Most of the time, you can just tell.

Always check the forums for scam reports.

Google "[website] scam" and see what pops up.
Just checking if there are scam accusations is not fool proof, especially when we talk about gambling sites, since there will be a lot of players that will lose all their money and then accuse the casino of rigging the games when they may just got unlucky.

It's very easy and simple to do. Just google everything out and enter the name of site and you can review the experiences and reviews of people from them.

And of course as a gambler, don't just do gambling alone. Use your mind for the new sites and unpopular ones.

Always see proof of withdrawals.

Though I agree with you in one point, but I can never tell it if the gambling site is brand new. Usually they are the ones who has a lot of victim compared to gambling sites that are already established. But in one point, those established one are sometimes are hiding something too, unless you observe it by your self.

There are gambling sites that looks good,  but look at what other players are telling. Reviews sometimes are misleading, some are just maliciously create a review either in favor of the gambling site or against it, depending on the reason.

A competitor could hire someone to make a bad review and the owner could hire someone to make a nice review.

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

I've also wondered if gambling sites scam customers. I try to check message boards to see if a site has any record of bad customer service or if it has been accused of scams. It's also not a good idea to put a lot of money on gambling sites.

Here's few more tips (aside from the above answers):

1. Check for expiry of the domain (check for SSL expiry as well, in cases of these two being different in terms of either the start date or end date, it could be one red flag)
2. Sufficient information about the owner and brand (valid name, address and contact number of the owner or the respective brand), mostly hidden by some privacy protecting service.
3. No proof of funds.
4. "To good to be true" stuff.
5. A lot of wrong spellings.
6. Not having 24/7 support (an actual one).
7. Contact a reputable coder to check the source codes that can be seen and to check the software being used.
8. Check for license
9. Check rules/f.a.q and try to cross check everything that sounds different
10. The site, isn't presented in a professional way.

Although these might not be everything and just because some of these are present in a gambling website, doesn't make them automatically a scam but these should be warning points upon using such websites.
no funds proof are the most clear thing to prove that they will run scam , if they are legit they don't have to hide anything. also there a lot of small bitcoin gambling sites keep paying , have verified hold the funds to pay the winning but don't have a 24/7 support, i think this one are just an additional value to judge whether they are scam or not?

I wonder how you do your research if a gambling site is scam or not?

Don't play new games with very little user (forum) feedback, that's always a good start.
I personally stick to a handful of trusted sites here, I'm not very adventurous regarding bitcoin gaming/gambling sites.

I think we'll know the gambling site is scam, when i made a withdraw and their didn't process it  but of course there are also other factors like they canceled our bets without a reason if it happens to me then I would say that they are scam site.

Why should you even bother yourself about whether a gambling site is scam or not where we have reputable sites on the forum that have even proven themselves over the years and trust me the community cannot be wrong at least one person would have made efforts to reveal the scam. But if you want to know, then you have to go to the scam accusation section of the forum to learn what they did and see if you can apply some.

You need to use you common sense.
Never play with more than you can afford to lose.
And be very very suspicious on every "too good to be true" promotion.

I think it's easier than that. You can find the site on bitcointalk forum, see how old it is, what trust do the owners have and go through some feedback in the thread. I think this provides you with all the information you'll need and then you can just gamble without being scared. And perhaps I'll agree on 'too good to be true' thing with you but if some casino is trusted but has a big minimum withdraw amount or house edge, you better seek for something better Smiley

Checking the fairness is one way to conduct the research first step is to use a faucet if they have one or make a minimum deposit then make a couple of bets after that verify each roll.

Wait for it to gain reputation, then you can start to deposit larger amounts.
Why wait when you could gamble on other reputable/trusted casinos.

Use the site. Deposit small amount, play with it and if you win, withdraw your winnings. If it gets through, then it may not be a scam site. But even with that cleared, I will still not deposit large amount to non established gambling sites. Wait for it to gain reputation, then you can start to deposit larger amounts.

Use your gut. Stick with established sites and remember there is strength in numbers so go where everyone else is going unless you are using small amounts you dont care about.

Mostly by people reviews, if there is many bad reviews on them, this is much probably scam site but if you are dare to try you should deposit some amount to make sure that they are really scam or not. But usually when people said that each site is scammed, mostly is true because they already have some experience on them and get this issue so i suggest you to believe them and try to search more too to make sure that X site is scam or not

Usually depend on community feedback on the site.
Let say , they promote on sosmed , youtube , or forum good comment are essential things to gather more exposure on the site
Especially feedback from experience gambler or coder

But overall predicting gambling is a scam or not is just like gamble to , whenever they can made you money or they can made you loss

Deposit money. If you cant withdraw then it is a scam.
If it doesn't have provable fairness assume it is a scam.

No real way of telling with a new casino as they can turn scam in a heartbeat.
