There's no doubt bitcasino has a different RTP than some other casinos. Played there for 2+ years and have noticed it a lot compared to other sites.
HOWEVER, they do still pay.
They allow bitcoin deposits.
They have a great variety of providers
And they pay instantly.
those 3 things above are a big deal if you can understand you have a slightly lesser chance of winning here.
We all know game providers give casinos the option to change RTP (it was proven with the Play'N'Go provider a long time ago).
I've had losing streaks last months on sites before. Sites that I think the RTP is higher than bitcasinos...
I think you're just on the wrong end of the RTP (bad luck)

Each case is different, if the odds are 1 in 10 and you played 10k bets and never won a single one, then yes, it does look pretty suspicious, could happen but is certainly not likely. I generally don't play if I can't verify my bets, simple as that, online casinos can do all sort of things to cheat even though they really don't need to since you are losing in the long term anyways.

Hard to say how I feel when I read stories like this. On some level, like LFC said, I feel sorry for them because I know gambling addicts myself, and it's always a very complicated situation with emotions and the way the addiction just ruins lives. Not only their lives but those around them.

And then there are of course those whales for whom 100s of bitcoin isn't really something they'd miss, as they've made their money by being early investors. 200k is "only" 20 BTC after all. I'm not saying it's any less serious but there are definitely bitcoin whales out there who'd plop around 20 BTC without blinking because it didn't cost them anything.

this is new, not every day a newbie loss so much money on gambling.
