First-person or primary source is one of the most reliable information than having thoughts only came from the secondary also having a good sportsbook it depends on the needs and preferences of a person, also today i don't trust too much too regards with the online review of the gambling platforms because they can now paid today, for me having a lot of bonus and events with a fast transaction and good quality services has a really big impact.
For sure many of them are having these paid reviews so you can't blindly trust them and lock your funds for gambling over there as they can be pure scam and your funds can be gone easily.There are some good sportsbook provider on the forum like my signature which are verified as legitimate casinos with variety of sports to bet upon.
But you never know if that first person is authentic too and not a good friend or hired agent. There are so much scams about reviews and people giving info.
But most of the time reading reviews give you a slight idea - what to do and what not to.

Whether it's a paid review or not, is easy to spot. Also, the person writing that paid review can expose the deal later, so reputable gambling sites don't bother with this kind of activity. They have enough people satisfied with their services. Genuine site users write kind of reviews that not so easy to imitate, especially for the kind of people who don't mind doing such sleazy job, they are usually not well educated. In short, finding a trustworthy online sportsbook is not a problem these days. Just don't overthink the whole thing.

The first thing I always do is look at the reviews and if you feel from the reviews you can see user satisfaction. then from there I saw other things such as regulations, licenses and so on. do not forget also how long the existence of the site is present. because to be honest I sometimes have doubts about the new one. But that doesn't mean every new one is bad. because everything starts from new too. but over time it builds trust and user satisfaction that becomes a plus. Everyone has their own way of judging it. because I myself am a person who always likes to take risks. because sometimes it's fun. so the main point is that I trust the points mentioned more like seeing reviews or reviews of other users.

That is correct - reviews and rating are paid most of the time - unless the genuine businessman who is authentic and work on principles. The is no other way to find about the authenticity of business than reviews. The things are risky but if one is interested - one should dive right in.

The user experience is always good.

Like from the forum it self, don't believe any word from influencer or random youtube channel. What's the most important things about any kind casino or sportsbooks, how they pay the user. Here my list research of casino/sportbook
1. Restriction country
2. How they process the withdraw: Fast? any limit withdraw or not.
3. How their customer service : Live chat or email.
4. See a review not only one, but a few review.

This is also the first thing that I look for before putting my trust into a gambling website. The user experience will tell it all to potential players if the casino is offering great quality of service or not. When a person enjoyed the service provided, surely they will do the honor of spreading about it to their friends and the cycle will continue to happen. Overall quality of service for me depends on their processing time of transaction, deposit, and withdrawal. Addressing the concerns and issues at hand is important for me too because this just clearly give away if they are just after for profits or the customers' welfare and satisfaction as well.

Review sites are good of course. But there are also a lot of fake reviews. And I don't just mean fake reviews that are praising the gambling site, but there are also fake reviews that unjustifiably provide casino negativity.

And that is the worse kind of review. It is very dangerous kind of review because it defame and rubs the reputation of a company in the mud.
Meanwhile, in the forum here, we have seen countless of newbies giving negative feedbacks, and the best way to discover that is when you see accusations without tangible evidences.
But if such negative reviews happens outside the scope of this forum, it will be disastrous to the company, especially if it's a new one.
Are there some kinds of law that prohibits companies hiring fake reviewers to hunt down their competitors?

And there are a lot of review sites. I know Trustpilot is very active in maintaining fake reviews, but how do you know what is fake and what is not? It is quite difficult to bring clarity to this. There are also many reviews on the forum. Your own experience with a site is the best indicator.

1. Restriction country

I really don't care much about that as my country restricts basically every online casino just because they "worry about the financial health of its slaves?" or prefers people have some money to spend on various taxes rather than have some fun in a casino Cheesy

For me there's a number of factors like the site's reviews, whether there's scam accusations on the forum or not, if they are active here and respond to questions, if they have a sig campaign or not, if they require KYC... Usually sites that are popular and have active moderators will not scam you, but you have to check their policies on VPNs and some other things. Before you start playing google them and check if people had any problems with them.

Many people are talking about reviews and I agree that reviews can't be trusted. Not because they are a complete lie, but because they are painting a different picture from what the reality is. They leave out the negatives and highlight the positives. That's not a lie, but it is a biased review.
The thing with paid reviews is that even if the site doesn't tell you to specifically write only nice things about them, the person getting paid feels a certain gratitude and obligation to do that anyway. That's why most reviews are positive and focus on the good things.
this reminds me of a certain controversial gambling site here in the forum that created a paid review campaign for their gambling site. as you expected the majority of the reviews were positive. also, what made that review campaign extremely unreliable is a lot of participants who joined that paid review campaign were an alt of someone and are trying to take advantage of the campaign.

Even the gambling review website now can be paid to get a higher rank for the list and I guess this is not ideal anymore to become a source of information instead having a shared experience from the first person reliable source or experience is the most deal with the thing.  By that you can get an information what is good to know like pros and cons at the base of the experience not just as the base of getting paid.

Hello everyone, I've been using online sportsbooks for a while now, but I wanted to know how do you know how to trust those sites? What do you look for in them, what are some red flags for you, that kind of stuff. Hope it makes sense and please share what are your favorite online sportsbooks.

Hi! I am relatively new in this field, but I have already managed to form my own opinion. A review of a bookmaker is always subjective because it reflects the personal opinion and experience of a particular player. That is why different players will leave both positive and negative reviews about the same bookmaker. And they can all be honest at the same time. You need to carefully collect reviews on the Internet and try to understand whether they cause you to be wary.

I kinda understand your difficulty here in the sense that there has been proliferation of gambling websites and it's hard these days to get to trust your money on any one.

But one can be able to decern those few that could be trusted to an extent through their years of operations, checks on reviews (although reviews at times can be deceiving but it's one of the way to go with), also their mode of operations too is another way to check if they could be trusted.

There are so many red flags a gambler can see in a gambling platform that he or she will know that such gambling platform does not worth it. One of the good factors we can look at in a gambling platform is withdrawal. Sites that have good or fast withdrawal process is a sign that the platform is good and reliable. We can also look at deposit bonuses which can be a good sign of a good platform but noy all. To me I mostly look at fast transactions.

Even fake reviews gives some information. But of course you ought to get several reviews at least. In such way you can get different moments to compare and, if you make research, you can understand there is the fake. And i decided for myself that all reviews are fake. Even famous reviewers - are unknown men for me.

Just like any gambling website also, you have to check for several factors, which may include:

  • The website's traffic;
  • The number of years the website is running in the internet;
  • It's overall feedback and review done by others;
  • If the website has an active customer support service; and
  • If it has a standard and working domain;

The factors that I have listed are some of the general information that one must check before they attempt to try an online sportsbook or even a gambling website. Since this involves depositing/holding funds for you, then it is better to exercise the utmost care and caution before delving completely.

own research and never use an online sports book or gambling site just because someone else has given an assessment or review about the gambling site.

Only we will know how to find an online sports book site and how we will trust that online sports book site so that we don't follow the advice of others. Ratings given by other people can be useful for us, especially if we don't know how to find them but again, don't use that as a basis for trusting sportsbook sites.
That is correct - see the reviews but dont always believe that the reviews are genuine.
People do buy reviews as well. There are scams and bots which can increase the rating of the site. Leaves the person in bad situation

If it's about the reviews then the best go-to are the threads of the online sportsbooks on this section. You'll get genuine reactions, reviews and complains from the actual players that have been telling good and not so good reviews.

Telling their experiences and what are the possible problems that they've met upon playing with any of these bookies. And as well as the count of their bettors, do not be misled by new bookies, they're making up numbers to attract players but it's all fake.

But to the legitimate ones, they've got real numbers.
Even so, they still have to do their own research and never use an online sports book or gambling site just because someone else has given an assessment or review about the gambling site.
