For doing business in this market you need to know many things about this market. I suggest you invest for long time and you also need to provide a good privacy for your coin.

I have lost Hugh amount of bitcoin, and I believe some person's here too have gone through same. Can we please share our experience and lessons.

My story :My wallet was hacked, by God knows who. That was 2017 may. I logged in to my blockchain wallet to notice that 0.9  btc I have been accumulating Since 2016 has been taken. Leaving less than $5 worth of bitcoin for me.

My lesson :  don't trust anyone with your crypto, laptop or password. Because I believe someone close to me did that.

Thanks for ths great advise bro, that dont trust anyone with your crypto,or some password into your wallet, its would give us  good lesson being as a crypto earner, while in my own experience also,i became a victim of hacking situation in my MEW wallet,i dont know why they can access my wallet, because only things i can do is looking my altcoins on those my  wallet using my private key,but i found later after that situation happen thats its not secure to used private  key when looking to my etherwallet.

Take heart bro, you don't trust people with your life even your close associate. Anybody can betray you when it comes to money. You've just learnt your lesson but sorry this has to come in a hard way

I have not lose any bitcoin or altcoin by hacking but I have friends like you who store their private key in the notepad or todo list app. They are more likely to lose their cryptocurrency if their phone will be stolen or hacked.

It is a sad thing to see that you lose your money or even hear that someone else did. I'm sorry for that. I would advise that if you still have some spare funds, you should still consider investing in a secure coin. Do not let this loss hold you from securing your finance future by investing in this great market. Be sure to be more safe in your dealings this time around. Only invest in coins you have technically analysed and are sure it's a good investment.

I'm sorry to lose your big bitcoin, which is important now that you're back to recover bitcoin for investment. all things can happen to the world of crypto let alone many big risks that we will face, whether the assets we have hit by hack or stolen by our closest people who also know all that we have, our most important ourselves to remain cautious things like that do not happen again. my advice if you have a savings account of money, now is the right time to buy bitcoin while the price is still quite low and affordable.

Didn't you get notification when someone tries to log into your account? Blockchain wallet have this feature but this doesn't mean it is not vulnerable. We should either use hardware wallet or paper wallet to store our bitcoins for long term holding. Web wallets like block chain is not fully secure and sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about your big loss. 0.9 BTC obviously a huge amount. But the good thing is you are recovering, right? Good luck with your future.
Your complaint about crypto is a bitter truth. Everything has a chance to attack by the hackers. Laptop, PC or smartphone all devices can hack anytime. That's why I suggest you buy a hardware wallet like ledger or trezor. Never save your wallet key or phrase code in online. Try to write in offline and use hardware wallet to avoid all those scam and hacks. Though you mentioned who can steal your money. I suggest to catch him/ her and give a lesson for his sin.

The problem is usual during trading mostly hacked specially if the person involve not have enough knowledge during trading time. But i know you have an idea for trading. additonal inputs, just dont open many times your wallet for you to your wallet not be visible to the hacker. If you want to just open it to etherscan for security.

Why don't you use hardware wallet? I think that everyone who has large amount of BTC or other alts must have this device. One wallet and no problems!

The best way to protect yourself - don't tell anyone about your assets.

with the price now of course many people who suffer losses because it bought at a price much more expensive especially if the person bought bitcoin at the beginning of the year at which time it was very expensive
but if you want to be patient you may be able to reduce your losses because bitcoin still has a great chance to get back to the high price

My first and I hope last case when I loose some of my coins. I think in some of google table I filllednot of my eth address but my secret password. I think so) now I hide password in place were hard to find and made same mistake)
Ouch, that hurts man, but I have seen this in action, when I invested in an ico I received lots of messages on slack with links that were phishing links, knowing it was a scam I never clicked on them but some people did and they were asked for their private key and some people were naive enough to give that information away, as you may guess they lost all their coins.

This is not a big loss, luckily, but it can hurt. Why did not you use TREZOR? you would not have the situation ...

I think everybody should use a hardwallet or special offline computer for holding cryptocurrencies. There are a lot of stories about loosing coins from unsafe wallets.

I've also lost my token on my wallet nor do I understand why someone can steal my coins just like that. several months ago I was very disappointed with the situation. because I can not do anything for what happened to me.
the lesson that I can take is never give a secret key to anyone for any reason. beware of phishing websites, hackers lurk you

You can't blame it to anyone but yourself Smiley. Why don't you set up 2FA for your wallet? I think if your 2FA security everything would be different Smiley. At least this hacker still left $5 for you. LOL. Try to be careful next time and don't forget to set up password for your computer as well to make sure that you're the only one who can access to your computer Smiley

I dont have any experience like this, that someone close to you then do get your bitcoin,  thats very insane.
I got lost my bitcoin from the moment that ive forgot my 12 phrase, i remember that i do save it on a notepad inside the download folder, then when the times that i need to recover my fund, i lost that notepad elsewhere and i cannot find it. Then i realize that i erase all the documents inside that folder.

Lesson is dont store your back-up phrase on any gadgets, write it on a paper and hide it in a very safest place that you know.
