I was actually forced to stop gambling when the value of bitcoin drops since I can't afford to lose big numbers of bitcoin, I am afraid that if I will continue gambling the value of loses I will have bitcoin started to pump again will become very expensive. Sometimes I rather go to faucets just to play some sort of dice game if I am bored. I think it's been a couple of months since I last visit my account in nitrogen sports.

The past few months events does not really affect my gambling.  I gambling according to my mood and will play if I feel like it.  I do not care about crash or skyrocketed price of Bitcoin, I played with bitcoin so bitcoin is equivalent to Bitcoin.. that is how my mind is set.
Yes bitcoin is still bitcoin value if you don't change it into fiat, no matter it is decreasing price or increased as long as you gambled your bitcoin that has no exchange value. For me it is not effect for last few months decreasing of bitcoin value i played on bustadice with my weekly salary from campaign signature. Btw just try to gamble with site it is easy to play and easy to learned especially for those newcomers.

As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?

I didn't bet using Bitcoin during the moon ride in November - December of course, I really treasured my Bitcoin back then, trying to accumulate as much as I could and spend as little as possible, definitely not spending any for gambling. Besides that, the fees are insane back then. So no wins/losses. In January, I started spending BTC again, including for gambling. Made some profits on some CSGO tournament, but losses it all on the current SL i-League swiss stage. Phew.

That is a good decision, but it require a good control, which i think most of the people do not have. People even try to continue even if the bitcoin price is dropping, they just want to play gambling in any cost, and that is the reason that in previous few months most of the people effected too much because of gambling.

Since the price of bitcoin is reduced in last two months very badly, so the people in this will decide to play gambling and get some more dollars from it.If they loss some bitcoin means, they won't think for a while and they got profit in term of bitcoin means it will help them in their future.

It affects the amount of each bet I make. If the price goes up significantly, I'll mostly lowered my bet amount and vice versa. Frankly, as a crypto gambler, we can benefit from such fluctuations. Double win is not a strange thing in crypto gambling.

But its too risky to do that because of too much volatility, gamblers are being affected by the current crypto correction. Though I stopped gambling with cryptocurrency months ago now I know it has a significant effect on every bet that you will made. You will loss a lot if you still continue doing that, better to go on casinos which is more safer than gambling online using crypto right now.
If you do not want to gamble with your coins then set a budget, convert part of your fiat every week to BTC and then gamble with it, when that amount runs out you do not gamble until next week or month depending on the amount you are willing to bet, this is a nice way to bet without having to sacrifice your long term holdings since that BTC was not going to be held for any amount of time anyway.

Actually, we should used too that bitcoin price dump and pump but last previous two months in December and January bitcoin really dump and it has given a lot of affect on our gambling win/lose but if we know our budget and use only few coins in every week then sure gambling not give us big lose.
In 2017 i did betting btc 0.1 in a week and when bitcoin was starting to dump then i did bet on 0.01 in a week.

When the prices are high, I can gamble with few bits and I'm confident to gamble with few mBTC's because the price of bitcoin is really high. But now that the price has moved downwards I can't get to what it used to be. I'm diverting now into altcoins when I gamble as I can't take the low price of bitcoin and I feel regret when gambling it although the fees are greatly low.
Yes and when bitcoin price start dumping we use some more bitcoin to play with, which really effect our gambling but at that time i reduce the my gambling limit a little more and through this way i just tried my best to prevent myself from a big lost. It is expected that very soon bitcoin price will recover its position and once again we will start playing gambling with a big amount of money.
And during those times I'm not comfortable of gambling  as the price has been quite down and due to the fact that I gamble when I'm on the mood it's not helping me anymore. I won't gamble if the price is down but the good thing here is that I can gamble with different altcoins that are accepted from various casino's.
Talking about altcoins, I see it as a way to even buy most of those altcoins and gamble them all the way, knowing gives you the chance when the market recovers to have a huge stand in the market and be able to have a pretty huge bankroll. It is just the amount of betting that it has affected, but in the normal sense, nothing really changed that much and the quick transaction and low fee has even made everything even better.

Why would it even affect anything in the first place? One thing you will just always have in mind is the value and the possibilities of even having more to buy to be able to have more stands in your game, but the whole mentality has not changed, you still end up doing your thing the way you have, and so on.

The only difference I see here is just the btc to usd value, but it is all the same, as the main essence was to see if you can get lucky to increase your btc anyway, not the USD.

70% my asset has gone.

Did you sell all your coins already?

If not, then this loss may be temporary one because once the market starts moving up then you can start recovering from this losses. If you want to recover back your losses faster then it is the best time to start buying some more coins to average down your price.
People who don’t sell or lose all their coins shouldn’t worry about their loss because this loss is a temporary loss and as you said that when the market of bitcoin will rise, he will easily recover all his loss in no time. The thing here about which one should be worried is that what will that person do next who has lost or sold out all his btc’s because he would not be having a chance on his side to stay in market and he would be having regrets when the process will rise again.
Yes, I wonder why anyone will be losing 70% of their asset in book and decide to turn it physical. As long as they are still there, the market will recover and then the 70% decrease can just turn to 500% increase within few months, so I really do not see any fuss about that.

As long as you did not borrow money from anyone, they are yours and you understood the volatility, then you are fine. However, with respect to how the market affected my gambling, I will say nothing has changed.

To me i personally converting my fiat into bitcoin from time to time for playing gambling therefore i do not think that it has effected my gambling too much, because for most of the time i play gambling up to a limit either the price of bitcoin is increasing or decreasing.

No dream is too big and no dreamer is too small
I think I am a little lucky this year so far because I am currently up, I usually does not play games where I need to play based on luck.
My game is sports betting and I have more wins compared to my loses, I have proven one thing that is necessary which is the money management.
When you are good in money management, it will help you stay in the game and you can recover your loses.

I gambled less in December and January but it was not because of the price increase and then the crash it was simply the season, I was very busy with my work and when you add the holidays then I simply did not had the time to dedicate to gambling, even now I'm quite busy but finally I'm slowly getting rid of my work load and I think I will be able to gamble again next month.

Today I have bet on South Africa. They made my day happy. I have got around 0.002 BTC profit on this bet alone but most of the time. I goes to choose the wrong side to choose and loose my money but good day.
From the past few I was doing betting on Cricket, Tennis and Volleyball. Expect betting I did not find any of the best move on the gambling platform. Dice and virtual games will never work better.

Normally, its affect me when price of bitcoin increase, then minimal bets in bitcoins are really high when you calculate in dollars. Gamblers should be aware of minimal and maximal bets, to take care of bankroll and to be able to adjust beta according to that bankroll. When I calculate how much I plan to spend I do it dollars, and its not same when you gamble on minimal bet 1 mBTC, with most games 100 dollars or 9 mBTC doesn't worth much when you can play just couple bets.
First bitcoin rise affected my gambling habits, now I'm fine again, I found where to gamble and adjusted my habit's to current bitcoin price and my bankroll. This fall didn't affect me all, I have more bitcoins in 100 dollars then when price were over 15000 dollars.

It didn't affected my wins and losses, the thing that affects me is that I can gamble like there's no more tomorrow because of the big spread from fractional gambling. Unlike before when the price of bitcoin when it was not that high, I'm very conservative when it comes on budgeting my btc's.

I didn't care about gambling anymore in the past few months because i have truly believed that this industry was designed and made to make you loose , and all the profits will go to the house , these people wouldn't have went through all the troubles to allow you  collecting all the profits in the end . The only true bets are those where there isn't any third party involved and the outcome can be random at every single time , not manipulated by the house .
