Before betting on a sportsbook, you should research to see if it is trustworthy. For this you must review their website and make a decision. Only bet on a sportsbook if you think it's credible. But I like to bet on some trusted sportsbook.

He did say something about the reviews but about the customer support, usually it's already presented in a gambling review site or it can also be spotted as a reply at the gambling sites ANN thread located in the forum but the best thing is that we will check it all by our selves only to see if the review that we see somewhere is legit because there are also reviews that are meant to damage the reputation of a gambling site and there are some which are biased and they do it because they are being paid to do so but I wonder what are those factors you mean where experience and time is needed. Does it mean you need to continue playing on that gambling site to know those factors? Hhmm, that seems hard.
Every person has their mind set - some people give value to one thing while the other give value to other stuff.
However at every step there are many important thing which matters the most. Review - Customer care - RTP - Bonuses what not!
Majority of people would really be going after on reputation/popularity before they would tending to touch up a certain platform or site and some do mind or getting interested into those bonuses and perks disregarding the

reputation whether it would be new or already old as long it does really get their interest then they would make involvement which is not really surprising for some but if we are really just making use of our common sense
then it would really be just normal for us to choose into those sites who had proven out theirselves but its not bad to consider new ones but of course there are several factors which would really be needed
to be proven or checked out first but this is actually not really that hard to see those or check things and make some checklist before making deposits.

Valid point. Most people will really go after popularity and reputation if they are new to something. They wouldn't really easily trust a casino or a gambling website if it is newly stablished because if it's also new, who will testify to prove it's worth the money? It's practical to just play into already famous ones with lots of reviews already than to risk into new gambling site with no assurance that it is safe and enjoyable.

But still, to each his own. There are people who are risk taker wherein it's their joy and hobby to explore new things. Some are totally okay discovering new website to play with as long as they can get their money's worth in the end and get to feel the thrill. Perhaps also sharing the information to other people such as in the community.

And they are lucky because, in this forum, several sports book sites already have a good reputation so they can join immediately or find more information about the sites.

If people already knew how good a sports book site's reputation was, they would choose it and join right away. In addition, the sportsbook site also provides certain events that will attract more members to register. The reputation of a sports book site will be their main concern to trust the sports book site.

Hello everyone, I've been using online sportsbooks for a while now, but I wanted to know how do you know how to trust those sites? What do you look for in them, what are some red flags for you, that kind of stuff. Hope it makes sense and please share what are your favorite online sportsbooks.
Checking their reputation is a big help. It is one of the steps you need to do before making yourself play with their service. Find out what issues does their players had encountered from playing on their site. Find reviews. Look also for accusation threads with strong proofs included.

Right now I do not have any favorite sportsbook as I don't really gamble that much in relation to sports.
That is correct check the repute - check the reviews - check the functionality and also RTP as well.
But most importantly try to find what locals are using. Dont follow blindly.

in summary what you said is the actual sense of it because before your partner with any company or any platform you have to research and know their operating style because if you don't really know their operating style before going there you can be scammed or you can be rubbed and when something of such nature happened let you feel as if the platform is bad why you are the one that caught it with yourself because of you have not paying attention to check their platform before doing anything in their service

You can't blame anyone once you already experiencing things like this. It's always best to check and do your research before you use the platform. Like you both mentioned, the site you will going to use should always have good reputations in terms of handling complaints and how the support is doing if in case an incident like this takes place while you are playing.

With good support, aside from reading and doing your part before playing, good support is also a good part in choosing the platform to use.

If they are willing to assist you and help you, it's a good sign that you are in a good type of gambling house.

The Gambling industry has done tremendous development in this decade. Lots of casino sites have come out online. But not everything is not real. There have been many fake casinos where you can lose all your money through joining. Having these things you can get ideas about real casinos.
1. Casino License
2. SSL Certificate
3. Random Number Generator software (RNG)
4. Customer Support
There are other some other things which are also important to find authentic casino or sportsbook.

That previous point 3 refers to traditional casinos, the question about sportsbooks, so  there are things to consider such as match fixing and then which events are reliable, in that sense there are organizations that monitor; the sports, its directors, players, referees, owners, etc. vigilant that sports results are met in their complete honesty.

Therefore, it would not be normal for a bookmaker to present betting offers in leagues that are not monitored, for example!. Another is to have odds that are not adequate to the true possibilities or that are suddenly changed.

When we read sportsbooks threads here, we can see the feedback from gamblers and to see how the sportsbook manager solve problems and answers to the gamblers. The review sites often make fake reviews - for money or for referral links. On this board we can find more information and i`m sure - it will be more truthful.

very true, because this is the first step that must be done because indeed we cannot directly be on a site without being based on trust and one way to check it is with the reputation there.
I actually like to bet on sportsbooks and maybe compared to other games such as slots or others I am more often at sportsbooks and I have several sites that I think are quite comfortable there because like duelbits or stake, this is not too complicated which makes I like it until now.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
We have a big role here and that is to give our honest feedback on the gambling sites that we are using so people will know if the gambling site can be trusted or not. However, reputation are build overtime, and there are gambling sites that are good now but overtime they'll turn into a trash gambling site and will just scam people, so we have to be aware of that too and don't put our money in one basket, more gambling sites to trust the better IMO.
I agree with you we have a big role, unfortunately many participants of the section are not real gamblers and are just here to reach their mandatory quota of gambling posts, and don't make reliable feedbacks. I also agree reputation is not sufficient to blindly trust any casino, as you say any renowned casino can turn into a scammy one. Because owners have changed, the casino is losing money or just because it doesn't care anymore to its reputation as it uses to do. During bear markets like the one we are encountering people have to be more vigilant.
If you are a smart gambler, you will know if a poster is just making some post to fulfill his quota, so IMO it's not a problem. Besides, negative feedback is more noticeable in the eyes of the gamblers than positive, so as long as the gambling site has no serious negative feedback, that means they are a good place to gamble with.

It's easy to check the feedback if it's coming from this forum, if they have an ANN thread the better because not only you will read the feedback from the community, you can also see what kind of gambling site they are by just clicking on their profile.
It creates good things when great people gathers in one forum like this. Checking everything will be easy and different opinion will be provided.
If it's a good sports bookie I can say Sportsbet did a pretty great job at being one with high reputation in this forum. There's no doubt as I have tried it too and it's not just the service but also the features of their gambling site. UI is not a sore in the eye and options like same game parlays that cannot be seen at other sites.
This forum is a good starting point for every sports betting site. Country restrictions should also be checked.

Look at the reviews on different websites? They maybe fake reviews, but you can also check the forum. If they have an announcement thread, see how active they are and what people are saying about them. Look for any scam accusation against them and if those accusation were solved or not. Don't join a random new casino. Always go for casinos/sportsbook that has been around for a while. Others that are saying to look at things like withdrawal speed and live support doesn't realize that even if they have all those features, they can still scam people.

Sites that have a special identity and whose transactions are very fast and trustworthy can only be trusted. Those who engage in large-scale activities, I believe only in those who deal honestly and maintain confidentiality. KYC is a means of protecting a user's privacy.
