time spent on this project is not a problem, there are no deadlines.
