Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?

When I am new at trading crypto currency I am easily panic when my coins suddenly drops of a 5 percentage then I will panic sell and after an hour it goes high again and even higher then I am so down that time because I feel so unlucky but when time comes after you experience so many of it you will learned from it and you will be more patient and your panic attacks will be no more hindrance to you.

It is all about price, I react too much if the price reach high price and greediness came at this time. All of us (bitcoin user) become greedy when we have a big profit, who can not grab this opportunity? this is a sure income. Maybe, others (professional trader) want more profit and wait to until the price become too high. But for me, the sure profit is enough and I'm contented what I have from my trading.

I do react fast before, that is the time when I know nothing or not that much.
I sell in an instant without even thinking if there will be a chance it will go back up.
Sure I did some right decision by selling but the percentage of regretting it is a lot more.
I didn't even have the chance to buy back thinking of the great lost I have been through.

Before I'm decide to trade altcoin or bitcoin, I'm prepare for lossing ! Cryptocurrency is a high risk trading and most people already aware of that !
When I'm buy some altcoin, I'm usually hold it as long as possible so whenever they get dump , I'm still insist to hold it compare to my friend that he's afraid for lossing
I think all of us is afraid to lost our investment but if you do trading you need to buy at low price then you will set the target amount to sell your bitcoin just put it in sell order that is what i am doing and by doing that i do not need to monitor the dump and pump of the coin i buy just check if my order is already sold.
This is a good idea but I think you need to wait for long time to hit your target. Or sometimes your good luck the price will reach your target it is fast income. But for this, we need to invest our extra money, and there is no time limit for this method. Our target will reach tomorrow, or next year we have to wait till that time then only we can make a profit.

Just spill the tea/coffe on your computer when you panic and than you will not do anything stupid Smiley
Easy to say but its really hard to do because this thing would really depend on how strong the self control of a certain person. If hes sensible enough he would definitely do things that would make him calm down instead of panic since he does know what would be the things might be done if we are on panic mode. We usually make such bad decision when we are on this current state thats why its important to have a good self control. When i do panic i usually get out in front of my pc and do something that relieves my stress.

But actually its pretty hard to control ourselves if we see our capital loss breakin out, And maybe some of people really matters that since we've actually see so many weakness splattering on some exchange and if they will learn how to hold and defy those feelings surely they can earn and devirsify the loss in tradings. But we can't erase the real fact that sometimes we do panic sells since not all the coins we hold are potential to be last for more months.

How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?
In the starting , it was really a big problem for me to get loss in the value of fiat for the coins to.hold , but after long time experience I realise that the earnings in the trading is a job of patience , if I can take my patience at the best then I will.never face any panic .
In the starting after the down of the price , I usually sold my Bitcoin and other coins to control the loss , bit now after the down in the price instead to sell I buy them and if again get down then buy again and so on .
This is really a good trick to overcome the loss in the particular coins due to bulk investment .
And also this is the truth that the price will surely increase in the future with confidence , sonwhy we should get into panic .

When the price is far beyond our estimates it may be due to a very deep issue or problem, if I panic I more see the information first or ask it and see their reaction if no information forced to cut lose than holding.

Every time I see a star like this> * < or two stars like these>**< in front of a coin's supply in coinmarketcap.com and few times a day I see how their prices pump and dump in a constant loop I wouldn't actually panic but rather laugh and also feel sorry for those losers and suckers invested in those shit coins. so I either buy something which I have full confident about it's future or I don't buy at all, if I have faith in something then I wont easily panic.

I don't really panic because I trade for the long term, so I just hold strong coins as an investment. If I was for the short trades, then I don't think I would panic as well, because I would just follow my exit strategy. You need to have one when you trade, so you don't panic, and keep everything according to plan.
that is good, even in present time if a person is welling to go for long term investment then there is not wrong in the market and he can then trade bitcoin at any stage because the price of bitcoin has good potential and will continue increase for a long time. currently bitcoin is getting a great support from the investors and hope that they will continue the support for bitcoin.

Well experienced traders rarely go on panic mode anymore i think. Because just like you, we know that once a coin drops, it's almost certain that it would go up again. Just do a little research and it's a lot better to wait for a long time than to sell at a price where you'll lose money
When we will be having predetermined plans for what to do on different market conditions like what to do when market over react as per our predictions or what to do when market goes against our predictions, there will be very thin chances to get panic during market hours. Yes these plans and accepting ant situations will come into practice only through experiences.

Every trader must be facing losses but not all the traders are getting panic. Because some traders gain experiences from their mistakes which helps them to become "professional" traders.

Panic sell really makes me annoyed, where we always cornered in two choices

-Select a sale but loss
-select hold but do not know when it will rise again

First, the first choice I always do
But now ,, better I save it even with high risk .. ,, coin die and become garbage
My question is: how long will the price be back stable?
A difficult question to answer. All that seems impossible. I recommend CL to minimize bigger losses.
Each choice always coincides with the risks.
Yes, have a stop-loss can help you have rule in trading and can earning more profit in future. I'm a trader not use stop-loss when trading STR/BTC, and look now, my base price is 2800 sat and the price breakdown to under 1000 sat => Take a huge loss with -300%

I don't panic really. When an altcoin I hold drops I know it will recover eventually because I always analyze my investment before investing in the first place. I think I will consider panicking once the internet shuts off for some reason.
That one quality which every trader should have. Even I don't panic because I am very choosy when it comes to buying an altcoin and I buy a coin only after doing good research about the coin and only when I'm convinced that the coin has the potential to grow and it's there to stay. I don't grab every other coin that comes my way. Along with all that said above one should have lots of patience when one is into trading.

Selling at 10% loss is a panic move for me. Back when I was still trying to trade alts, there is this coin that I made the most out of other alts. Because I made good money out of it, I bought tons of it. What I don't know is that it's on a pump and oh my I bought near the top. An hour later I saw that it's crashing and so I sold all of it, 25% loss, then never looked back in that coin ever again.

Oh, it is the little devil Blakcoin I'm talking about.

I'll never do this again if I have the same experience to you. These days people are now scared to buy at peak because there is a tendency that it will go down. It's like when new investors came into the league, those old ones(traders) has the chance to take those money for profit. And the new ones will suffer this and that is causing them to panic.

I go on panic when I heard that bitcoin will collapse the price. Many bitcoiners will be affected if this happen. But most of bitcoiners may panic they will sold their bitcoin before price down. But the big timers of bitcoin maybe they will hold it then wait for the surprise of bitcoin high price.

I usually panic after I open a buy position in the exchange. The price most probably go under my order price and I get depressed every time this happens.
