I've only been scammed once when trying to buy Bitcoin with a Ukash voucher, but luckily it was only for 10 euros.
I kinda anticipated it since the website didn't look too trustworthy from the start.

Well, many times I was deceived in the business world especially in the world of bitcoin. Well, HYIP and Minning is a major factor in this regard. too many promises and they promised bonus for an investment, even I've invested all bitcoin I have on one of the sites Minning, which has been forgotten. however, I just assumed that it was a very rewarding experience  Smiley

What are your bad experiences in bitcoin? Not just scammed by other users it could also include HYIP, Cloud mining scams, investment scams, etc. I know it's a bad thing that happened, I think it's better to share them here so you could vent out on what you are feeling.
I do not have much to share but I have been scammed a lot of times by HYIPS because when I was new I did not had much idea about gambling and there were not much sites to invest online so I used to invest all my money in Hyips and quickly withdraw once in profit. But I am overall in loss with that thing, so I suggest everyone to stay away from HYIPS.

I never been scammed because I simply do not trade or buy things from people that are not having a good feedback or not even have one these days its just so important to be on the look out.

Even if the trader is having a positive feedback, there is no guarantee that he will not try to con you. For example, in SR 2.0, there were some vendor accounts which had very good feedback, and still cheating their clients. I don't know what happened. Perhaps some scammer hacked these vendor accounts, and then used them to rob others.

no system is ever perfect and there will always be faults, hacks, scams,... everywhere, and all the additional information like trust rating on this forum are designed to give us some guidelines not the sure thing. when you see someone with green trust vs someone with red trust it is obvious which one is a better choice and in the end we should always use escrow to reduce the risks of trading.

Never.
But only because I started using Bitcoin when I was older. If I was a teenager I probably would not be so cautious.
Just remember- don't trust anyone on the internet. Smiley

feedback?
is worth nothing...I have never scammed and I have so much red trust...
I'm the living proff that you can not trust feedback.
This proves as well that it is not good to trust red trusters who red trust for wrong reasons...(lol)

I have really forgotten that how many times I have been scammed by others. When I started earning money online I started with hyip. Till the time I got the hang of it, i lost several dollars.

But when I started earning Bitcoin I was totally alert. I lost few bucks in trading and p2p loans. But I did not give anyone a chance to scam me.

I haven't been scammed in bitcoins... I think if you gamble with hyip and investment schemes then you really have to expect to get scammed at some point as you are participating in blatant scams.

You do realise those schemes are scams right?

Being in the bitcoin (trading) world and not be scammed I consider this man very lucky, personally I have been scammed many times but this was when I joined the bitcoin in the early stages where I trusted people and send the goods or bitcoins first.

Early days I involved with bitcoin I carried away by the easy and big profit and I invested (ha, ha) in Ponzi and HYIP schemes. The result is known to all. Fortunately the money I lost was little to reconsider second time. The good thing is that I got my lesson. The bad is that everyday many people new to cryptocurrencies fall into the trap of scammers

several of times maybe because i don't remember the exact number how many times i have been scammed and the cause is i was investing at cloud mining sites several times and most of my funds was lost because those cloud mining is fake but today i have learn that rather than investing at ponzi or HYIP sites is more better if i save my bitcoin for my ownself

Fortunately I haven't yet and hopefully never get it. I keep looking and research about anything before I decide to put my money in, keep clear my mind and not tempted by easy money or faster double it. However, this forum and some kinds of this discussion help us to watchful and learn from others experiences.
