lately I never use bitcoin I get, I just put it in two different wallets, one in blockchain and the other in c-CEX, I hope it will always be safe  Smiley

Online wallets like block chain or coinbase are safe only but still hackers are scamming in online wallets. Better you would go ahead with offline wallets, paper or cold storage to keep it safe.

I have a few bitcoin on my main computer using elctrum wallet

I have .4 ish bitcoins on my Iphone

I have almost a bitcoin on blockchain.info

I'm using an online wallet because it's more convenient in small and fast transactions, If I have some for cold storage though I think an offline wallet or paper wallet would be a decent choice.
yeah I prefer online wallet. more flexible. if one day we do not carry the gadget. we do not need to worry. because we are using an online wallet. we can open it anywhere
different from a desktop purse or wallet ofline

i am very interested in Multisignature Wallets these days. they sound awesome. you create a wallet which will require two sets of separate signatures in order to spend the bitcoin, then you keep the two wallets (two signatures) on two different machines. they can be both offline too. then the chance of both of them getting infected is reduced dramatically.

I think best one is an e-wallet with 2fa and cold storage (which protects with reputable insurance company)...

I store it in a Ledger HW.1, which is basically a Trezor with a laptop as a screen. It's super-cheap, at only $15.  I'd totally recommend it.

For me its safe to store your coins in blockchain and put some 2 factor authentication in login to prevent hackers tpo login in your account.
You can also try some offline storage if you want your coins in long term..
yeah with authentication in blockchain it was very safe. myself using sms authy so hacker cannot login in my wallet. because need code from my phone, its very safe than other

Most of them are online on an exchanged and used for trading.
The coins that are not used are safely in my wallet.
LOL What kind of stupid people who use the exchange as the main wallet ?

I personally enjoy my bitcoin Trezor and use it to store about 10btc, the rest is stored offline in paper wallets. Also have some in my phone as well.
Thing is to keep small amounts in many places to reduce chances of anything to happen, at least to a consistent part of your capital.

I have been excessively overconfident, but looking at the possibility of increasing my bitcoin amount, perhaps it could be a good time to look for a reliable way to store my bitcoins. I am thinking about some cold storage, but I don't know how reliable is my current e-wallet (xapo).

I always store my bitcoins in my computer with Bitcoin Core software.

Does it mean your computer is very secure? If you have bitcoin Core software in your computer, it means it is connected to internet.
