Alt of @hugeblack
I'm seeing more newbie accounts asking general questions and the topic is not locked after that. I don't know if such topics facilitate account farming, but it is better to stop creating them.

Thanks for your opinion, and you are right. But I just wanna know how someone know about Bitcoin and This Forum. Regarding to the Contribution, I think someone has right and business outside the internet, so in some reasons they just have account inactive for years.

Although, your thread isn't necessary at all but still you want to know that how we came to this forum and started learning about Bitcoin then here you go. I visited this forum in 2016 and before that I didn't know anything about Bitcoin but when I registered my account on this forum, I started my journey of learning about Bitcoin and I have learnt almost everything about Bitcoin from this forum. I read the white paper of Bitcoin to get the concept behind creation of it and surely that helped me a lot.

The learning about Bitcoin started from this forum but after that I learnt some good information about Bitcoin from books, YouTube videos, and also from trading. Bitcointalk forum has been a life changer for me because after registering into this forum I gained a lot of skills that are helping me even till this day.

I'm still learning a lot about Bitcoin from the reputed members of the forum who make very good and informative posts about Bitcoin, and at the same time I'm sharing my knowledge and understanding about Bitcoin as a contribution to this forum. I must say that this forum has taught me a lot of things about economics and trading that many people can't even learn in universities. This forum is the best place for anyone who want to learn about Bitcoin and crypto-market. Surely, I won't be able to tell you everything about my journey in this post but I hope it will be helpful for you.

Yes it is not Necessary,  and I said it on the thread. But I just wanna know how you know about this Forum, and especially how do you know about Bitcoin?
Op lock this thread because nothing is here to discuss. And why do want to know the date and the duration of my account in the forum? And if you want to know the duration which I have registered my account in the forum then you can check my profile and see the registration date and know the period or the length of the account in the forum. Op if I understand your topic and the opening statement and your bolded sentence here, telling you my account registration date is very far from know more about the forum.

If you want to know more about the forum from active users then you have to restructure the subject and content because what you are saying here and the content plus the topic two different things. And that is by the way. Op please just click my profile then you see my registration date. That is very simple . There should be no argument for that.

My own account has been registered since November 21, 2017, 03:38:32 PM, At that time I knew about Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Forum through friends who like to make money from the Internet.

How about you guys? Is There Anything Older Than My Account? And how did you know about Bitcoin at that time?

Ok!
I understand you very well. You just want a medium to tell us that despite that you are a newbie with 2 merits that you have known this forum for the past 5 or 6yrs. Congratulations.
But then, people are not recognised based on how long they have been in the forum, but how impactful they are the little time they spend here. Look at this account - PowerGlove, he is barely 1 year and few months but he has impacted positively to the forum.
Impactful in this case includes a combination of other definitions, such as noticeable and useful. The more contributions made to the forum, the more influential this account is in the eyes of the community.

The age of the account may have absolutely nothing to do with the above, but the older the account and the longer the period of activity, the higher the likelihood that this account will be influential. Such an account may or may not have extensive knowledge about the bitcoin. It all depends on the personal zeal of the account owner to acquire new knowledge.

In fact, the time spent online (registration date) is just a counter in the account profile. Nothing more.

An indicator that an account is not new to questions about bitcoin can only be its answers / posts. And even better - his actions, that is, the practical application of knowledge about the bitcoin.

How long has your account been registered with Bitcointalk?
What's the point of this topic? Its not like this information is hidden so you have to ask the others about date of their registration.

It looks to me like an attempt to create mega threads with a useless discussion where signature spammers will fulfil their quota. There is a large amount of nonsense like this in the gambling and Bitcoin discussion boards.

Yes it is not Necessary,  and I said it on the thread. But I just wanna know how you know about this Forum, and especially how do you know about Bitcoin?

Then lock this thread. As you can see, the majority of users here point you to the pointlessness of this thread, almost no one deals with the subject.

How long has your account been registered with Bitcointalk? Maybe this is not so important to ask or state.

You already have the feelings of asking this being less important since it's something anyone could easily glance through from the user's profile, so what is that interesting aspects of it that warrant talking more extensively on what had already being made provisioned for anyone interested.

However, I'm sure there will be a sense of pride if we are recognized or acknowledge that with our Bitcointalk account we have been registered on the Bitcointalk.org forum for quite a long time.

Being a new era bitcointalk community member or an old timer does change anything about whom you're on the forum and in person.

And that can prove that we have been following Bitcoin for a long time and are not new to Bitcoin.

What about an experienced person in bitcoin but just joining bitcointalk community now, should we treat the same person the same way other newbies appears.

Jolly? I think I've heard that name before. hmm
I don't want to tell you, you can look at my profile tab, are you too busy so you need to ask something that you can find out by looking at the member profile tab?

Apart from that, you also make this question in capital letters because maybe you feel this question is very important so that everyone can see your question. Come on, surely you have other questions that are more logical than questions like this

And since you want to know my account was created in the 90s before the creation of bitcoin itself.

Then you must have persuaded Satoshi to make Bitcoin, because your BTT account and all the alts you use wouldn't make sense then, would they? Roll Eyes

I know that it isn't locked now but I am pretty sure that it was at some point and for whatever reason OP decided to unlock it, hence my question.

OP, you can ask about the logged in time for forum members. It's not a public information so you may find some people interested to give their input in your thread.

To do what with it? Pair and contrast? There have been many who come here to make funny posts but this here is just comical. Such a grand way to announce your presence back on the forum, don't you think?.
You stated it's not important to state or ask yet you went along and did it anyway. It

I'm tempted to believe you were feeling sleepy while typing this but if I were to answer your question on if anything is older than your account, the answer should be Bitcoin.

So with how long you've been listed here will it always be memorable if you don't make any contributions?

You want to know about someone who knows forums and bitcoin then go to this thread, have a look there. [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members

Once you find the answer then better lock this thread.

Having an old registered account on this forum does not prove how knowledgeable the person is about bitcoin. Many people have created accounts even since 2011 and have been inactive on the forum and don't even know much about the progress of bitcoin. There are also many people who have not even visited this forum or have an account here yet but have been around the blockchain for quite some time now.

What I'm saying is this: the account creation date does not really matter around here; what people are known and recognised for is the knowledge they carry and experience they have about bitcoin. Some people have been here just a little over a year, but their contributions to the forum and blockchain have been incredible, and it's what they could be remembered for, not by when they created their account. Most times, maturity is not measured by age but by what someone has upstairs.

Sometimes I wonder what was the person thinking before they concluded to make a post public?

If you had ask when was the first time users made their first transaction with bitcoin it would have been better than asking about something you can quietly go to their profile page to check…

And since you want to know my account was created in the 90s before the creation of bitcoin itself.
