You don't really need to watch matches to bet on them and this logic applies to literally every sport out there.

The OP already knows about the risks of this sport and he even compared football with it. Epic comebacks can occur not only in this sport but also in other sports. This is what they say that sometimes we need luck in and not just pure analysis.

MMA youtube channel, there are plenty of them that provides not just analysis of the fights but also news about what is going with Dana's brain. Fighters usually are being called to be interviewed on what is their opinion especially to Bisping's channel or Chael Sonnen.

There are actually many MMA forums around where bettors are also very active. Like how we're discussing here about crypto, they are quit accurate to their predictions.

You can get all the information you need to make your mind about boxing or the UFC from the internet. I wish I could name you some websites that have a lot of statistics, but I am not so much into boxing or UFC. My main sports I follow and bet on is football and some esport games. It comes natural to me to stay informed and uptodate on the sport as I have played in the past myself and I always check the news about some changes. You are right that football is completely different from boxing. There is a huge league in football with many games every week. All the teams meet multiple times during a season, so you have constantly changing odds. And also it not only depends on your own performance to become the champion during a season, but also on the performance on the other teams. In boxing it's much simpler as you have less matches in a year and the big title fights is only between two people. Which also means that it's harder to stay uptodate on the boxing news as there will be much less coverage in the time between the fights.

I also have this idea specially if I am interested in sports , because there is no much expert in each field than those commentator , I remember when I first try learning about NFL when there was a very little that in my understanding .
and yes those EX football players that turns into sports analysts and commentators?

and this is also the main interest in the sports OP is asking ,a single punch or kick will change the momentum or even the result because this sports is very risky for betting purposes not unless you are friend with luck.

The fact about the unpredictability of boxing matches is surely a thing one should consider before making bets, especially someone who isn't really knowledgeable about the sport and is only in the learning process yet. There are a lot of sports out there, and out of them, some are pretty easy to master or understand from a gambler's perspective which means you can easily decide which team to bet on and how they would do, but there are some sports which are very hard to master and understand and it's very difficult to predict the outcomes of such sports.

UFC is not an easy sport to master, one will need a lot of knowledge and experience in order to be a skilled bettor for UFC since it is a sport where the outcome can always change unexpectedly, though there are a lot of good fighters whom you can choose and they mostly win but it is quite unpredictable at times in my opinion.

Yes you are right that mate and actually this what I do I keep updating to my favorite sports in order to have an Idea who's gonna play and put my bet on to our favorite team. And also being updated to our favorite sport is big help to know if our favorite team or fighter getting in the finals or in any competition.
