At first, the source or the link you found your post or you made your research from, is supposed to be attach to your imagine to verify if that comment is really from Satoshi profile or not. Personally, i don't think Satoshi Nakamoto will come back to the community again, what Satoshi did in cryptocurrency is a legacy, so Satoshi been hidden, is only thing that made bitcoin to valuable, because Satoshi finally surface, i think they will be alot off questioning and mainly the secret of bitcoin will be review.

I just saw this on my news feed. Though I know it's been edited. But we all know that satoshi is a feeling and emotion for us. And if he comes back, it will be a great feeling, but on the other hand, it is also scary. Because people say if he comes back and starts to sell his holdings, the bitcoin price will be dumped brutally. That is why I am scared too.

What would be your feelings if this happened?

I don't think Satoshi is a person. It is an organization. They have gone unnoticed in order to gain people's trust in cryptocurrency.
I don't think they will ever return. But even if they do come back, I think it's time for them to make a profit. I greet them and if they want to take profit from their holding I think they deserve it.
^ Lol, just thinking about the April Fools day that probably was extended until now.
There is nothing satoshi do if he/they will come back, BTC price is on different hands and different holders so there is nothing we can do about the price. If satoshi will come back, for sure he will not sign in to the BTC address that belongs to him because it will no longer be accessed.
Nevertheless, for the sake of the privacy of his creation, satoshi should not come back and publicly announce to the people, for sure his life will be put in danger if he/they will do that.

I wouldn't worry about him selling his bitcoins. That would be one less hammer that could be struck to bitcoin as well. Sure the price would crash to kingdom come, but then we would be able to buy cheaper and then wait for it to recover. After that, we wouldn't have to be even scared of him coming back, he could continue to exists and we would still be not fearing since his money would be gone.

There is nothing in this world that could scare me off crypto, no government, no person, not even satoshi. I can see bad things that could happen to scare people for the short term, and I would be too, but in the long term it would be something fine and not a problem at all.

Of course I worry about his whereabouts that he will really be hunted by some opponents, some scam victims, or people who lose access to wallets (who don't accept loss). Actually, I don't have a problem even though satoshi appears and all the bitcoins, in fact I want to know how the emergence of bitcoin at a very cheap price. I will buy all of satoshi's.

I've also seen this tweet on my twitter wall, it's purely april fools and quite interesting. I will definitely feel he/she did something bad, if he/she did that and it wasn't just my trust that gone on Bitcoin, surely everyone would feel the same as me.

...But give me an answer, if you type Satoshi in Google, why does this guy's picture show?

Because that guy's name is actually Satoshi Nakamoto, more precisely "Dorian Prentice Satoshi Nakamoto". And, it may also be due to this 2014 Newsweek article.

This is a paradox in the context always, no matter how it is presented in the idea: it seems that if...this happens, it seems that no...this happens.

It's a strange idea or question, let's drop the subject, let's not behave strangely, it's sad that SN reads these things.  Smiley

If he reappears, I will be very disappointed, since the decentralization characteristic will become inaccurate if he decides to interfere with the protocol that he created from the start.

I don't quite understand why he needs to do this? From what I have already learned about bitcoin, it seems to me that the system works perfectly smoothly without him. And I'm sure that was his goal. Why should he even theoretically destroy it? If he wants to sell his bitcoins, he can do so at any time, as he could before. I don't think he intends to sell a lot at once, because he understands the consequences for the market.

If Satoshi comes back just to say hi and confirm being alive and well, I'd be happy to hear that. If Satoshi says 'hey, so I decided to come back to Bitcoin and take part in its further development', I'd be okay with it because it's certainly Satoshi's right to do so, but I think it would harm the decentralization of Bitcoin a bit because there'd be one person whose opinions matter more than opinions of other developers. And if some of Satoshi's coins move, I guess I'll be happy to see that access to them isn't lost and I'd treat it as proof that Satoshi is alive.

-snip- However, if such a thing happens, lots of people will thank him for his masterpiece since it changed lots of lives.
Some people will be grateful, but there will be many people who can put their lives at risk.
Bitcoin becomes a real mystery because the identity of the developer is unknown and this is a remarkable thing, because without knowing who the creator of bitcoin is, Bitcoin is able to become a valuable digital asset to this day.

Talking about the OP's post, it's all just edits to enliven April Fools Day.

I feel he will have no reason to show up again.  Bitcoin is in the perfect position the way he created it by allowing freedom since the initiative fills everything.  Bitcoin is representing a maximalist, liberal philosophy that means his presence is probably unnecessary.  I think he understood this because that was his intention when he left.  So I will also be disappointed when he actually shows up again.  Anyway, everything is clear

If he really wants to come back, he should have done it years ago but as we could see, it's his personal choice to keep his life in private. As for me, since he has done his part in creating a great currency, he wouldn't show up for no reason. However, if such a thing happens, lots of people will thank him for his masterpiece since it changed lots of lives.

I wonder how many dumb people would fall for this joke. Satoshi doesn't sound like a person that would say "I am back to bitcoin". Very badly edited and written. At least they should have given some effort if they really wanted to fool people. And yeah sure, saying "not an April fool joke" would make everyone believe that.
But if he does return, that would feel weird. People would start worshipping/following him as a leader while others would be annoyed.
Where is a link of that topic?
Where is a link of that news feed?

I am sure satoshi did not back on April Fool and if there is no link to that topic, it's more obviously that it is an April Fool Joke.
Maybe you should read the whole post before posting.

Why he needs to be back in bitcoin if he was the founder of it ? He already did what he wants and its all happening right now that the bitcoin or crypto currency that he made is one of the most valuable and high value crypto currency in the market thats why I don't really think that he will going back to bitcoin for what ? hahahaha!

No need to worry too much.  Because it was obviously a rudimentary work for April Fools' Day. Even when I was slightly surprised, I rushed to check his profile on bitcointalk.  And of course, nothing happened.  Either way, he understands that “absence” is better for bitcoin.

I'd be nervous as heck because almost whatever Satoshi says if ever he/she/they come/s back can be used in a negative light by mainstream media.

In the end, Satoshi shouldn't and wouldn't come back, which is good.

Pretty much this. If he came back, any word written or spoken by him would be misinterpreted by hundreds of journalists.
If he'd say his hobby is reading Harry Potter, they'd say he must be childish, probably addicted to computer games, living in a fantasy world, and must be transphobic because Rowling is transphobic, so the bitcoin community was established by a childish, transphobic, man who likes magic... It's better for Satoshi and for us if things stay as they are. I wouldn't want to be a celebrity in today's world.

After all this time, Satoshi is unlikely to return. To Satoshi, the Internet and a free society, was all he had ever wanted. In his absence, the Bitcoin world has developed as his wishes and expectations. The adoption of Bitcoin has grown exponentially with many start-up projects and Bitcoin related businesses emerging in many countries. There are many new entrepreneurs in this space and Bitcoin has even penetrated the mainstream media.

Satoshi will be proud of the community that has grown up around his creation.

That is one bad edit if it was used for April Fools well, I don't think it could even pass off as one tbf. I won't exactly feel anything really. The media would probably use everything satoshi would say for their own good, no doubt about that. I myself won't really care tbf, the market might shake early on (if he ever did sell the BTC he's holding) or heck, maybe even if he started doing market/trading stuff (which I doubt, he'd probably go off to develop more tbf), but hey I look at it in the long term. At the very least, I don't think him coming back would do anything "permanent" to the current state.
