During the 2013/2014 rise to nearly $1,400/coin, how many bitcoins did you have?

And do you regret not selling if you didn't?

I didn`t have any bitcoins at that time.

I heard about bitcoin back in 2013 but didn`t trust it and thought it was a ponzi scam.

Now i regret about that.
Just let go of the past man, we cannot go back to that time and that is already 3 years so we should have move on already. Honestly, if we will just be positive we can see that there are still more opportunity even in the current time.

yeah better move on 2013 is 2013 it wil never come back unless you have this time machine that enable you to travel back in time.  I agree that to view it possitively and stop regreting , you will see that there are more opportunity for bitcoin today to have a profit than way back 2013.  If the same stuff happen this year, i don't have doubt that you will still do what you have done in  2013.

I don't have many bitcoins when the rise happened, because i always sell all my bitcoins when i received my bitcoins from some services. Maybe i left around 0.035-0.07 bitcoins during the rise.
Lots of people missed that chance of that big bitcoin rise... lots of people had nothing that time.
the reason of that because bitcoin was not that much adopted among the people. lots of people didn't started trusting bitcoin (almost 80% of current bitcoin users started bitcoin after that big rise)

I had a few but i sold out way early @ like $200 on the way up and then rebought @ like $400.  Then sold again @ $600 bought again @ $900 etc etc etc.  In the end it was months and months of crappy trading and i lost money on it.  Also many people had funds in mtgox at this time so only a few got the real gains out the rise.

At that time I didnt have much because I didnt believed firt that bitcoin was a good opportunity for investing so I learned more about how the bitcoin works and how the price is going but didnt invested much.

I don't think most of people will not reached to the bitcoin and they were out of this community. As of now I have some bitcoins with me to sell some bitcoins. Actually at present I running out of money and without job. Hoping everything will be solved soon.

If you bought the bitcoin 4 years ago, at any time during that year, you might have been very rich now.

im join bitcoin in middle 2014, then im not have any bitcoin in that's time but in the end of 2014 i have arround 7bitcoin. now i have only 1bitcoin Sad
What happen to your bitcoins, why it decreased? I think the value of bitcoins will only decrease or increase. If you were able your bitcoins then you could already enjoy the value of what you are holding now, the price is really good compared to the past years after the major fall back from $1,200.

i have needs, i withdraw my bitcoin each month to buying something, like smartphone, or just for paying electric fee. my last biggest activity is building mining rig with 4vga (2xR9 290, 390, 280x ) and building office computer i5 skylake. thats why my bitcoin decreasing.

I have a few bitcoins and I have used them to buy graphics cards to mine Ethereum and then I sell the Ethereum to buy bitcoin.

I have around 2 bitcoins before the halving come, so it's also during the rise and so far i get much profit during the rise and now i have 3 bitcoins.

So you have made 50% profit in the last two months, that is good achievement. Did you trade or gamble?
I think it was taken from gambling because in trading it is hard to make that kind of profit. Between the two you mentioned, I would prefer trading because it gives me more knowledge that I could use upon doing it to be more experienced and expert in the future.

May be I think he lost in gambling or trading or he have sold his coins and converted to fiat when price went higher, but he would have saved to 7 btc till date then he would be enjoying some higher profits.

F-ing zero.  I think that's just about the time I first really became aware of bitcoin, when it was starting to get mainstream press.   And at that point I thought it was scam internet money, like the Flooz that whoopie goldberg promoted back in 1999 or so.  But that's OK because I'm sure I would have lost tons of money had I bought in then.

Only in 2015 did I lay my skepticism to rest and buy in.  I can't imagine what the topics are going to be like here in another 5 years.
