I distributed my portfolio as follows: 30% in bitcoin, 30% - ethereum, 40% in 10 alts.
That's pretty nice.
I am only trying to store some coins for now. All that I have is Bitcoin and a few Ethereum that is worth the holding.

Honestly the exact number of their tokens do not know, so every day tokens come with bounty companies.  I recommend this way of earning tokens for the long term.

At the moment i have more than 20 different coins, but i think this amount too many and difficult to manage it. I wil reduce the total coin and chooce 10 different coin only that the most potential one, because i see now all mayor crypto going up at the same times, so by hold the best one is great strategy, so i can make better profit.

Right now I am holding about 15 different coins, however, i am not expecting to make money from all of them, maybe 4 or 5 top coin will make money for me. Currently, my top 5 coins are XLM, LISK, NEO, NPXS, MCO. I have lots of trust in these 5 coins and planning to hold long term.

I have invested in about five altcoins right now plus two ICO's. A lot of the altcoins I have been holding are the ones I received from doing bounties and some from airdrops.

I already answer here to this post. But It must be good when the ROI is huge to focus on 5 top coins. Because less difficulty to sell it on the exchange.

If we have a large fund then there is no harm in using the investment system as you do but it would be more beneficial if you focus with a little altcoin but with a great value because with a few percent altcoin gain you get a big profit, so think again the steps that you grab it now.

I hold maybe 20 coins but in fact only 5 of the 20 coins constitute the majority of my holding, I just keep other altcoins as some of them can really gain too much value in the future.

I'm invested in around 15 alt coins (xrp, icx, iota, neo, ven, req, wabi, req, wtc, zec, xmr, ark, xrb, xlm). They've all met my criterias for investing and I have confidence in them. I'm around 70% altcoins 30% ethereum/bitcoin atm which I feel is a bit on the aggresive side. Is spreading a wide net a better strategy with altcoins or should you swing for the fences with just a few and rely on bitcoin/ethereum as your stable investments?
I will do it too. I think you have chosen the right strategy and invested in good coins.

You have a strong altcoins portfolio, good one for you. I hope they bring you good returns in the near future. The more altcoins you invest in, the more the risk involved but also the more the profit potential

I limit holding to less than that, I only own between 7-10 coins. Mostly low-valued but with good movability and can be disposed easily for still a good enough profit. I say that because I don't have that much capital to spare, and also, even if I do, I don't think that I have the capacity to invest in those high-valued coins. I would rather diversify my coins to give me a fighting chance to at least gain profit from many paths as supposed to only focusing on a few, if I invest in those high-priced coins.

Over 10. Some are coming from bounties and some are personal investments. I'm not willing to hold them all, I'll try to sell some of them when I find an opportunity.
