I would suggest that don't make spending of your money as an 'habit'. Because if you will make it as an habit then probably you will have problems on how you will manage your money. And those people who are able to hold and manage their money properly are those people who knows how to spend their money wisely, just spend wisely and don't make it as habit.
You can get used to save and properly dispose of their money, but on condition that the money is enough to life. But in my life, it is the problem.

While we are all here on this forum to earn one way or another, how well do you manage that money after you've earned it. Do you trade your Bitcoin as fast as you can spending it all in a day or do you save it? I recently got paid for a job I did in programming and i keep finding myself wanting to spend more of that money i made. I have a lot of credit card debt and that is not good. I have destroyed only two ofg my credit cards to which I owe thousands of dollars on.

how do you spend your money?
How rich you are,  you must not be extravagantly. Keep in simple life like marck zuckerberg. Although he is obviously rich he isn't being extravagantly. I suggest you to divide your salary in three part,  the first part is for your daily need,  the second part is for your investment, then the last part is for your emergency condition. If the first part is can not fulfil your daily need you can take some of the third part.

I spend my money on what my family needs we don't buy things we don't need in the house. Managing my small income is very tight we dont even go to malls to stroll the kids and i spend my money on cheap brands when buying clothings for my kids. I saved my left money in my company cooperative in order for us to have an extra money to spend in times of budget shortage.
wow that's better i guess you also need to take some risk investing in some ways sad truth is our day job won't allowed us to became rich even we spend our lifetime working hard its business or investment will help us and best example is bitcoin to alt trading good way to invest money.

In my humble opinion, there must be fourth part = for entertainment. Life can be very boring when all you do is work, save, and investment. There must be some budget for entertainment because we are just human being. A simple going to the movie house with a popcorn will do it - that is one of entertainment example.. going to movie house is not your need, you can definitely live without it but a good way to have one hence, there must be budget for that kind as well imho.

I could say that I am a thrift man. A $20 equivalent to our local currency would last for about a week under my possession. I rarely buy stuff that is not necessary for living (except for games, lol!) and also, I mainly walk or use my bike when going to the office so that really helps me in terms of saving money. As for investments, I rarely spend my profit. I usually keep them as is on my wallet and a small portion goes to, well, games.

I'm not an expert in financial management, but I can control my expenses. The first step surely should be recognize the limitations and identify the things that are really necessary to buy, so that it becomes possible to avoid unnecessary expenses. It is something that becomes easier as you put it into practice.

I am very bad in managing my money just because of this I have some serious troubles in past now trying to become good but still fail to manage because my greediness kill me but I am not trying to have lesson from these failures but now working hard for this surely hoping for good in near future
if you are not good at doing the financial manage I'm sure that you will find it hard to have much money or it will be difficult to become rich, even if you earn a substantial income even if you do not have a good financial manage then you will be difficult to become rich

If i will rate my self on managing my money, I will said that i'm above average because i know how to prioritize my expenses and i know what is the right thing to do in financial problem. I always save some few bucks on building emergency funds to cover at least 5 months of my monthly expenses and i already open an other account on banks to separate the saving account to another one. Now, overall i'm satisfied on my progress on managing my money because those steps lessen the financial problems that i have.

Good for you. If you know to manage your money as you are saying you won't have problems. Some days are more difficulty than others, so we need to be prepared for them we our savings. I manage my money well too, I don't waste money with dangerous schemes or gambling games. I try to save most money as possible for a future investment that really can worth or something I can work with.

Real succesful men didn't born in gold cribs, but they made their way managing their money very well, that is a good inspiration to follow, be responsible on your actions and choices.
I really is amazed and surprised by the people who are doing nothing of the big money. As if he did not create anything significant, but at the same time come up with things that bring them huge profits. It's about like Zuckerberg, who has not made the discovery but has earned a huge fortune.

If you have enough money, then you can probably learn how to celebrate. It is true when they are not always enough, even then there is nothing to manage. If you learn how to save a life, we will be able to save money to invest.

I don't spend much at all so my money's building up, but at the same time I'm not saving it. I'm trying to save up to open businesses to grow that capital, there just isn't enough return in saving accounts etc atm.
should not too much spending, as wasteful is a very bad thing and can make you poor, manage the financial is a good thing save your money and use some to do business was a great plan

The problem is that we don't know what to do with the money, we don't have a plan or something like a place to invest to get some revenue...

Since this is a global forum, we can see people that live in rich countries and others that live in poor ones, so we have a lot of different minimum wages here and everyone receive a diferent amount at the end of the month.
Regardless of how much you earn, you still need to learn how to manage your money. That's the basic thing you need to learn, your maturity will determine on the do you manage your money, when you cannot be trusted with small things then for sure in bigger things you will not.

People say broad statements like "You still need to learn how to manage your money" I can't really grab too much info from it. If I was trying to learn to manage my money, what would be my first step? Would I start by saving a financial net to cushion any poor investments forth coming, or do you have to spend money to make money. I've always been pressured to take out a student loan, but a debt of 20$ gives me the heeby jeebies. Managing my money has always been a struggle due to my personal vices, any suggestions on moderating my own desires?
One thing I can say to simplify things out, the real outcome if you are good in managing your money is you will be able to have a savings.. That's it, and there's no other things to do, the outcome will already explain the action.

My parents taught me how to manage money from a young age. I am quite lucky and happy they did that, because most of my friends are always somehow out of money.
And I think it helps when you have build a resistance to commercials, sales and hypes.
