There is no period how long we hold the coin to get the better price when we want to sell the coin, we must set the target how much we can get from the amount of coin that you have, and sell it when the price is your target to sell it, and the price must higher than ICO, that is the best time I think
I think you should have the perfect timing to sell because its up to you if you need it urgently. But if you want to sell with a high price or with a high value you can wait until you are satisfy with the price.
Waiting for bitcoin to grow is an absolutely normal process for people who own this asset. It is difficult to say whether they are doing it right, because the bitcoin rate is absolutely unpredictable. But if a person is not afraid to take risks, then at some point he can find a lot!
its depended by your plan, if you have already in profits and need money then you can, this BTC and ETH also low price now but coming days increasing price hence wait on this year ending surely you get big profits
To be honest, it is not continuously dropping, there are rises and falls on the go. If you can truckle those, you can get some profit. Anyway do not attempt selling with losses by getting panic.

If you already holding the Altcoins hold it till you get the profile. Presently crypto market struggling to stabilise. So this is not the time to sell it. April may be good for crypto market.

According to my analysis, it will start to recover in summers like June and July and I am sure it will keep on rising after that. At this time it is n a correction mode because it has grown huge. But I am sure after this correction done we will see a huge rise in bitcoin again.
there is no absolute answer to that question you made. maybe in several month until the bitcoin prices is recover, and if you can do some good cutloss maybe now is the best time to do some cutloss but in the full risk of getting more loss. it is better to hold in my opinion until its prices recovered.
It is simple for me - until it hits your target or until you until price is against you and you can't hold bag for long time. You should use stop loss, IMO.

May or June shall be good. Few of my HODLs are quite obvious like NEO, ETH and QTUM. For better and higher returns, I have zeroed in on LSK, PRG, XLM and GTO. Have a look at these coins, they're solid ones 
Now I am converting my ether and bitcoin and ether to some potential altcoins . I am now buying the tokens which is actually having working product , great team , and dividend paying coins . Instead following hype market pump and dump trap. I would suggest tron , eos now best investment because of main net release .
I believe until you are able to profit from it, hold on and do not sell. if you sell now, then you lose. I hope the price will be restored soon.
Before selling, there are a few aspects that we need to consider and one of those would be the coin’s current value. As to how long we should be hodling a coin actually depends on you and your goals. You get to decide as to when, just make sure that you are notmlosing your investment.
Just hold it until you reach the highest price, you just need patience to wait for high price before you sell your bitcoin, Do not be excited to sale. no matter how long you wait, Keep on holding until you earned big profit, Relax and Just patience to be rewarded.
As for me, i would not prefer to hold at a long time and if ever i see a little percentage of getting profit then i usually sell and buy for the next cycle of lower value, all coins are volatile and what we are going to do is to analyze its movement before its too late of not recovering anymore. I always change those stagnant coin to those very volatile one. 
Until you're satisfied in your profit, I base on pivot points in my sell orders, just remember be a little less greedy! 
Until the market is pumping continuously, also selling your coin is the easy way to have profit but make sure when you sell it, the market are not dumping because surely you have loss. I think its better to hold your coin then sell it when the value is so much higher orsell coin which is have higher value and have potential. Jump to:
