I haven't store any bitcoin yet but I am playing at bitcoin games on my phone and earn satoshis, so that soon I will be saving it on my wallet if it reached big amount. Having a good idea about saving bitcoin is really awesome specially for a newbie like me who is very aggressive to learn on how to earn bitcoin.

I use blockchain.info to store them and I use paper wallets for longer term. I do try some other wallets at times but I dont feel a need to use them since I like blockchain.info If I had many bitcoins then I would only trust a full qt wallet with serious amounts like that. For quick transactions online ones are far and you can't walk around running a full wallet on your phone xP

Blockchain.info should be secure enough for most people since you are in control of your own private keys, as opposed to coinbase and other online bitcoin wallet providers, which do not allow you access to the private keys.

This completely eliminates the risk of fractional reserve.

However if you have a really big amount, offline storage is still favourable as block chain.info is still operated online.

I have kind of diversified my bitcoin storage, i try not to depend on one method.  i have recently bought a Ledger wallet which is great and i have been using paper wallets for a few years now also.  i use the core wallet for some and i have breadwallet on my phone which is really handy.

Actually, I dot store my bitcoin. I just use an online wallet to receive bitcoin and once I received it, it's either I will withdraw it immediately and convert it into fiat or I will transfer it to my investment sites. The reasons why I don't store bitcoin are first, I use it for my daily expenses. Second, the market is very volatile. I don't want to take the risk on flactuation. And lastly, if ever my wallet will get hacked, the hacker will not get any bitcoin.
Not all like as you. Bitcoin is good cryptocurrency, there so many ways, keeping bitcoins with secure, to access with the private keys means have high levels of security . Store bitcoin a good practice so far, there make a chance to get profit or using your bitcoin in several platforms.
Well we do have our own insight since not all people is saving up bitcoin because they do actively spending it just like mine I can't save that's why I don't bother too much on keeping my bitcoin and just using online Web wallet then it's already okay for me but I do still have knowledge on where to store specially on big amounts just like cold, hdd, desktop wallets would be the best choice.

Paper wallet are the most secured ones. But I tend to spread mine out between offline paper wallets, my Android wallet, my PC wallet, and a couple online wallet. By spreading out your holdings, you protect your holdings by reducing your exposure to any one wallet being compromised.

If you don't want to take the risk of price fluctuation, then might as well leave bitcoins. Bitcoins is volatile and it always will be volatile. I think the actual reason why you're doing all of these is, ultimately, you're afraid that you're going to get hacked so you just either withdraw your funds or scatter them elsewhere. I suggest that you study how to use cold wallet. Holding bitcoin for a long time is far much better than investing to some investment site. Only withdraw what you need for your daily expenses.

Yes I do store my bitcoin on my different wallet, I saved bitcoin some in Electrum wallet, multibit hd, mycelieum on my android phone, I had also bitcoin balance in different  exchange platform where I used to trade, and in bit pay too.
yes to me i also store my bitcoins in different wallets. for security reasons i always try to distribute my bitcoin in different wallets, which give me good protection against stealing of my bitcoins.

I also keep my bitcoins in my wallet. In a few, because it increases security. But you still need to be careful and do not give other people access to your computer and smartphone

I store my bitcoins in wallet app., you can use this app. for payments and you can even exchange your bitcoin into the actual money. I think it is the only wallet that is being used at my country.
Looks like we have the same wallet but it is my main wallet which is i can use only for receiving and withdrawing bitcoin into fiat.. and i am using electrum instead for multi use or purpose's because sometimes our real wallet have their own terms and updating so for safety i use electrum..

I store in online wallets, I have access to pay my bills through Bitcoin directly, and they will convert my Bitcoin to fiat currency with very less transaction charge. I almost get what the Google show Bitcoin price at the present time. So I am happy to save my coins in that wallet. And I will not use other wallets like a mobile wallet and offline wallet etc.. These are not safe, and what I am using the website they are number one Bitcoin exchange in my country.

Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

Im storing it in my online wallet. It is safe there I know because most of my countrymen save their money on it.We have also a 27/7 chat support there and it has a many years after it was establish and it a very good rating as per users said.
Well, put it in an excellent desktop wallet. it feels very secure than storing the exchanger. you know, the exchanger always been the target of hackers. so, I guess wallet like blockchain or Coinbase excellent for storing bitcoin you get.
I usually store my bitcoin in xapo, which it's strongly secure too. I have few of my bitcoin in blockchain. I prefer xapo because it's great site and high secure, which you can control there your bitcoin easily and don't pay fees when you transferring bitcoin.

If you're a daily user where you send and receive coins in a frequent manner, then it doesn't matter if you make use of an online wallet service. I however hope that when it comes to storing coins that you store your coins offline. It could be you storing your digital wallet files in USB drives, or just making use of a paper wallet. You could even choose to further encrypt everything to add an extra layer of protection.
