In this difficult market, the value of tokens is reduced very low.
So, how do you console yourself?
I first:
I calculated the number of tokens I received, then multiplied by the ICO price, followed by multiplying it by the current ETH price.
As a result, I received the corresponding ETH.
I took the ETH multiplied peak rates ($1500- 2017) And I told myself if ETH peaks (2017), I will get a lot of $. Haha!
For example:
I received 1000 ABC token.
ABC token ico price: 0.2$
Total received: 1000 * 0.2$ = 200$
Current ETH price: 150$
So I will receive: 200/150 = 1.33E
If ETH = $1500 is like 2017, I will have 2000$.

)Bounty budgets are tough, because a lot of factors influence them. And the bear market is probably the biggest one. With time and experience in the field, you will start to get reasonable and accurate expectations.

If I were in your shoes, I would be very much happy to sell my received tokens and will also buy one ethereum right away with that dip price, too. Then the other $50 remaining, I would buy some cheap altcoins that I will trade. If you immediately sell your reward tokens when the price is still high, then it is good. The scenario usually after the ICO sale, price will dump and that will affect your plan if ever.

I will be happy if I can make many tokens and coins from bounties and if I make any tokens from bounties I will hold them till bitcoin surge in price for maximum profits ,I will just advice people not to join worthless bounties to avoid wasting there time

For the bounty hunters, whatever the outcome of the price of your token gained from joining bounty campaign just be happy with it, remember only few are serious on giving what the hunters deserve most of the time bounty campaigns leads to a scam one.

The spirit of 'not enough' is always present in my thoughts and I always based on present value not ICO value unless the bounty I joined is a very promising one that stands out among the rest because the fact is not all bounties you participate in and received tokens will survive in few years they may not so keep working and don't rely on your rewards

Many project lost because of the Ethereum price. Usually projects uses the ethereum platform for their coins and sell the coins in ETH or BTC. So we can say that the ETH price went from $1350 to $85 (between 2018 January-2019 January) and that would mean the projects lost like 1/12 value. I think that was the main reason that we all lost.. I used to have greatm ammounts of bounty tokens and i ccould exchanged them with really high price but that was in 2016 and 2017, not anymore..

I am just counting the tokens value on the ICO price and hope that within some time they are going to reach that number, because almost all tokens are getting dumped at the beginning and are recovering after several months.

Well, its normal already because investors want to bag some profit so they are selling their tokens as the token is being listed on exchanges. Even I will sell my bought tokens if it is listed on the exchange because I want to bag some profit and that is what investors do, to get profit that is why they are investing their money. after that the value is not the same like the price from ico

That is a great way for us to entertain ourselves by counting and assuming if the price can reach the highest price like in 2017. And I personally, when I receive a token, I will sell it when the token is listing in exchange and then the proceeds from the sale will be invested in a coin that I think has great potential.So, how do you console yourself?

for now I rarely get paid from a bounty campaign, if paid usually I only get tokens that cannot be traded and that is very sad for me, I hope that there are strict rules for the ICO that can be published so that the available bounties also produce quality programs and of course the prizes.

Interesting subject. Exactly we bounty hunters do the same things you have mentioned I think. And it is natural for bounty hunters to calculate their hard work and become happy with it. There will a happy moment when bounty hunters receive tokens given in reward. Nowadays, the market is struggling with fake ICOs which cheat potential investors and bounty hunters, let alone allocating tokens to bounty hunters. So receiving bounty tokens is a great jolly moment. I also do calculate prices of coins I have received from bounty campaigns.

I try to relate whatever I have or that I receive as a reward with the present price on market and not depend on the ICO price.
Most times, when tokens are newly listed on exchange, they tend to fall below the ICO price.

Now there are a lot of fraudulent projects. Therefore, to receive coins, it is already happiness. The price very quickly falls on the stock exchange, so I think that it is better to keep everything now and not sell anything!
You should always rebalance your portfolio. If you think a coin is bad, sell it and if you think it is good then keep it.
It can though give you a feeling what some people are up to in the market. But it would be stupid to base your whole decision on that.

interesting calculations but all you need is to wait until the ETH price will go up. and that may not happen very soon.
