I never know how many politicians here have casino as gambling is illegal in my country. But I think they have casino in somewhere without anyone know so they can still get the profit for them personally. But their casino will not operate publicly as that will attract attention from many people including our government. But I guess some government officials knows that some politicians have casino besides of illegal business because they gets the money from those people. Many corrupt officials that protect the illegal business from their politicians so that is difficult to identify and know who is behinds on that business.
My question is, do we have any notable casino that is been run or owned by any known politician like Trump or another leader?
Its a conflict of interest and will tarnish his reputation if one politician manages casinos; Trump's case is very different; he is perceived as a businessman more than a casino operator.

Politicians are very deceitful and manipulative. They create companies registered as limited liability companies and in this way it is almost impossible to verify who the owners of these companies are. Then this company of theirs creates a casino and in the casino the shareholder structure becomes the politician's limited liability company and they will appoint an anonymous manager so that people think that this manager is the owner of the casino. In this way, people never know who the real owners of many physical casinos really are.

From the experience I have gathered in my country, I know that most politicians does not like to make some of their business publicly know by the society, they can invest or have shares with some casinos but you can not tell it's there's unless you have an inner information. There's this politician in my country, he is into so many business that was just uncovered recently. I do believe there are a ton of gambling businesses owned by the politician or at least the casino has no direct owner with the casino but they still connect with the politician. Depends on which countries you are talking about. Different countries have different laws. While in the US there may be politicians with a hand in the casino business, in other countries gambling/gambling businesses are forbidden for either the entire population or certain people.

Lately, politicians have not limited their activities to fighting for political offices and positions but rather have dived into so many other sectors such as interest in Tech and cryptocurrency as we have seen lately with some global leaders getting to the center stage in both tech and cryptocurrency.
one thing about politician is that they have access to a lot of money and that allows them to invest into things in different sectors while keeping the business totally separate from them. if a politician is a tech savvy or someone that understands the profit that is associated with gambling business, they will certainly want to invest in it even if they would not want to bring themselves out for the public to know that they own such platforms.the reason why we can't point out politicians that are into gambling business is because of the way the public views gambling and the fact that they are public office holders who are assumed to be responsible and hence should not be seen owning certain kind of business.

Most definitely politicians owns notable businesses in the world today but they make it so hidden that no one knows they own such business so as for them not to be questioned about where their sources of income is coming from, I was having a conversation with someone about how politicians make so much money, and this was how I came to understand and found out that they can actually own a business but would buy it in the name of someone so they the rightful owner won't be let out. Most of the time politicians hide their business if there’s a negative implication to the public like casino, mining and so on. Most of the casino owners are donor of politicians to protect their business despite concerns from the public.
In my country, businesses is not being disclosed by politicians due to their SALN declaration might not tally properly since they typically corrupting funds. So as for owning a casino this is not typically being disclosed especially for a politician.

Even if a politician wants to go into the casino business, I am not sure they will want to put themselves in the front of it. Unless it is a person who is venturing into politics after being known to own a casino. Politicians are involved in various businesses, and some are known while they try to hide others. This is to say that they may be some politicians currently in the casino business, but they will hide it knowing that some members of the public who they may need their votes someday will have a bad impression of them.

They don't want to see their reputation becomes bad if public know they have a casino in their city or other city. So they will keep their gambling business secretly and only those who closest to them that will know and visit on their casino.
If politicians can dive into sectors like tech, cryptocurrency, and housing estate, there is nothing to stop them from owning a gambling business if that can fetch them money.

In general I don't think there are many, and in view of the answers in the thread there doesn't seem to be, because normally there are incompatibility laws that prohibit it, but even if there is no explicit incompatibility and one can be for example minister of infrastructure and have at the same time a casino, the fact that gambling doesn't have a very good reputation in society I think is a deterrent.
Of course, if we were to start searching we would find politicians who have a certain stake in a fund that controls several companies, including a casino, and things like that.

I don’t know of any casino that is currently owned by a known politician, the fact that none of them is listed online doesn’t mean that no politician owns a casino; you know it’s possible for a casino to operate without he owner doxing himself so a politician could take this approach to create his own casino and operate it under the radar without exposing his identity to the public.
I know for sure that some of the online casinos are owned by politicians and they may hire another person to run the business to hide their identities, many politicians from my part of the world have engaged on that way lf corrupt practices and they have been getting away with it since no one can trace those assets to them, the casino is one business that requires a lot of funding to establish but it also generates a lot of profits on the long run so definitely many of those politicians will fine casinos as save heaven to hide their stolen fund.

I gamble in different places and in different casinos, but I never wanted to know if it is owned by a politician. However, there is no major sector where big politicians and social workers have not invested, they have investments in almost every place.

The reason is they might be excluded in the voting preferences of some religious organizations that are against gambling that vote as block, so these politicians decide to work in the background as silent shareholders; they have their own men to represent them in these gambling platforms.
