As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?
When the prices are high, I can gamble with few bits and I'm confident to gamble with few mBTC's because the price of bitcoin is really high. But now that the price has moved downwards I can't get to what it used to be. I'm diverting now into altcoins when I gamble as I can't take the low price of bitcoin and I feel regret when gambling it although the fees are greatly low.
Yes and when bitcoin price start dumping we use some more bitcoin to play with, which really effect our gambling but at that time i reduce the my gambling limit a little more and through this way i just tried my best to prevent myself from a big lost. It is expected that very soon bitcoin price will recover its position and once again we will start playing gambling with a big amount of money.

Does it even matter when you gamble with btc? I mean you're gambling with the same number of satoshis whether btc rises or dumps. And the value doesn't even come into play until you withdraw your earnings.
If the value of bitcoin changes, definitely the amount of loss or profit will also vary accordingly. For instance, I place a bet of 1 bitcoin (which is definitely very insane and never going to happen) and at that time, it was 10k dollars but I lost the bet. Next day bitcoin becomes 15k dollars, that means I actually lost 5k dollars more. Therefore, it is stupid to gamble with bitcoin at the first place rather gambling itself is wrong no matter how it is done.

this past few months, gambling for me is like a roller coaster wherein i have to go down  before i go up. As gambler, i've seen a lot of changes  in me with regards to my actions and opinions. whenever the price rise up, i follow my instinct  and go with the gambling. And if the price go down and loses, i try to to reflect. Was it worthy? am i doing good?: stuff like that play in my mind and nothing happen. i just go with the flow and try my luck. lol]Smiley

As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?

It affects the amount of each bet I make. If the price goes up significantly, I'll mostly lowered my bet amount and vice versa. Frankly, as a crypto gambler, we can benefit from such fluctuations. Double win is not a strange thing in crypto gambling.
I do not think that it effect my gambling so much, because i always calculate my betting first in fait and they only ply to me selected amount of money. I never depend on bitcoin price. If the price goes higher the i play with little amount and when the price goes down then i convert my fiat and play with some more amount of money.
I think the price is not affected but after December high transactions fee definitely affected everyone. I totally stopped to do BTC transactions. and I also calculate my bet amount in fiat and place my bet. So the bitcoin price fluctuation will not affect my gambling.

yeah, I am thinking the same with you and this is why I don't use bitcoin for placing a bet and only use the altcoin. I think if I cannot make a profit in trading then I don't want to use my bitcoin to place a bet and it is better to use altcoin. but if the fee can reduces maybe I will use bitcoin again to place a bet but I still don't want to use big money to playing gambling.

As for me, I completely turn away my back from gambling online because of the price of the bitcoin. The price is in dump so it will require more bitcoin to spend and I can't afford losing bitcoin this way. I think that it had affected me in good way because I am now doing other things instead of playing online like reading books, going out and etc., which are also better than playing gambling. When I am playing, I sometimes lose track of time but since I am prohibiting myself to play, I am able to earn proper food at proper time now.

That's good for you.The price dump had become so helpful to you.For me,it does not affect my gambling habit since i only gamble occassionally and i have set already my funds intended for gambling so as not to be abusive though.Setting limits for myself has been so helpful to me too since i have not lose bigger funds already unlike before when i was so addicted with gambling.

I have joined Nitrogen sports since I want to try something new with a thrill like betting in sports but when the value of bitcoin drops I need to freeze my account because of high transaction fees and a big amount of bitcoin I need to use when betting, I feel like I need to hold it for quite sometime and wait till the value increase again.

But its too risky to do that because of too much volatility, gamblers are being affected by the current crypto correction. Though I stopped gambling with cryptocurrency months ago now I know it has a significant effect on every bet that you will made. You will loss a lot if you still continue doing that, better to go on casinos which is more safer than gambling online using crypto right now.

And during those times I'm not comfortable of gambling  as the price has been quite down and due to the fact that I gamble when I'm on the mood it's not helping me anymore. I won't gamble if the price is down but the good thing here is that I can gamble with different altcoins that are accepted from various casino's.

70% my asset has gone.

Did you sell all your coins already?

If not, then this loss may be temporary one because once the market starts moving up then you can start recovering from this losses. If you want to recover back your losses faster then it is the best time to start buying some more coins to average down your price.
People who don’t sell or lose all their coins shouldn’t worry about their loss because this loss is a temporary loss and as you said that when the market of bitcoin will rise, he will easily recover all his loss in no time. The thing here about which one should be worried is that what will that person do next who has lost or sold out all his btc’s because he would not be having a chance on his side to stay in market and he would be having regrets when the process will rise again.

Of course it didn't affect my winning/losing at all, but i gambled way less bitcoins than when their price was smaller, but i still gambled using same USD amount. I think it's same with everyone else, maybe some gamblers didn't play these weeks at all due to huge bitcoins, and their transaction fee, prices.
I have a system where i allocate a fixed amount of money that i use to gamble but due to the recent huge drop, I took a step for a while because i know that if the value goes up i would have gambled more money that i would initially budgeted.

Luckily I'm not daily gambler since I'm gamble only when I have time and really interest for the match especially soccer match !

I'm personally focus on invest rather than gambling because gamble / trading make your profit or loss increase/decrease in short time , that's why I'm not ready for that

Yes.Both loss and profit will occur in gambling. When I had a free time, I will play few games in gambling. I was addicted to the gambling, since it need my money to spend.
I don't want to waste my hard earned money in few games. For that I will play the online games instead of gambling.

People are started to use alternative crypto currencies for gambling because the high transaction fee for the past few months but now the condition is getting normal and the fee getting cheaper.
But the price of bitcoin almost dropped 60% since January so it may affect the people who won the bets because they actually lose their winning amount by 60% due to the price fall.

Bitcoin price nothing to do with winning or losing because that is the risk we need to take when you invest money in cryptocurrencies.

If you win certain bitcoin and didn't sell means your not really under loss because this may be just temporary losses. If you hold them for long and prices recover back then you will get back your profits. The main point here is don't sell your coin in a panic otherwise you're not making any losses.
Good point, if you win then continue holding your bitcoin even the price fell then you are still in a good status, you are still in green in terms of bitcoin, just take time to analyze and understand what are those events that will bring bitcoin value to increase again, don't play with your emotions just continue to play little by little while waiting for the time to cash out your winnings.

It affects the gamblers in this months more than in the past quarters that is  only a minimal amount. For some gamblers its not since if they are adopting the current prices and to the new gamblers or the gamblers who will deposit needs more bitcoins or altcoin to be fit to the minimum amount that a gambling requires to start.

As owner of a gambling guide - Bitcoin Gambling 101, I am curious as to how the crazy December and then January price changes affected your gambling wins/ losses?
No doubt that there should be no relationship between the win/loss with the price but the amount that I was placing to bet I reduced into less Because that time the value of the bitcoin was high and was not much easy for me to have risk with that bigger amount .
A new thing that I seen in the gambling Field with all trucks and stretagy play , I found few of the gambling sites changed Thier script to make big los for the gamblers and make big profit for Thier casino that was not fair .
Well here I am not happy and not sad to make gambling bad experience because these are totally like the zero value games and here we can't expect anything better , only luck and house edge will work very well .
