No matter it is only 0.001 btc, 0.01 btc, 0.1 btc, you should hold it because we never know if the price increase so high. I am sure many of us still have a various amount of bitcoin in their wallet, and they still hold it. And I believe that all of us are satoshi millionaire except people who leave bitcoin world because of disappointing from the market conditions. So from now on, we should try to save any amount of satoshi and try to earn more and more satoshi in many ways.

A lot of the forum members might think 0.01 BTC or $80 worth of bitcoin is not a big deal, but when you live in a third world country it is a big deal, because most people get like $10 a month and then they have to live from that. Most of these people do not have any disposable extra cash to buy bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

You can even get some people in 1st world countries with the same problem, because most of them are waist deep into debt. A lot of people are buying bitcoins on credit and that is their first mistake.  Angry

I come from a developing country. Although I do not belong to the bottom and I cannot speak on their behalf, I could say that 0.01 BTC or $80 is not really a big deal to the majority of us. Only that most of the people who are at my status do not have proper financial management. Yes, $80 is already a good amount to them but they could also spend it very quickly. They are spending around $2 of beer per bottle. And after calling it a night a group of poor people like me could consume 6 bottles in total, that would be roughly $16, not counting the food and packs of cigarettes.

If only these people know to manage their finances well, and set aside daily savings, or invest a portion of it to BTC or others, they can have a good amount of profit waiting for them in the future.

Here it would be like a year worth of food, just not very balanced, mostly grain based (discarded from other countries for "reasons" such as worms, which you get to clean out first). Its how most people have been surviving, those that didn't gave up and left already anyway.

Did i mention the "socialist" min wage here is equivalent to about 2 USD a month for a full time job? Yup, not even the Liberals manage to fulfill a no min wage like a Socialist can. Its all about telling people something, and having reality produce the opposite effect. If you are in doubt, blame America, its always THEIR fault...

Venezuela, right?

Venezuela, NK, Syria, Yemen, maybe Cuba and Zimbabwe are the handful of countries where I wouldn't blame people for having their ambitions too low... it's a bad position to be in, I'm sorry you have to endure this.

Satoshi Millionaire is one, who has 1 million Satoshi, i.e. 0.01 BTC.

There was a time when new entrants wanted to reach goal of 21 BTC, i.e. one in a million. Then it became Satoshi Billionaire, i.e. 10 BTC. Then 21 million club, i.e. 1 BTC. Now, owning 1 BTC is difficult and being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.

I am not in a race to become Satoshi Millionaire or billionare but i have some portion of the bitcoin and i will keep it save for the next 5 - 10 years.
I am continue to increase my little treasure as i know one day 1 satoshi will be worth lot more than it is now.

I consider myself a millionaire, now it’s not much, but it’s not easy times now either Wink
Well, I consider myself as a millionaire, millionaire with friends.  Cheesy
I hope that all of us became a millionaire but life will get nonsense, I can't call life as unfair anymore.

Sure I support this as BTCitcoin is not for the rich to invest and multiply their money, it is for everyone from every financial background and if OP has a small target to fulfill that is a good thing. There are countries in the world who have really low monthly wages which will be surprising for the West and not everyone is born with a silver spoon.
Bitcoin is not limited to any exclusive people, I'm sure it might have more benefits for Ukraine people. As long as you people have knowledge on that, take themselves on prosperous life.

that's like $80, come on
that really sucks as a goal, that sounds more like giving up on life
$80 barely buys a nice dinner around here... i know it may go further in other parts of the world but still... how much would it be? a month's worth of food?
There are plenty of people in the world who don't have a spare dollar in a month, let alone 80 of them. Even places you'd think were pretty together like Ukraine the national monthly wage is only about $300.
If it builds some ambition and inclusiveness then why not?

In 2010, 10k BTC used to worth only a Pizza. So, you never know. Just HODL, not the $80, but 0.01 BTC. Roll Eyes
I understand your intention and i am sure the price will be really big in the next ten years and 0.01BTC will be a huge amount by that time.
Considering your username of 100BTC you came down to 0.01BTC  Tongue  Cheesy.

I don't mind ambition, it just looks awfully small for almost anyone

my first job paid like $50 per month and if my ambition was to have $80 I'd still be there making $50 (maybe $70 due to inflation)

Unfortunately, the 'Haves' are largely unaware of the situation of 'Have Nots'.

yeah well I'm fully aware and based on that I believe the "have nots" should aim for more than $80

altho if it makes it easier for them to start at $80 and then go to $800 etc who am i to argue lol

Are there stats that can showcase the holders of BTC (like, 1000 people have 20 BTC in their wallet, 100,000 people have 1 BTC in their wallet). I'd like to see a graph/table of the distribution of holders and how that works.

A lot of countries have very low income, and a lot of people aren't in a position where they can spare 100 dollars a month for an investment, so let's not jump to conclusions here.

~ being a Satoshi Millionaire is the new goal.

it isn't the goal yet! 0.01BTC with current rate is about 80 bucks and that is not really a big goal. even back when 1 in a million was a goal and people wanted to reach 21 million the price was in the thousands (between 8 to 10 thousand dollar) with that rate the current goal would still be 1 whole bitcoin although i'd say that is lacking ambition.
You're making sense but I guess being a satoshi millionaire at least could be awesome when the time comes when btc goes up so high. There was a guy told me that "Who knows? Maybe .01 btc is worth so much in the future.

The other way around is to stack btc all up so that it will be more awesome for profits in the near future.

0.01 btc could be good achievement if we collect our bitcoin from the faucets because the rewards of satoshi from faucets lately was very low and maybe it took more than a month to reach that achievement but for the fast act you can buy 0.01 btc through an exchange and suddently you will being an satoshi millionare

of course there are many people who have millions of satoshi here, it's not something special, but for beginners who are the first to plunge into the world of cryptocurrency, it has its own pride

Count me in! 0.01 BTC is not impossible to earn, not much of a privilege. This is a sort of a poor Bitcoiners club. LOL! A club like this must be full to the brim of members. I am dreaming of a more exclusive one but definitely not the Satoshi Billionaire club. I won't be admitted there for sure. Perhaps 21 million club is a lot more practical at my current status.

Target limits are getting lower and lower as the price of Bitcoin is rising. We might be seeing an exclusive 1k Sat Elite Club soon.  Grin
