For me i try to keep myself from spending by putting my cash on some unconvinient place in that way i always get lazy before buying things and this is useful because if i must buy important things the urge of buying is in there.

I dont know if it is just me or others also experience it. I always set goals financially, set limits in spending and trying hard to save but most of the time no matter how i tell myself to refrain from spending in unnecessary things whenever i see something i really like even if i dont need it i cant resist buying it that cause me to regret later. Are you familiar with this situation?

I already exprience this several times, while if you have more money left in your wallet or in your atm account you will buy anything you wanted to buy even though not needed to you, but when your wallet is in trouble or in few amount of money left this is the time that you can think that you are not a wise spender and you will regret it and sell it to your friends a thing that is not needed to you in lower price.

I think most of us have experienced this situation.Actually it is a human nature.people wants to the thing that he likes. So,sometimes we may spent money by buying unnecessary things. But you know what, when I earn money by working very hard, then I don't do this.Actually I can't.I want to respect my sweat.

Yes Im so familiar with this situation. I always tell myself not to buy important things but when I go to market and i see something I wanted I can't force myself not to buy.

Financial discipline will require you to avoid situations or environments where you are bombarded with temptations to buy junk that you do not need. If you have to go to the market or the Mall, then go prepared with a list of items that you have to buy. You get in and out of there much quicker and your exposure to aggressive marketing is much less.

I have previously worked in the retail environment and I can tell you that the marketing tactics are scientifically targeted to overload your senses and to stimulate you to buy impulsively.  Angry

Usually I take an analogue of an unnecessary thing, but it is much cheaper than the original so as not to spend large sums on it Smiley

I believe everyone of us were experienced and continue to experience it. Maybe we tend to do this kind of scene because of first, we know that we hold too much money so buying what we like but not necessary are always happening. If you wanna stop this or lessen it I advise that you should train your mind to always remember that buying those stuffs is not helpful. Also, you should have a strong self control. Asking yourself such as 'do I really need it ?' or 'Is this a necessary thing?' is a must because in this you will be able to determine what is your truly important things to buy. Remember that earning money is hard so spend your earnings wisely.

The more producer the more big urge to buy what we want to, that's natural, you must have more big urge tp avoid a little expulsion. For example, this year you want to buy house so you have to try hard to not wasful of course.

And you have to with principle, "buy because need" not just because you want it.

I do avoiding it by not doing unnecessary things. It depends on us how we will handle our time to make you happy. But i spend my time to an important things such as working here in bitcoin because it's so helpful and useful to me especially to my daily finances and save it for the near future.

imo it is a fine line between enjoying your money and spending more then you can afford. first of all you should ask yourself the question if you really need what you want to buy. after that even if you think you want it still wait at least 2 weeks , if you still want it buy it but a lot of the time you are probably already over that thing.

That is a bad habit and like any bad habits you need to make great efforts to overcome it, but if you want to be wealthy in the future you will have to do it, there are two ways of being wealthy to get a lot of income or to save most of your income, anyone that has worked for a decent number of time knows that it is easier to save then it is easier to earn more money, so create a budget and follow it strictly and wait for some months until you get rid of that habit.

Though,  it doesn't happen to me, but I have seen so many people who most times experience this sort of thing. You usually just find it difficult to manage your spending and this kind of act will definitely not make you not to save. To save, it's best you stipulate the amount of money you should spend every week and money should be going into your savings. Though, it may not be easy at the beginning, but with time you will adapt.

I'm so related with this. as much as I want to save money, I always ended up buying foods and things that I never really needed. that's why I have to separate my savings and my expenses. but it's still hard for me to do that, knowing that I have extra that I could spend. I hope that I will overcome this kind of problem in me someday.

I make a complete list of my weekly expences and I force myself to follow it because I believe that self discipline is what we really need to get rid of unnecesaary expenses that might just lead to loses. We must have enough savings for the future to secure our earnings and savings.

I'm a kind of person who spends to much for unnecessary things that I don't really need, until I realized that I should save something for the future. So I started by spending my money wisely through saving something for emergency purposes. I get rid of going our to avoid spending too much.

I would specifically setup a goal to reach. Then put all you time into achieving this.
Keep your mind focused on this instead.
That should get you from spending too much thought into the thing you do view as unimportant as you are seeing those things as just a waste of your time and money.

Well, everybody out there must have felt this problem of spending on redundant things and regretting later. To prevent this, first of all do not react to FUDs, they can cost you hell lot of a money (by money I mean losses). Further, keep researching on any currency, that your gut says can fetch you profit. Trust your research, and never take a panicky decision in consideration with your investment. A decision based on an FUD or anything instant or panicky, might make you regret later. So, the best way to avoid spending on unimportant things is to invest your money. That'd reduce your expenditure and increase your revenue. Wink

Very interesting question.
I once made huge mistake and spend much more money than I could afford to spend.
After that bad experience, I use a smarter strategy.
First, I check my income and than I decide how much I can afford to spend each month.
For such strategy you must have good self-control.
It's easier when you have wife who know how to help you Smiley

Well same as me I spend cryptos for unimportant things or converting my cryptos to fiats to buy unimportant things. Well we do have different strategies or ways on how are we going to control ourselves from spending on unimportant things. There's a wallet that's exclusive in our country wherein you can directly convert btc to fiats and withdraw it to atm bank machines or withdraw it from banks. So in order for me to avoid unnecessary withdrawals I do things that will empty my wallet such as:

• Putting it to paper wallet and store it somewhere safe in our home.
• Investing it to ICO's (A little bit risky)
• Making a new Bitcoin online wallet (not the wallet from my country) and storing some of my btc's there. Because if it's in my countries wallet i'm tempted to withdraw it.

Well just like what i've said we do have different styles/strategies on how are we going to control ourselves it's for us to find out where are we comfortable at.
