hahaha. sometimes I also think like you and I think I like crazy people who expect prices like price of ico. maybe price will reach like price of ico in a very long time and that will happen if project continues to grow

More the mean time, not all are achieving the price of the ICO upon listed on the exchange, what I mean is that, there is no need to achieve if in the first place the market price of the particular token is the ICO price exactly when it was listed. Though not all like these, but the project that protects their cryptocurrency will do the same way to avoid it getting dumped. They are setting it and lock the price so people cannot sell below the ICO price.

In my case, I dont usually sell the token if the initial value when it hits exchanges is way below the ICO price, I probably wait before selling and keep eth

I simply do not sell the received tokens in the hope of their growth in the future. And then how it will grow will grow so it will not grow so it will not grow what can you do.

Getting a gift token is indeed a good thing because we as bounty hunters have worked for months to promote the ICO project. And when you get tokens and enter the market, prices continue to decline. This is something that not everyone likes. But you also have to be patient because if the token has potential, the price will definitely rise again.

After working on a bounty and get the tokens I think if the amount is worthy to my work if so then I always change it to ETH/BTC and hold it.

If tokens cost at least a hundred dollars, then I am glad that I did a bounty program. And if a couple of dollars is bad.

Back when I was still joining some bounty I would just move on when the bounty is a scam or the price of my reward is so low.
I would just keep doing what I do and ignore it who know's maybe someday they will give me a huge profit.

If your project is listed on the stock exchange then you are lucky and you can get your good reward. But very often it happens that you can not wait for this moment and you will only useless wrappers. Therefore, sell your tokens immediately on the exchange.

I do not consider the price of the tokens which I receiving from any bounty company, it makes no sense to count the price at the ICO price, because when any token will be traded on any exchange, the price will be different all the time, so I don’t even bother about it very much.
True, the token that you received from the bounty is always under price from original ICO price. Especially after the token listed on an exchange, the price will be fall hard. If the project of the coin is good then the price can increase in the future, the problem is if the project is bad, then it will be no hope.

we cannot predict its value. ICO projects are now often considered garbage and founders also do not want to develop their tokens.
we should not expect too much on those ICO projects. Currently bounties are dead and we seem to have very low wages.

There is no wrong in advance calculation with your hard earned tokens but as the current market right now. There are only very few project that can surely maintain their ICO price once it reach to any exchange.

But many were disappointed if you will calculate the tokens using the ICO price as most of the coin/token will decrease it's price once it reach to any exchange. But as the current price now, you will surely earn a good amount of money once the price will bounce back again.

Fortunately, the coin is received from the bounty, which is also his own salary. You can look at the price, whether it is satisfactory, whether the project is reliable, and whether it is worth holding for a long time.

In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low.
So, how do you console yourself?

I first:
I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price.
As a result, I received the corresponding ETH.
I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha!

For example:
I received 1000 ABC token.
ABC token ico price: 0.2$
Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$
Current ETH price: 150$
So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E
If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$. Smiley)

I don't do that I always treat the coin I received from the bounty or airdrops based on the current market price because that is the realistic value of the coin, but if you have the patient to wait then you can hodl it and sell it at your desired value, but treat the price on it's current price.

I don't need to console myself. Accepting that the coin could not really make it to the top immediately is part of bounty hunting but it would be a great bonus for you if it did go up. Some people got angry and mad about prices such that they would blame the developer and the team for the failure. The market for new coins is really unpredictable and you don't need to be angry. It must be a part of the things that should or could happen. Accept reality and forget pain and hardship because the moment you decide to promote something, you already know anything could happen.

The time has come for these good projects to hold ico. Many business projects really work or are going to benefit the community. And for such ico there is a great demand. The coin is very good in price and your profit increases. There are many examples of successful project launches. If you find such a project and make an investment at an early stage, you will secure an excellent profit.

It would have been a great deal, if the ICO price remains consistent or the value increases after listing, this would make bounty hunting very lucrative. But as it stands, the value drops above 89% after listing, making the tokens worthless. Most bounty hunters are now eternal hodlers of bounty tokens. Its quite unfortunate.
