I'd rate myself as OK with managing my own money. However sometimes I become really stupid somehow and just gamble away my bitcoins, or loan it out to a really obvious scammer.

So yeah, some room for improvement but overall it's alright.

You need to change your lifestyle and focus more on saving your money that wasting on your wants. Only buy things when you need it and investment your extra money out from your savings, in that way you will be rich in the future will have financial freedom.

Well I don't know how good i am at managing my money, since am still single although in legal age, i  give my salary to my mom.  , it's that i feel mum knows best LOL.  Anyway,  I manage to earn some BTC here without even spending a single cent to buy BTC.  I manage to win them from trading altcoin, some kind of Ping Pong trading.  I do it when an altcoin is actively traded by both bot and human.  Buy them at certain price, put them on sell order at about 10% higher then whenever it was bought i put it on buy order of 30% lower.  then the Ping Pong begin.  After I made some profit, BTC wise, i keep it until i see another opportunity to earn me money, i never withdraw unless it is badly needed.

You give your salary to your mom? You should let her handle your bitcoins as well.  Grin
But seriously, take her advise, but be in control of your finances.

While we are all here on this forum to earn one way or another, how well do you manage that money after you've earned it. Do you trade your Bitcoin as fast as you can spending it all in a day or do you save it? I recently got paid for a job I did in programming and i keep finding myself wanting to spend more of that money i made. I have a lot of credit card debt and that is not good. I have destroyed only two ofg my credit cards to which I owe thousands of dollars on.

how do you spend your money?
I rarely ever spend my money. Most often when I go to the bank to deposit money and I get a balance check I see I have more money than I though and it allows me a lot of freedom for whatever I decide to do.
I have a suggestion for you, instead of putting your money to bank why not invest it with bitcoins. It is just a simple buy and keep procedure. If you need money then you cash out, I think that would be awesome, that is like dual way of savings and investment.
Investing in bitcoins is good but it is risky as we never know when the price will fall back and if you buy now you might lose your investment. For me, this is only good if you have a lot of money to risk for and you can accept of whatever happens to your investment.

Yeah you are right, the price of bitcoin can easily goes down and easily goes up and it's really a good moment for a trader and investment, and i can manage my money into this investment to get more profit.

Now its not a very good time to buy although it still maybe, considering that many of us here believe price of bitcoin will skyrocket after some years, so if you are in for the longer term to hold your coins hoping to be richer than you are now thats good, if you want it for shorter term, buying coins is not advised. However bitcoin is a great tool to manage your money, once you have converted FIAT to bitcoin there is higher chance you keep it this way rather than when you have it in cash which you can be tempted to spend.

I'm pretty bad at it and I don't make as much as I used to.   But I don't have credit cards so I don't live beyond my means.  I guess I'm not as bad as I used to be.
I am pretty good at managing money even if I have to say it my self. They way I manage money is by putting a cap on how much I can spend per week. If I manage do to this I fur sure will save money.

all income i receive is my disability pension and the money I make from the occasional coding job as well as my signature campaign. All of my disability cheque goes to the credit card companies (I owe around $12,000 cAD) leaving me with the Bitcoins I make from this forum. I do not have an IRL job.
You are really a good manager of your money and also genius to get earnings from bitcoin also, in some places in my country people do not adopt any other source of earning while getting disability pension and spend a limited life with that amount.

I'm not really good at managing my money, because when i received my bitcoin from signature campaign, i always lose it all on gambling. Maybe i will start managing my money carefully from now.

I think you should have to start trading as trading have the same earning and the same entertainment which you find at gambling, and one thing is that at trading there is no way to lose your money.
I don' think you understand trading that much, in trading we can also lose our money as it is also risky but not as risky like gambling. Gambling depends on luck alone while trading requires skill to be profitable.
Definitely, trading is like gambling where you risk your money to earn money so it is still the same and trading is not safe. The only thing that differentiate the two is trading is back by the real market while gambling is back by the luck of the people.
No, it is not correct, trade and gambling are two different things, in gambling you grab other people money, you get the money while giving financial harm to other, while in trading you provide a servive of exchanging others money and in that way you earn some amount of them.

People say its the same because of the lack of knowledge of trading in the 1st place, so ignore that.

But the odds of loss in peoples eyes feel the same which is what they are referring to which goes back to my 1st sentence.

yeah, it is right in trading we do not harm to any other person and earn our profit while in gambling their is lose everywhere for everyone, and you make other people to lose their money in return of nothing.

I am quiet good at managing money from every money that you receive you should put some on the side and save that. Always save money for the future even if it is just a couple of Dollars.

Not that good as I want to, yet. But much better than I was 2-3 years ago. From poor teen to a wealthy young man Cheesy
Major factor was changing people around me. Just left that place with criminal-minded dumb guys and concentrated on self-development, teamed with my confederate and good friend and succeed  Cheesy

Even if you are holding your money it is a nice way to manage your money because than you are not even losing some money with it and that is really nice of the Bitcoin.
But of course it will be really hard to know what will happen in the future but saving and making an investment will be a nice combination.
I am not that good in managing because whenever I receive money then I am usually spending allot of money and more then I should spend.

Its risk but I say theres a different type of risk.

I dont know if that makes any sense to you, but a experience day trader who trades on the normal exchange in real life on a retail platefom like thinkorswim will have more odds of success just cause they have a previous trade setup they work with towards on bitcoin.

Results are varied based on their approach, but its not the same risk as throwing $100 on craps knowing you`ll lose where casino games have basically house edge made to destroy you.
Very well said, casinos would destroy you and your money management especially when you are playing at a huge house edge percentage. If you are serious with managing your money and want to achieve something good in the future you should stay away in gambling as that is a very risky job to do.
