I keep Bitcoins in my own computer. I think because the safest. I keep it online but sometimes I find that quite unsafe because I sometimes hear from people that they have been hacked... So that's why I do it on my own PC.  Undecided

Its unsafe to save them online but its the easiest way, and the most people choose the easiest way.
I think a paper wallet is the safest option but the problem is that a lot of work.

As said not safe to use online wallets, still blockchain.info seems to be good comparatively. This wallet has the paper code which helps you get your account back even if something goes wrong.

I store my bitcoins in a online wallet with a 3 way authentication, its pretty nice and secure.
There are a lot other methods to store your bitcoins, with a cold storage as a example.

I use three wallets currently right now. Options #2 and #3 are most secure and safe in my use of bitcoin.

1. Blockchain.info - just simple and easy to keep a few bitcoins regularly available.
  - they also have an app so I can view my balance of bitcoin, transaction (incoming and outgoing), and other basic necessary information.
  - I can use my email to authorize the device when accessing my wallet. I receive an email if I confirm the device accessing my wallet online.
  - My email is protected by 2FA so a security code which is only available to me, so my personal cellphone would be necessary to open it.
  - I don't recommend storing large amounts of coins here.

2. Electrum with a Trezor
 - Very easy to just load and I like the fact that I don't need to backup my wallet.
 - Has a wallet seed so I can recover my bitcoins at anytime by just typing my seed into electrum and recovering my wallet.
 - Decentralized Server so I can pick and choose which one I want and the private keys are encrypted + never leave your computer.
+ using Trezor. I can still access my bitcoin safely even if my computer was compromised

3. Paper Wallet
 - Laminated Paper wallet which I keep in a safety deposit box.
 - Never having to worry about getting your paper wallet "compromised"
 - As long as you securely store the wallet and no one ever sees the private key, this is most safe in my personal opinion.

I store my bitcoins in a online wallet with a 2 way security, its the easiest method to store a bit of bitcoins, if you have a lot of bitcoins use a paper wallet for it.
I think a online can be secured enough but it depends on how you secured it and how much bitcoins you have.

You can secure your online account with an strength password and with 2Fa system (most people don't do this basic things). But the real problem is that online wallet server could be hacked. I don't recommend to store big amounts of bitcoins on online wallets, they are good for small payments but not to be your saving bitcoin account.

I store my bitcoins on my Android tablet, It's a hot wallet so I don't need to wait for the data to sync. I would probably use cold storage for higher amounts, however.

I personally enjoy my bitcoin Trezor and use it to store about 10btc, the rest is stored offline in paper wallets. Also have some in my phone as well.
Thing is to keep small amounts in many places to reduce chances of anything to happen, at least to a consistent part of your capital. I also find it safe e to store your coins in blockchain and put some 2 factor authentication in login to prevent hackers tpo login in your account. This is specially useful for smaller transactions.

Maybe I will use it too. It is very good to use I heard from some people. But you never know what can happen with it.

That's great dude. I am saving my bitcoin in my desktop wallet only. I am using Electrum and multibit to store my bitcoin, You can save more bitcoin addresses in that. But multibit is little slow I guess.
Electrum is good as far as I know, I never had any problem with it!!

Only use blockchain.info for storing my bitcoins, i don't fell safe with wallet on my pc becouse i can get a virus anytime and lost all my data. Online is easyly for me.
Its safe if you install updated anti virus. I will suggest kaspersky because its friendly user and it can prevent all virus and any malware in your pc or laptop it can also remove unsupecious application in your pc or laptop also it can protect your browsing to the internet by cookie monitoring he can protect you by them.. so its safe to use electrum after installing this anti virus..

I still preffer to use online wallet. It is simple for me and i have never used a computer wallet. Will try to install a wallet when i will have more btc, for now blockchain is god for my needs.

The thing with blockchain.info is that it's notoriously known for its bugs and whatnot. Also, it is susceptible to hacks and attacks, which makes it insecure to be a storage of large amounts of coins. It's only good for small amounts that need to be tossed out and about for faster transactions.

Better. Always keep your coins in your own PC if you have quite much, use online wallets for daily transactions, don't take the risk of storing a big amount of bitcoins in online wallets.

yeah true other than that. if you save the online course you will be storing in a third party such as blockchain or Coinbase, etc of course they have a chance to be a scam
but the shortage of desktop wallet you're wearing, ie not flexible
