People need to realize already that Satoshi had more than just that one giant wallet.  You don't think he had plenty of others? It would have been very easy for him to have opened countless wallets privately where no one would have had any clue who was behind them, and he could be just as easily buying and selling all the time to this day.  If he wanted the coins off that wallet, if he's alive, he'd have already done so.  If he ever does move them, it'll be an amount under the right circumstances that doesn't hurt it creation which has become far bigger than I image he ever imagined.  It would be great if he came back to help work on bitcoin, but I doubt we ever hear form him/her/they again.

I just saw this on my news feed. Though I know it's been edited. But we all know that satoshi is a feeling and emotion for us. And if he comes back, it will be a great feeling, but on the other hand, it is also scary. Because people say if he comes back and starts to sell his holdings, the bitcoin price will be dumped brutally. That is why I am scared too.

What would be your feelings if this happened?

Yes it is April Pools event and surely it is edited but sometimes post like this gives us small hope that Satoshi might one day will come back here for us. so lets not become KillJoy instead lets enjoy the thread with the hope of Satoshi really made that post and not just editor  Grin

But what would i Feel? of course that would be the Happiest day of my crypto career, knowing that he is still alive and wanted to Update us all here.

Do you believe Satoshi will do it? No, mate. Satoshi won't kill us, he should have no intention to sell his holdings and make the whole Bitcoin industry be in danger. He must be aware that selling his holdings to make all Bitcoin holders be worried, he won't announce to anyone that he is back or selling everything about his holdings. So, whenever you saw people make FUDs about Satoshi, trust me that 100% fake. He is BTC creator, he won't destroy what he has created.

He has a reason to be afraid though. The loss would be devastating to BTC holders if that happens.
But some are more afraid that he is going to be caught by authorities and will be considered an outlaw like Assange and authorities will have access to the codes. This will be more devastating than price taking a nosedive.

So far this tweet is an April fool joke but it's something of a conversation starter, I've heard this once from a youtube podcast.

Probably it would be a lot uncertainty to the whole crypto world because many people would be scared that he could start to sell his bitcoins. And if bitcoin suffers, the whole crypto ecosystem suffers as well. I don't really see any reason for Satoshi to show up again, it's clear why he chose to disappear.

In my opinion there are zero chances he is coming back. What he should done has been already done by him before disappearing: mission accomplished!

But just for speculative purposes, let's say Satoshi came back, revealed and proved his identity. We would see every news vehicles reporting it, several businessmen, governments and celebrities approaching him for partnetships and also a lot of FUD among investors regards the future of bitcoin's value and adoption, although I risk saying bitcoin wouldn't be affected negatively anyway since Satoshi kept his wallet and the fortune inside untouched.

The curiosity to find out who is the genius who created Bitcoin and this big world of cryptocurrencies is huge. However, the fear of what panic this would cause on the market is even greater. These two feelings are still beating inside me.
I also try to imagine a scenario where satoshi comes back and just "burns" all of its Bitcoin. Perhaps this is the best option.

I do not think this is real. Why do this on April 1st if it was real? It would immediately make people question the veracity of the claims. And I think some further proof than such a post is necessary, for people to believe that Satoshi Nakamoto is back.
Why post it on April 1st? Of course that’s because it is not real. It is clear that this is not something real, because the Twitter post already made it clear. And the op also said it is not real. And even without anyone telling me that this is not real, I am not going to believe it because I already know that it is not. If Satoshi really came back, it would have been a big news, and you wouldn’t even need anyone to make a post on the forum here before you would start seeing news about it. It is going to be a big news that would be all over the Internet.

Whether he is back or not, I don’t think it will affect how the bitcoin has already been programmed and being mined currently. It will always be the way it is for several years to come when all of it will be mined. Before he left, some email relating to him that was received read “the future of bitcoin is in safe hands”. So bitcoin is safe and good to go.

This week is kind of an April Fools week so do not trust anyone at this time of week.
I would have felt like it was a coincidence and everything would be unpredictable in the bitcoin community if satoshi randomly appear to be online.

The worst mistake of Satoshi Nakamoto could do is to return to Bitcoin development. He does not need to return because we are all Satoshis. I have read where it was said that if Satoshi returns, his influence will affect the bitcoin growth and that is true. To maintain the anonymous pseudonymous nature of bitcoin, bitcoin creator need to be anonymous.
Which wallet is Satoshi holding his over 1 million bitcoin, please I want to check it up.

I couldn't care less about Satoshi return. Who would believe this just based on a forum post that could be hacked or whatever? The only way of believing that, and even so it could be a few other things, would be his coins moving around! That's all.

And even if his coins ever move around, what's the deal with it? If he is the inventor of Bitcoin, I'm pretty sure he understands how important is to hodl Bitcoin and not sell it. Or in the best option, spend it, like trade for a good or a service or such, not sell for fiat! That would be a joke, tbh. To have invented the greats human revolution of all times to avoid fiat and in the end sell the coins for fiat!

Conclusion, the 80-90% is always wrong...

More than 15% of Americans are unsure that the Earth is round, and more than 2% firmly believe it is flat.
More than 9% of Americans said they believe global warming does not exist, and more than 30% believe it is a natural phenomenon.
More than 30% of Americans believe that the United States is "the greatest country in the world."

Conclusion, you're an idiot.  Grin

I understand that this is a screenshot of an edited post. But give me an answer, if you type Satoshi in Google, why does this guy's picture show? What is the science behind this Grin? We know that Satoshi Nakamoto is a disguised man Roll Eyes.

1. Because Dorian Nakamoto(the dude in the screenshot) has been one of the biggest rumours in the past concerning Satoshi's real identity.
2. Because there's no real face of Satoshi to show in the first place, so Google's algorithm scrapes for the 2nd with the highest user attention. (Google's algorithm doesn't have a 100% hit rate and gets stuff wrong from time to time)

Satoshi won't come back, I certainly won't. With his reappearance this is not necessarily a good thing, instead of it bringing glory to him he will be in more trouble. While bitcoin is falling out of favor with national governments as it threatens their traditional financial system. His return will leave him hunted and tortured rather than glorified, he has chosen to remain silent for many years, which is perfectly reasonable and should be kept that way.

I Am Satoshi Nakamoto

There are so many satoshi, which one do you want to come back ?  Faketoshi or the real Satoshi ?  Why you people are too much thinking about Satoshi ?  Satoshi is just my pseudonym. I used it just to post the message, comments and to publish the E- Cash Paper. Satoshi Nakamoto is actually an Artificial Super Intelegence (ASI). I designed it just to launch the Bitcoin project. After finishing the project, the robot Satoshi Nakamoto has travelled to Nibiru. He has just contacted me last month. I am wondering about my other mission which is more complex than Bitcoin and Blockchain and thinking if whether Satoshi is doing  my job correctly ?

You people are just human. We are not human. We have come from your future. We are time travellers. We are three in One.  This is the fact, I am Satoshi Nakamoto, I am not alone, I have a twin Brother and a Grand Father. You human won't understand my language. If you really want to know who invented Bitcoin ?  Then please listen. I am Moses, I am Satoshi Nakamoto. Now, don't just shout, '  sign the message !
Sign the message ! Like those greedy Bitcoin Gremlins. If you want me to give evidence then request me and I will give you evidence. Question arise, First, why do I have to give evidence ? To who do I have to give evidence ?  For what reason do I have to give evidence ?  Do I owe you anything that I have to give you evidence ?  How do you want me to give evidence ? Is it according to your criteria ?  Who the boss are you that I have to give you evidence ?  Is this not enough that thousands of multimedia reporters have failed to out just one single man who invented the bloody Bitcoin and Blockchain ?  What is your opinion on this ?  Do you think the governments' secret service agents are stupid that they do not know who is Satoshi Nakamoto ?  You must be joking creating so many thread about Satoshi Nakamoto just a pseudonym that I have used to launch my Bitcoin and Blockchain project in 2009. After a decade you people have no clues at all. I must say not you all are blind sheeps. Wake up men. I am visible but unseen. Even now I give complete evidence, you all or few will say, this man is just a computer hacker. Who has hacked  into Satoshi's account etc. So and so. Please stop this types of nonsense.

If you are genuinely interested to know the mysterious Bitcoin invention story then you can PM me and I will give the true story or further evidences to satisfy your curiosity. It does cost a lots of times and energy and efforts to reveal my identity. Does it worth it ? Ok, you organise an event, and invite all those Satoshi candidates, and I will attend the conference and I will recreate the Genesis  Block or I will rehash the Genesis block hash with ASM SAH-256. But the problem is the Bitcoin community leaders do not want me to reveal my identity. They are stopping me to reveal my identity. They absolutely greedy gremlins. They must leave me alone. Now, if you are serious about this matter then PM me for further discussion. Or leave me alone and make money out of the Bitcoin business and enjoy yourself eating prawn  cocktail and get druck with Champaign and commit crimes and become good neighbour of Ross Albrickt.

It is possible that Satoshi disappeared on purpose so as not to influence in any way the development and price of his main brainchild in the future. The bitcoin ecosystem is highly dependent on his words and everyone can perceive it in their own way and start manipulating it. For many, Satoshi is a legend and is the subject of various theories and assumptions. Satoshi has long been associated with a certain mystique, mystification and more. His return would immediately ruin all that effect. But there is also the opinion that he has long been dead.

I think the whole "Satoshi Story" is a created Pink Unicorn Story...

More then 80% is always wrong about about the "real thing"

80%+ of the people don't get the real story about the "Ukrain-Russia War"
80%+ of the people believe in the Covid-19 extreme death virus
80%+ of the people believe in God
80%+ of the people believe CO2 is bad for the world and plants
90% here on Bitcointalk thinks Satoshi came here to save the world from the Big Bad Banking Aristocracy, Corporatism, Multinationalism System to create something new...

Conclusion, the 80-90% is always wrong...

Satoshi is a Tale and keep people searching for the truth Wink

You cannot beat the system, join it...

What if -Satoshi- is the smallest number in the base layer of the -System- Huh

At first, the source or the link you found your post or you made your research from, is supposed to be attach to your imagine to verify if that comment is really from Satoshi profile or not. Personally, i don't think Satoshi Nakamoto will come back to the community again, what Satoshi did in cryptocurrency is a legacy, so Satoshi been hidden, is only thing that made bitcoin to valuable, because Satoshi finally surface, i think they will be alot off questioning and mainly the secret of bitcoin will be review.

The post is edited not a legit one. But if he's back, I would be more than happy knowing that the creator is still alive and just watching the overwhelming progress of his creation in the past years. Just knowing that he's alive today is more than enough for me. Because it means, he is seeing the fruit of his creation. And in case, he can still influence the continuous development of bitcoin.
