Hmmm. Note that you don't have to be great at the start, in fact, it's normal to be that way. Take it one step at a time.

You may also feel like you have to teach others every time but that's incorrect as you could always ask people something you're curious about and start an engaging conversation which is what the forum is for, however do be careful of creating redundant threads.
Members who have higher ranks in the forum were once newbies too so they really understand about how you feel. And yes, do not push yourself to be great, as everyone started with less knowledge and less experience in the forum. As long as you take every chances to learn and understand in every topic that interests you, remember you’ll be great and become highly significant poster in the future. Just be active and engage in the forum’s conversation, surely you’ll be well knowledgeable later on.

Usually is not that possible to engage everyone here but you can glance through their post and topic that has been created already. I know the forum is too large for one to start and it requires you to devote your time. If you don't mind it may start from the bitcoin website and then followed by other resourceful material other users have shared here already.

If you try to search for some good old threads here, you will also find a lot worth reading. There are also new ones, although it is getting harder to separate the wheat from the chaff lately.

For starter, you seems to have good command of English, (it's not my first language) so I guess that will be a good start for you. And if you are not comfortable though, you might look for your local boards and then you can start it from there.

You can also start by reading the rules here, Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

As others have said, used the search function first as the questions that you may be thinking of asking has been asked before,

Here are a couple of threads that might help you out.

Yes, as bitcoin is global, you will find diversity hear, we even have local boards for different nationalities but it doesn't mean that you can't learn or even partake in the discussions.

Not everyone here are knowledgeable, it will take some time for us to fully grasp everything. So think of it as a journey, and even if you are a newbie you can still learn a lot from the beginning. It might be better though for you to read and go through thousands of pages of knowledge here and then ask if you don't understanding something.

One best thing is to learn to read, and analyze first before you post.  You may also need the help of the search function so that you can avoid duplicate topics and instead participate in the existing discussion of the said topic.  Learn to know the forum rules and avoid things that are prohibited.  Pretty much, it is not difficult to interact in this forum.

if you want to make money in the bull market that is coming.

While Twitter is an excellent place to find recent bitcoin and altcoin news,

ololajulo, the OP is not seeking investment advice or a platform from which he can get crypto information, by the way here is a good start for OP. And by the way, what makes Twitter the best place to get information about cryptocurrency? Twitter can make a newbie prone to falling victim to scammers.

You cannot talk intellectually about a subject that you have little knowledge about, to be able to engage intellectually with other forum members you have to improve on yourself, you  have to possess a level of knowledge by committing to reading, researching before you can have content to intellectually engage other forum members and it the process learn more. Do not be in a hurry to engage other forum members without any good knowledge so you will not be labelled a shitposter that will be ignored by many.

It's simple. Engage in discussions and ask questions, but also be prepared to listen and learn from others. Don't be afraid to share your own experiences and opinions as well. There are plenty of knowledgeable people here who can help you out. I would also suggest reading up on some basic resources on bitcoin before jumping into discussions. This will help you have a better understanding of the topic and ask more informed questions.
