Just be always updated with the bitcoin gambling industry check updates from the crowd especially with the casino that you are playing. Just do some deeper research if you really want to find out if the casino you are into is a legit one. Since we are in forum (community) that has a lot of detectives, we just need to do monitoring.

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

Lol if you ever see an scam gambling site you think theres a player who played that?
Sure, there are and will be players playing at scam sites like betcoin.ag

Common sense is all you need when you want to play in gambling website first thing is you will see the advertisement of that gambling here in forum...
Betcoin.ag was not allowed to advertise their scam here in forum.

Signature campaign advertisement means absolutely nothing as you can see with betcoin.ag! 1xBit also had a heavy signature campaign here until they withdrew recently.

...and there are lot of players who actually give a review and also reputation to those who handled it.
Here is a good and unbiased review: Online Gambling Scams

This review is of course not complete, as there are 100s of operators and new operators join the market frequently, but definetely worth to take a look on it.

Other than using search engines to look up the reputation of a gambling site, let's make it a habit to read available terms and conditions of these sites to avoid being in dispute with them.

the best way to determine if a gambling site is scam or not is to deposit one bitcoin and ask for withdrawal  Grin

I would avoid this because they just might hit you with an AML term and confiscate your funds Roll Eyes

There are so many things you can check for when you are looking at the legitimacy of a website. Even if its all in order and legitimate things can still go wrong. No matter what facts are in place there is always something thst can always happen and that is if the casino runs or simply just doesn't payout on large wins. I actually have no idea what can be done about this. Some sort of insurance put in place of some sort like with fiat casinos.

Revolutionizing Brokerage of Personal Data
You can use google searh, forum search, SSL. Even design can show site scam or not (zombiewager)

Are they have support team? Have F.A.Q in site? Or deposit and use until win u can withdraw after win if there is no transfer then u lost and scammed Smiley

Best way is the forum search. If there is a gambling site accepted bitcoin there will be review in here. Good or bad reviews will give ideas.

Also there is a list ; https://gist.github.com/MRuy/a3a64bc870a320864557

You can contact cs on the gambling site if no reply is usually within 2 x 24 hours you should doubt with the site, only a few users, or you can asking in the forums like bitcointalk.org. I recommend gambling on a site that already has a good reputation

but in all seriousness nothing can get you prepared for an exit scam, although you can and should always
follow the guidelines before you deposit,it has been discussed in length in this topic
it is always better to use established old sites, even if they offer less promotions and bonuses
new sites have to run promotions to entice players, but at times they just turn scam or close

Payment Gateway Allows Recurring Payments
You can research about it in the internet and you can find the right answer about this site, if it's spam or not. Anyways, there is things you can find it yourself by analyse the site.
I mean the https, facebook page or twitter page.
The mechanism of this site, etc...  and the best thing is by asking gamblers, which they gamble there.

OP is asking how to identify if a gambling site is a scam not a spam. Spam is very far and different from scam. And facebook pages and twitter page isn't that enough to know if that site is a scam. They will tell everything good about their site so they aren't going to say the real thing about their shady activity so that's not reliable.

I`m checking it here in bitcointalk and check the feedback of other players. Just search the site or name of the page you want to know.

Asking is the best way to know if a certain gambling site is a scam or not, and you could say that it is just a scam because of its interface and there's a lot of things missing in their site. Also, you could tell by just looking at their history, and no one is playing on their site, stuffs like that.
But you could barely see a gambling site which is a scam or turned out to be scam because of insufficient funds or they have lost all of their Capital and Profit.

So far, I never got scammed by online gambling site. Mostly, before I decided to play at a gambling site, I will do a little research by reading users feedback about that site. If most people gave a good signal that the site is safe then I will try to play on there. Otherwise, I will stay away from that site.

You can't in generally decide if a site is legit or scam unless someone invests in it. But yeah there are still some sites which advertise in the forum and they have scammed many of it's users by not sending their winnings.
The best way to be safe is invest mostly in a site which sends payment instantly to you that is the only way or check how old the site is or their reviews.

you're probably right. we will not know the site is a scam or not until someone invest, or to the purpose of the site are met. yeah, but sometimes very difficult to distinguish sites that scam or not, but most sites are scam comes in the new site.

I think investment in a site and depositing on a site to gamble with the money are two different things. I agree with what you've said about how to pick up a site where to gamble but what generally called investment is when you are not gambling but when you are investing to have a share of their profits.

The best way to know whether a site is legit is reading reviews about this site on bitcointalk or any other trusted forum (I personally know only this one).

The answer to this thread is that it is hard to tell especially if the casino has been there for quite some time already.
But when people start facing problems with those long running gambling site, they will start scam accusation against them everywhere. When we are referring this forum on choosing a gambling site definitely we could come across those reviews and we could easily avoid them.

Just referring people would be the easiest way to find and avoid scam gambling sites.
Some scam accusations aren't always true because there are some cases those people who accuse cant provide some strong proofs which it somehow leads the public to make negative thoughts about the site and decreases its reputation.I do believe that reputable sites do experience this mistakes like technical stuffs or users problems but doesn't mean they are scammers directly.

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?
I don't experience that so far every time I do gambled in the gambling sites. Perhaps, the only idea I could say about it to determine if the gambling was a scam site is if you deposit an amount in the bankroll but cannot start play in the games, it means you've been scam by the gambling sites because the site ate your capital investment.

That's a really blind and unreliable way to check the site though. Yo are saying that you have to blindly deposit an amount into the casino to see if you will be able to withdraw? What if they were legitimately taking deposits and letting you play for a while but after some time when they got their target investments from gamblers and investors. The answer to this thread is that it is hard to tell especially if the casino has been there for quite some time already.
